The Escape Game Kansas City

We had so much fun in the special ops room! It s very interactive. Ray was our game guide! They were amazing!

Did the Gold Rush room & it was so fun with lots of twists and turns throughout the way!! Lauren and Rain were so nice & we definitely recommend this place for groups!! Edit: We came back & did 2 more games (The Timeliner & Depths) both games were super fun & challenged our brains. General consensus was Gold Rush was the most fun & interactive, Timeliner was mentally challenging & Depths was a mix of both!

Had some gift cards to the joint and decided to try Prison Break. My experience with the show of the same name, Escaping Alcatraz, and Shawshank Redemption all kept me in the loop because I would have not been help to my team elsewise . This was definitely the coolest and most interactive escape room Ive done in a long time, and even though it was rated the most difficult, Id say that there was nothing that required me to be in Mensa or a code cracker in WW1. We solved the puzzle with 34 seconds to spare. And even though we did rely on a good amount of hints, Id say we solved ot stumbled through a good amount that we felt accomplished in the end and not spoon fed or anything of that sort.

We did the market which was and 8/10 but it was pretty easy for us. I wish we would have done a harder one. Every employee was very nice!

Loved it!! We did Gold Rush and ..it was challenging but we got it with the help of our guardian angel. This is a great idea for a date night or just family fun. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing experience! We did the Prison Break and escaped! The game masters were extremely helpful and very kind. We loved it so much we booked another one! Cant wait to be back!

Nick deserves a raise (I was not paid for this review)! In reality, the place is great. Ive been to a lot of escape rooms and this place has been my favorite. We ended up doing 3 games in one day - not for the faint of heart. Luckily when we had 4 hours in-between games theres a lot to do within walking distance. Daniella was great too. Lauren was awesome. We only did every room here.

This was the best part about our bachelorette trip! Collin our game guide was so sweet and did such a good job! The experience was a party during Saint Patrick s Day and they decked the place out with green decorations and made the experience super special!

My daughter and I have successfully escaped over 30 rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our time escaping in Prison Break with 2 seconds to spare, and Special Ops (which we did twice bc we didnt escape the first time but was super close)! If you are looking for a fun and challenging game this is the best place to go! Highly recommend! It is no wonder why they have 5 star reviews! They do not disappoint!

Jeff and Morgan were amazing! Morgan was attentive to our needs from the time we entered the facility! She answered any questions that we had and offered a wealth of information! Jeff was an awesome game master. He too was very nice and informative. The clues he gave were awesome and made us feel welcomed to ask questions. Read full review never had! We informed them that it was my daughter s birthday. Morgan, Jeff, and the entire crew signed the card and wrote birthday wishes for my child! The kindness and care given a to us was unbelievable! We are so happy we had the opportunity to play the escape game at an establishment with such loving and caring people.

We booked the Gold Rush and it was exceptionally fun. There was only one small problem with a BB gun section where we had no way to receive the numbers we needed and had to resort to a clue, but the rest of the game went smoothly as far as our collective intelligence would allow. I would recommend this to any family looking for an hour to burn.

Easily the best themed rooms I ve ever done. We completed 3 rooms in one day and absolutely loved the staff there to help with. Mason and Colin were an absolute delight and everyone we interacted with went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped us have a blast. I can t wait to come back and finish out the list of rooms offered!

I went here for my birthday with my family and we did the timeliner escape room. I would say I had an amazing experience it was so fun and the way the room was designed and executed was really good! The workers we all so nice and welcoming plus being able to take pictures in the room witch most escape rooms don t allow. I would definitely come back again!

Honestly such a good time. We escaped The Depths and it was such a unique theme with some REALLY good plot twists. Amelia, our host, was such a peach and did a great at letting us take charge but offering help when needed. She even took time at the end to take pictures and ask us about the experience! I cannot wait to do another challenge!

Special ops was awesome, it is a challenging room but we made it out. We had a group of 7 and everyone added to the experience. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful.

My young adult kids and I had a really fun time, the staff was very friendly and made sure we had a good time. I was having hot flashes that made me feel nauseous, they brought a fan into our room to help me feel better. The staff went above and beyond making sure we had a good experience. I really appreciated the kindness and warmth that was shown to us. Thank you all!

We ve been to several escape rooms in KC, but this was the first time at this specific one and it s hands down the BEST and most fun. The location is easy to get to. The rooms are designed to make you feel like you are IN the game. It s well thought out, and the individuals running the game for your room make sure you re having fun. 10/10 from us!

This is the second time doing escape rooms with this company and totally blown away. We love how elaborate, interactive and creative these rooms are! We brought our kids and were shocked with how much they were able to help! We will be back again! Do yourself a favor and go ahead and book for a memorable and fun night!!

Casey made the check-in process so easy and the game was so much fun! The clues were hard but not impossible and it allowed everyone in my group to feel engaged. I will definitely go back and see what the really hard rooms are about!

Promise was our game master and she was amazing!!! She really stayed with us the whole way and helped us out when we were struggling.

I had a great time at The Escape Game! I did the prison breakout room and it was a blast. It was definitely a challenge, but hints at request came in super helpful. I would 10/10 recommend. I went with 4 people and it was awesome. I even mentioned in passing that it was my birthday. They made me a hand drawn birthday card and even included the chicken sand which I mentioned I had for my birthday dinner. The card they gave me is what the picture is of! Very sweet and kind of them!

Ustafa was a wonderful game leader! Super clear instructions and good hints. The room itself was as hard as Id imagine a 9/10 difficulty. I would absolutely love to go and try the other rooms here. Would definitely recommend this location. As well as bringing minimum 4 people. I would recommend 6-8.

Fantastic family fun night! Make sure your communication is on point if you re going for prison break! Jeff is an awesome game master! Helpful without ever just giving you the answer and super nice!

We have visited The Escape Game Kansas City and did 2 games! Most of the employees/game masters are really nice but two really went above and beyond Mason & KC! We usually play in DC but this location really has great employees, they re very friendly, approachable, and informative! Kudos Mason, KC, and Janelle you made our vacation more memorable!

Mustafa was an exceptional host. He did a great job of providing enough tips to help move our group along, while still allowing us to be challenged. We had an absolute blast!

Great room!! Professional quality props Very challenging yet not impossible Timing of help/clues was perfect Highly recommend to anyone!! Very friendly staff! Lauren was our clue giver and did a phenomenal job! She gave enough help to keep us going yet not a complete answer to keep us challenged. If you haven t done the Kansas City escape game - DO IT!! 5 stars all around

We had a great time! Did 2 escape rooms back to back and had the time of our lives with Jeff, Collin, and Mason! Highly recommend spending time there!
