Escape This Place Raytown

So great! They were so nice and thoughtful. We took my daughter for her birthday and they went above and beyond. The room was really well done and super cool. This place is absolutely worth it and the owners are amazing.

What a fun experience! Id never tried an escape room before, so wasnt sure what to expect. It was fun, challenging and rewarding. The Rock Creek Mercantile storyline was interesting, the props and clues were very clever. Thanks to our hosts; you can tell they put a lot of thought into the game. This was well worth the drive to Raytown; especially since Crane Brewing is just down the street. Cant wait to try their room #2, The Secret Library.

First time doing an escape room. Loved Escape This Place. The guys here are very nice. We did the Rock Creek Mercantile. Didnt make it out in time. It was very challenging but they guys gave lots of clues and we didnt feel rushed out. Price was great for a group of 8.

My daughters took me for a Mothers Day gift and I loved it! This was my first experience in an escape room. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to work or the clues and embarrass myself, but that didnt happen. We had a large group, so we worked together and everyone was able to contribute something. When we got stuck and couldnt get one of the contraptions to work, the staff was extremely helpful and stepped in. We figured it out and escape with time left. It was a lot of fun and the puzzles and clues were just the right amount of difficulty. I would love to go back.

This escape room was lovely. We did the library room and made it out with 5 seconds left. I have been to about 15 escape rooms and this is in the top 5 for sure. It is a small business that took time to really pay attention to details. It keep you guessing and you never felt like you knew what would happen next. The room easily fit 6 of us and had something for everyone to be doing. We were there celebrating my birthday and I would totally come back next year! Highly recommend!!

Lots of fun. The two rooms we completed were Very different in puzzle solution type. Well designed and a lot of fun. Host was very accommodating.

Our family had a blast! Everyone had ample opportunity to participate. We have been to 3 other escape rooms, and all agreed this one was the best! The staff were awesome!

We did not, if fact, Escape This Place. Lots of fun, puzzles werent too hard but were still challenging. It was a good mystery story. The location was a little hard to find, but overall a great time.

Had an absolutely amazing time! Went with several friends. The challenges were just right - tension, fear we wouldnt make, but not too hard (we won in the last minute!). The feeling makes it all the better - they had storyline and atmosphere to guide the experience. Great, warm people. I will definitely go back.

We had a great time! The puzzles were difficult enough to exercise our mental faculties but were not unreasonably hard. It is a great gift for those who dont want THINGS for their birthday!

My Group Of 8 had a blast, I decided to take my Mother , two Aunties, my grandma and my two sisters... we had so much fun it was challenging but fun afterwards my family kept asking about doing more rooms.this place is reasonably priced and the staff is very professional, funny and courteous as well. Great detailed escape room. We did the Rock Creek Mercantile and were not disappointed! We escaped with a bit over 2 minutes left . Friendly people and overall a great experience.

My friends and I went here for my birthday in January and it was a lot of fun! We did the Rock Creek Mercentile & it was pretty challenging but we made it out with around 2 minutes left!

I think Im much more afraid of being locked in than locked out. Clever designs and unique environments. You can tell they want to make Escape this Place a one of a kind experience. Go for the love of the game, come back for the challenge.

This place was so much fun! We did the Rock Creek Mercantile, and the story was engaging, the puzzles were the perfect balance between challenging, achievable, and fun! Great staff, game master, etc. Will definitely be back! God bless yall!

My family and I completed the Secret of the Library room today. The whole experience was wonderful! I truly do not leave reviews but when I saw the post event email thank you I just wanted to. Our Experience highlights... I called a few weeks prior to booking and was able to book an earlier time that better suited our familys schedule. We also were allowed to start earlier than our booked time. That was nice. We came for my father in laws birthday. They acknowledged him and provided him with a birthday...
Read full review balloon. What a thoughtful touch. The cute decor and repurposed items in the building are fun. My family and I learned some history about the items and space while talking to the owners. Very kind and personable. This area and building can be overlooked for the flashier spots in town but make no mistake it is well worth visiting!! I highly recommend Escape This Place!!

Awesome place! We escaped the Rock Creek Mercantile. It was a really fun, family friendly experience.

Very fun and neat escape room. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Completed the Oswald Christmas. Challenging but fun. Escaped with 24 seconds left.

Very friendly people and a great story. The library is a good challenge. We even left with some souvenirs for the birthday girl in the group. Definitely will go back to try the other room.

Great room design and game play. Great for all levels of players. Played both rooms was only able to escape one in time. Challenging puzzles and you feel vesy proud of succeeding the rooms. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys escape rooms

Didnt finish but had a blast! This was my first escape room and I am glad it was. We first walked in and were greeted with a friendly smile and the Game Master gave us the rules in a very clear manner with plenty of time for questions. While we were in the room the intercom was nice and clear and were able to hear the tips we were given. The room was challenging but did not feel impossible and if we had a little more time! After we finished, they told us there was another room option, and that they are planning another room in the future and I would definitely got back and try it!

A great time. Just challenging enough to make it fun, but not so much that we were tearing our hair out. The employees were pleasant, and though there is a small variety of rooms (for now) it is definitely a place I would recommend to friends.

We had our office Christmas party here and had such a great time. Joe was very friendly and helpful from the moment we called to make our reservation. The room was the perfect challenge and team building experience for us! Definitely recommend this place!

My group and I came for my birthday and we had a blast! I ve done a ton of rooms and this was one of my favorites. Everything was really well thought out, the story flowed really well, and everyone was super kind. We ll be back for another room!

Our group of 8 really enjoyed this room. The puzzles were tough but not too tough and were just the right speed for us. If you have never been to an escape room, you need to get your friends together and get there. Thanks to Joe for the help. :-)

This place was amazing. The people are so nice and we felt safe. It was challenging and made a great time for our family.

The staff use inappropriate tones with our group of kids and lectured on rules more than they gave guidance to them. I think they could be more kid friendly but it was okay.

This is one of the best escape rooms Ive been too. It was a really nice place and we will be going back.
