Keystone Escape Games: Escape Room Reno

Easily some of the best escape rooms Ive ever done in the area. My friends and I did The Blood of the Original today and could not have been more delighted. The puzzles were a good difficulty and never felt unfair or janky, and the room has a ton of character. (We also nearly peed ourselves from a couple of well-timed jumpscare moments.) Maxwell was also an incredible GM and really got into character during our experience. I look forward to coming back when the new room opens up!

Oh WOW what a great experience! Our group did the Dragon Alley. The props were excellent, really creative. They didnt go cheap with the props excellent workmanship. Truly immersive and tactile experience. The escape room is decorated and appropriately themed, we even got to wear wizard capes! We had such a great time and was able to get out (we werent for sure of course until we did :-) ) with 13 minutes to spare. Read full review out. Dungeon Master Jordan was awesome, very welcoming. Staff we met before going in were friendly. This place had such a positive vibe. Too bad were not in the Reno area long enough to do the other one which is vampire themed. Wish we had an escape room place comparable to Keystone Escape where we live, those places can learn how to do it right from Keystone. Well come back here again and again whenever were in Reno. Celebrating our wedding anniversary vacation in Reno from Florida. My husband and I stumbled upon an escape room and decided to try it out together. The experience was fantastic! We chose The Blood of the Original room, which was brilliantly designed. The attention to detail and execution were impeccable. Having completed around 10 rooms before, this one easily ranks in our top 3! This was an amazing family experience!! My little ones ( 4, 8), teenage cousin and niece had a blast. We completed Dragon Alley and came back the following day to complete Blood of the Original. Both of our game masters were great. The rooms were well designed with the right balance of scare, thrill, excitement, and creativity. This is a must try. The prices are affordable and the difficulty of the rooms makes success highly likely. Thank you for an amazing weekend activity.

We have done over a dozen rooms across the country, this is definitely one of our favorites. Our host was dressed in the theme, the rooms were very well organized and the props were great! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend

Such a great escape room! We ve done a several escape rooms some of which we thought were really cool, but this one tops them all! We chose to do the Dragon Alley room with our kids (ages 2, 4, 6, and 7). The many different styles of puzzles were amazing and clever. It was very well designed and professionally done. They didn t cut any corners in immersing you in the experience of it all! They were also very patient and willing to work with our young kids so that we could all have an amazing time! I would definitely recommend this one!

This was a fantastic experience. The room itself was really fun and I liked that our group could split and work on different aspects to move us forward. Also, I m going to have to give a huge amount of credit to Maxwell, who from the first moment we entered the establishment, created a magical environment. Well done!! We will be back!

If you are deciding where to go for your next escape room, go here! Me & my man did the Vampire themed room, it was the best escape room we ve ever done! It was the perfect difficulty level, the rooms are amazingly decorated with so much detail. Their hint system is AWESOME. Maxwell was so fun and made the experience excited for us to return again!

All of us in our group loved this escape room! We did the Dragon Alley one and it was our favorite escape room weve done so far and we have done several at different places. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the game and participated in a really fun way! My kids, age 14, 12, and 10 loved it, and while it was challenging, when we needed help they gave clues that didnt ruin the experience. We definitely want to come back and do the vampire themed one next! Thank you guys for the fun experience!

Really happy with our experience! Very detailed and engaging puzzles, and well-made set-up and props. Our game master Key was great - made the whole game feel immersive from start to finish. Definitely coming back again, and will recommend to anyone looking for fun escape rooms to try out in the future to come to Keystone.

Ive been to every other escape room in reno except here and I can say it was definitely best for last! We did Dragon Alley and it was super fun, the puzzles, and effects were super cool! Thank you Daniel for running our game and being awesome. :)

First time doing an escape room. We did the Blood of the Original, a vampire steampunk themed room. We had an hour to complete the challenge. We made it with 2 seconds to spare! It was a ton of fun! All five of us worked together well and our teamwork paid off just in the nick of time. The rooms were well thought out and decor was awesome. We were given a few hints, but otherwise the clues within the rooms were done very well. Kudos to the staff too. Love the costumes and positive attitudes. We are going to do Dragon Alley when we visit Reno again.

These rooms are the BEST! They are so well done! We love how interactive they are! If you re going to do an escape room, this is the place!

