Love this place, been here twice. The staff is super great. I loved how creative the rooms are and how much thought is put into them. We did mafia this last time and it was simply amazing, so challenging, so interesting, I really loved it. Will definitely be coming back to do the other rooms when I get a chance.

A great spot in a great location! The rooms are fun, the staff is good, and theres a killer brewery right next door for a quick drink when youre done. Ill be back!

This place has such attention to detail. Currently there is only one escape room open. The room is challenging, but very fun! We went with two people might be easier with a couple more. If youre looking for something fun to do for an hour look no further! Cant wait to see the other three rooms coming in the next coming months!

We had a great time with Power Surge, and managed to escape - though did need a few hints to get past a couple of puzzles.. Staff very friendly - highly recommend.

We ve done two of the escape rooms here and thoroughly enjoyed both. We loved the Jersey themes and found the rooms to have really good production values with nicely varied puzzles - not just locks. Our game masters were great and super helpful with timely hints when needed.

This was our 2nd time at Escape Garden State, but this time with our two younger ones. We did Boardwalk which had lots of arcade game-focused puzzles which were challenging, but yet not too hard. The staff was great and timely with the hints. It looks like they expanded their physical space since the pandemic as well. Definitely check them out!

Having the opportunity to approach all 4 available games at this location I can honestly say that this is one of the top 10 when it comes to puzzle design. The theming is excellent as well as the overall size. This was a wonderful event and would highly recommend this to others.

STELLAR!!!! Was the first time I tried an escape room. My daughter and I had an absolute BLAST!!! We did the Devils Den and to say it was very challenging is an understatement with 2 people being separated in two rooms. Although we didn t get out, and thought we almost did, we weren t even close lol. The room designs, decor and technology are fabulous. It wasn t what I expected at all. So much detail, it s easy to miss something obvious. Can t wait to go back and do the others. Thanks guys!

Great escape room! My family of 4 (two adult kids plus parents) are frequent escape room players and we thought the mafia diner room was pretty challenging, though in a good way! Loved the variety of puzzles (much more than just padlocks and keypads) and a helpful game master who provided hints when appropriate without giving away too much.

Our group of four had an amazing time in the Devil s Den! We loved that there were many different types of puzzles to solve rather than just locks. Chad was also a great host that gave us the perfect amount of hints to lead us in the right direction when we were getting off track. We will definitely be back!

We had a phenomenal experience at Escape Garden State! We did the Mafia-themed room: If you are visiting from out-of-state, this room is a must to get an authentic Jersey experience. We found it to be a fun experience that challenged us to work together as a team. I especially enjoyed the sequence of events and inclusion of Sopranos. The room itself was well crafted- clearly significant talent exists within ownership. The staff was very engaged and professional. Highly recommend Escape Garden State for a night out or team builder event.

Intensely ecstatic about our absolutely amazing experience at Escape! We did a double header of rooms for our friend s birthday. All the puzzles were very well thought out and created a real challenge. Our game masters were absolutely wonderful. Big shoutout to them tonight! Hopefully we made you laugh with our jokes and antics.

Im an avid escaper (having escape more than 50 rooms!) and I really enjoyed the rooms at Escape Garden State! Im also a Jersey boy, so I appreciate the effort to center the thematics of all their rooms around New Jersey in a clever way. The rooms are well designed, decorated, spacious, and quite varied between rooms. My personal favorite here: The Devils Den!

The Game Master was great! The room (Boardwalk Blast) was just the right level of difficulty for our first escape-room (we are 2 11-year olds and an Adult). It was super fun and we couldnt stop talking about it for the rest of the day.

I really just wanted to shout out our host Stephanie! She was really lovely and I loved her energy. My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday and we attempted the Boardwalk Blast room. I will admit we got stuck once or twice but Stephanie helped in the best way possible! We did escape with like 4 minutes left but even if we hadnt, we still wouldve had a great time. Thanks again!

Although my group did not accomplish the rooms in time, we had a blast! I am thankful for the instructions at the beginning, or else I wouldve been going through everything, haha. I look forward to the next rooms!

My family came to Escape Garden State to celebrate 2 birthdays. For most of the group, this was our first escape room and all had a great time. We did the Power Surge room but unfortunately the clock ran out. We were close! Really liked the Jersey theme and the creative puzzles. Looking forward to trying another room.

My partner and I tried to do the mafia escape room. It was challenging but I m willing to go back to complete it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. This is a great place to go with a group of friends or family!

Me, my wife and another couple came to Escape Garden State to celebrate our respective anniversaries recently. This is me and my wifes second time coming here. The facility is always clean and the staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. The escape rooms are a blast. They offer the right amount of challenge. And even when we were stumped at a few spots, we never stopped having fun. And the staff nudged us in the right direction without giving away the answer to a puzzle. This first room we tried was Boardwalk Blast and the second visit was Power Surge. Both rooms were very thematic and engaging. We cant wait to come back and try the other rooms.

While Ive done escape rooms at other places (including failing to escape more than once), this was my first time at Escape Garden State, and it was a blast. It was easy to book, staff was really helpful and friendly. I went with a group of 7 (4 adults, 3 teenagers). We did the Jersey Devil escape, an intermediate difficulty. For me, the best part was that all three teens really got into it and enjoyed it. Totally worth doing!

Came here for my birthday to do the Devil s Den room. It was challenging but we escaped with a few minutes to spare! The room setup was great and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. I had such a great time that I recently came back to try Boardwalk Blast which was a little bit easier but still fun! I ll definitely be back to try out the other two rooms and would recommend this place to both beginners and experienced room escapers

Best escape room experience! All the rooms are fun and are true to level of difficulty. If you can choose a game master, ask for Emily! Whoever came up with the sequence of game play made sure to make them equal parts fun and challenging. The rooms are clean and don t have a lot of the wear and tear some of the other escape rooms we ve been to. It deserves all five stars!

Have gone here and now completed all 4 rooms with a friend. We had Emily, who was an awesome game master for us. Clean place, great NJ vibe, very challenging rooms. Id go back again if they had more rooms!

Our family of four (two seniors and two 30-ish adults) did the Power Surge escape room, one of Escape Garden States easier rooms. This was the right level for our second escape room ever. Our first was in Baltimore and we failed. We prepared ahead of time by watching some general best practices on YouTube. There were a variety of puzzles, locks and hidden items so our different strengths and abilities were useful. Great job by our game master who was very nice and guided us masterfully!

This place is fantastic! All the rooms have great themes and are really well made. The puzzles are clever, fun and plentiful. The staff is really friendly too, so overall, the entire experience is great. I hope they create new rooms soon because I cant wait to go back!

We had a great time - and successfully escaped the Power Surge this weekend! This is our 3rd time at Escape Garden State and we have found their adventures all always fun and challenging! Staff are on the ball and provide timely and helpful hints right when we need them. We will definitely be back to take on some of the other rooms soon!

Great experience here! I did the Power Surge room with my team from work and it was a great team-building exercise. The theme was fun and the room had plenty of secrets to uncover. I definitely want to come back to see the other rooms!

My coworkers and I wanted to do a team bonding event here and we are so glad we did it! We did the Devils Den room and we had a great time! Working together through the 2 rooms and then combining as 1, kept it competitive but still required a lot of communication and teamwork. We want to come back and do another one.
