Escape From St. Louis

Our group recently did a room here and it was phenomenal. Doing one of their newer rooms still in refinement we found it to be a blast, with unique puzzles that were difficult but linear enough that we didnt get stuck too long. Lots of extra compartments/rooms, moving items, loud bangs, and other atmospheric additions. We will definitely go back and try another room, and Id highly recommend it to others.

My wife and I have done all the rooms here. We enjoyed each room, whether we did it with our kids (8 and 11), friends, or coworkers. Weve had as few as 4 people in the room and as many as 8. Eight felt crowded, but thats true of every escape room weve done. The newest room is Vanished, and it was a great time. We had 2 people whod never done an escape room before, and they loved it. Staff are friendly and appropriately helpful. They never gave unnecessary hints or too much info. They also gave me recommendations for other escape rooms to play since weve done all of theirs. They are really great, and again, all the rooms are good. You wont go wrong.

Met up with some work people here and it was great. We were able to solve the escape room, the wizard one in under an hour. The puzzle was challenging enough that we were busy the entire time even with 8 people. Definitely will go back again.

Weve done 33 escape rooms and Escape From St. Louis has some of our favorite rooms. Weve done all their rooms, and we were STOKED to hear about the new Vanished room (which we just escaped tonight!). The rooms are always challenging (in a good way) and on theme. The gamemasters are always warm and welcoming and definitely add to the whole experience.

Our group of 9 played the Carnival of the Cosmos room and had a blast! The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The room was difficult, but were able to escape with about 6 minutes left!

First time at a escape room and it was one of the coolest things Ive done. Infinite hints and the room we did was a good difficulty for 2 people. Very cool would do again!

Did the Carnival of the Cosmos with my team and loved it. Would highly recommend this for a fun team holding event or just a group date night. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I booked the Wizard Quest for Father s Day, since none of us had ever done one before. My two sons, 8 & 10, along with my husband and myself were able to complete the room just in time! The staff was super helpful and friendly, giving us clues along the way as needed. Both boys were able to help and get their wheels spinning with theories. Cool room and set up with magical twists. We had a great time!

My partner and I had a great time in the Carnival of the Cosmos room! We JUST managed to get through it on time, and we felt really good at the end. The room was well done, lots of fun pieces, and the staff were great with communication throughout.

Our family (6 adults) did the Wizard adventure and had a lot of fun. We escaped with about 7 minutes left. Staff was great and very helpful. We didnt ask for any clues, but they did guide us a couple of times when we werent too sure if we were on the right track. We are already planning which room we want to do next.

My siblings and I did the Carnival of the Cosmos and had a ton of fun! This is the hardest room they have, but our game master was incredible! She was so patient and helpful when we needed it most. I didn t catch her name, but she made the experience so much more fun! The room is definitely unique and has elements I ve never seen before in escape rooms. Would definitely recommend!

Was very impressed by their newest Vanished room. So many unique puzzles packed into that room. Not to spoil anything, but this is the first escape room Ive ever been to that has multiple endings and shortcuts! Secrets within secrets so to say. We also got a neat breakdown of how the room was wired up after finishing which was very cool to see; you could tell the owner/puzzle maker/GM had a lot of passion in her work. Likewise she was attentive. We also learned almost nothing was triggered remotely and all was done via sensors. Very cool.

One of the best rooms we have done! Various types of clues and locks. Very well put together. The owners did an awesome job. They had to give my wife and I a few extra minutes and several clues and we still missed it by a minute. Would come back to do another room if we were from here.

My son and I previously have completed Carnival of the Cosmos and Vanished (the first team in beta testing to do so). We just did the original room here, Murder at Denbrough Mansion. Very very fun. Like a live action logic puzzle. Good for kids. And handi accessible too.

We took our 10 year old son and four of his friends. It was challenging, but they gave clues and hints when needed and were so friendly and helpful! The boys had a blast-we will be back!

This was my third time doing an escape room at Escape From St. Louis. They never disappoint and are so much fun. The staff goes above and beyond to make it a fun and enjoyable experience.

First Escape Room experience! Family group of 8 for the Denbrough Murder Mystery and it was a great time. The room was small, but the space was well-used and chock full of fun clues and cleverness. We loved it!

Our party of 4 had a great time in the Murder Party room. We solved it with 3 minutes to spare. Staff was very helpful and friendly and accomodations were clean and well done. Looking forward to doing the Wizard room this summer!!

We went 1/28/24 as a team building experience and did the wizard quest room. This was the second escape room I had ever been to, and this one WAY surpassed the one I had done with a different company. Loved how there were multiple rooms, and the challenges they presented were hard, but not un-doable! Everyone on my team had a great time, and our hostess was amazing!

me and my friend group of 5 went here for my 20th birthday + had SO much fun -!!! We were a bit late, but they accommodated really well, which I was super thankful for. We did wizard quest, the room set up was so cool, and you had to really think to get a lot of the clues, we needed the entire time, but got out just in time. the woman who was helping us was so great, I wish I remembered her name to add into the review. I totally recommend, we all plan on going back to try carnival of the cosmos next !!!

My roommate and I played Vanished on its grand opening and it is a MUST PLAY. Especially for enthusiasts!!! The thought and detail that went into this room is incredible and we were blown away. We have played around 70 escape rooms and this is EASILY in my top 5! Thank you to Julie for a wonderful experience!!

We did the Wizard room with our kids and had a blast! It was both their first time doing an Escape Room and they are now obsessed! It was the perfect room for beginners! Will be back!

Fun and interactive experience. We did the carnival room and the team really enjoyed the puzzles. The staff was very helpful and pleasant

We had a great time. The puzzles were pretty challenging but we did manage to escape with a minute and a half left. There were 8 of us. 4 adults and 4 kids. Teamwork was definitely important. Everyone had the chance to solve a couple of puzzles. We will definitely go back to play another room.

The facility seemed nice and the game was setup well with a good story and very challenging clues. A couple of them would not trigger when solved towards the end and some of the locks dont work very well. The person working had to come in and assist with one of them (wont spoil) that wouldnt open a door. The color based clues and locks arent great for color blind people either but I guess thats what teams are for. Lastly the lack of restrooms are a bit odd, as well as parking being challenging.

Used a gift certificate from Christmas 2022 that I wasnt sure I would ever use but glad I did. This was a enjoyable outing for a family of six, aged 75+. Although we didnt escape on our own we had fun trying. Would recommend to anyone who likes a challenge.

My daughter was celebrating her 11th birthday and wanted to try and escape room. Escape From STL did not disappoint. She and her friends had a great time and talking about planning to go back once school gets out!

We booked the Wizard Quest room for a group of 10 twelve-year-olds for a birthday party. They had a great time! It was challenging, but doable for this age group, especially with a few conveniently timed hints from the host. The staff couldnt have been kinder. Several people in the group plan to return to try some of the other rooms.

Our family of 5 was looking for a fun activity we could do together before the kids went back to college that didnt involve sitting on the couch and this was perfect. Lisa was incredibly accommodating with scheduling. Looking forward to our next challenge at Escape from St. Louis!

Had such a amazing time, the murder mystery room was amazing and perfect for our small group of beginners, cant wait to try onw of the other rooms