We chose to do the vampire themed escape room, and it did not disappoint! Maxwell was an amazing host and the entire experience was absolutely something we will be back to try again. The puzzle was challenging and the room was appropriately. Creepy and awesome! We really had a great time together and had such a fun evening. Thank you so much we will absolutely be back, and for anyone reading this if you have escape rooms or if you never tried in the escape room, get over here and try it - so much fun!

Played both escape rooms they currently offer. We have played others and this one is our favorite place so far. The quality of the puzzles, rooms, and mechanics is excellent. 10/10 recommend. Our hosts both times were awesome and from start to finish these puzzles and the whole experience did not disappoint.

This was hands down the best escape room I have done. The atmosphere was incredible and on theme. The room itself was fun and spooky. Shout out to the staff they did a fantastic job especially Maxwell.

Great time at Keystone Escape Games! We did the vampire room. It was such a great room, definitely one of the top escape rooms that I ve done. Maxwell was an excellent host!

My friends and I are big fans of escape rooms here in Reno. We are also horror fans. We did the Blood of the Original room and had a blast. It was one of the best rooms. It did exactly what it advertised and kept us on our toes. The scare factors were for sure there and there were times the three of us were shaking. Do make sure you have someone who is good at mental math. That is one downside. The ambiance of the whole facility was spot on. We can t wait to get to the next room.

My wife and I first time at one of these places for her birthday and it was amazing the hostess was great the escape room was amazing everything we could think of I recommend highly we will be back I think were addicted

My wife and I have done many escape rooms in Reno/Sparks and also Florida. The game master was very much in character and made it fun and interesting. They were very helpful and accommodating. We escaped Blood of the Original and that escape room was AWESOME! Highly recommend and will be coming back to do the Dragon Alley room.

Keystone Escape Games Reno was a really fun experience. Ive played many escape rooms but this was the first time having any staff be in character for the rooms and it definitely added to the experience. Maxwell was the best host ever, extremely fun, entertaining, and helpful. Now Ill feel cheated everywhere else I go; like Im not getting the full experience. I will be recommending Keystone Escape Games to all my friends

We had a great time. The staff was professional and dressed with appropriate costumes. They set the tone for a fun time. The scenery and sounds made the experience even more fun. We highly recommend this escape room.

So much effort put into the look and feel of these rooms. Definitely above and beyond all of the escape rooms we have done so far. The host was fantastic as well. Extremely immersive experience! Can t wait to try their second room

Went here to try Dragon Alley and was really blown away. The room was really well themed and had some challenging puzzles too! Daniel was our game master and did a really terrific job. 10/10 must try

This place was SO perfect for a family outing! 6 of us had so much fun doing the Dragon Alley. All of us with kids from ages 8-16 and the parents too! It was challenging and yet we got the help when we needed it. The materials were all quality and not run down or broken. Lots of rooms, puzzles and clues. Really one of the best weve done! Thanks for a great night while visiting Reno!

Escape room was challenging but fun. Game master did a fantastic job of setting up the story and assisting through a character. The room was super detailed and the puzzles kept us occupied. Will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed the engaging puzzles, the elaborate room decor and special effects, and the friendly employees. It was appreciated how kid/family friendly the rooms and staff were, too. Well definitely be back to try out their other rooms.

This place was super fun! My group had a blast working together. Lots of laughs and smiles. The puzzles and props were amazing quality! Cannot wait to try the other escape room next time were in Reno.

Great place! The staff made this one of the best escape rooms I have done. It was well organized and plenty of tasks to complete to make it fun. We brought a group from a high school student council and it was a great actvity for them

My team and I have gone to a lot of escape rooms in the Reno-Sparks area, some very good and some frankly mediocre. This one has been by a good margin the best in the area. The puzzles are fantastic, intuitive enough that you arent likely to feel like you have no idea what youre supposed to do, but complex enough that you feel clever and accomplished for finishing them. Read full review, but the amount of escape rooms with puzzles that straight dont work is depressing). Best however was the atmosphere. We did the fantasy room, which included a full story explained by our guide, and unlike many rooms which give you a walkie talkie to request hints, we had a skeleton named Jim who talked with us the whole time and offered helpful hints. This added so much to the experience, because the hint system was incorporated into the theme of the room rather than being a concession of convenience that takes you out of the moment. If I could rate the room higher than a 5 star I would. Full marks, no notes.
