The Great Escape Room Royal Oak

Staff was friendly, signing waivers was easy, plenty of hand sanitizer, and the escape rooms are clean. Theres baskets for you to put your stuff in before going into the rooms. Me and my group had a lot of fun doing our room, and the hints when we needed them were helpful. Will be going again!

We had an amazing experience playing the escape room. The host was very friendly and explained everything that we needed to know. Will definitely recommend this place if youre looking to have some fun.!

Great escape room experience! The setup was fun. The rooms and puzzles were good quality.

The escape room was my first, and it was really fun solving the puzzles. Me and 5 of my close friends played the room where we had to prevent missiles from launching. We took about 56 minutes out of the maximum 1 hour, but it never felt slow or boring. Highly recommend!

If you are looking to experience a challenging escape room, this is the place to go! While each room is fun, they push you to think outside of the box and requires you to focus on the obvious and not so obvious. You must pay attention to the details. Each time I ve been to The Great Escape Room, I have had a great time! Make sure to bring a group that is ready for the challenge. I haven t done all the rooms, so I m definitely coming back!

A good, solid escape room experience. A good difficulty level if you have a mix of experienced and newer players in your group. If I were looking for an escape room for the appropriate number of players I would definitely look to play one of the other rooms available at this location as an option.

We loved the time we spent to solve the charades money well spend and looking forward to go back to play in the other rooms. We escaped just 5 minutes before deadline. We were on the Presidential Poker room. Very challenging charades to solve. Recommendation is for planning and divide the tasks before you head on with your group. There was the need to ask some hints but definitely great team building experience

Very fun and unique escape room compared to the ones I ve tried before. We did the Surgery themed one. Very challenging but extremely interactive and fun. I don t remember the gentleman s name running the show. But my wife and I ran out of time at the last part of the room, and he let us finish it out because there was no one scheduled after us. Would recommend.

The staff is super nice. Grimmy was super kind and helpful. They made the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were a lot fun. We went twice and plan to go back soon.

The Great Escape Room was a very fun and exciting place. We tried the Poker Night at the presidents bunker house and it was very challenging, super fun, and we shared lots of laughs as we tried solving the clues. Definitely will go back to explore the other rooms and would recommend this place to anyone. The staff was super nice and helpful.

Had a blast with our group of 4! We did Rob the Mob and its a great story with plenty of compelling elements. The staff is great and is there to help with whatever you need. Would like to return!

If youve ever been to an escape room and had a good experience, dont go here!! My family and I tried this place and ended up requesting a refund. While in our escape room we asked for a clue, the person on the speaker had no idea what clue to give us, she asked what clue do you need? But due to poor speaker quality we could not under the clue she provided, we asked her to repeat the clue and she didnt respond. So I stepped out to see if she could repeat the clue in person, but she was not...
Read full review on the premises she was removing in from another site. The person there tried to troubleshoot with her over the speaker but he also was unable to u derstand her well. After this it was clear that this experience would be lack luster at best so we just requested a refund and left. The infirmary was a great idea but really poor execution with clue process.

Fun way to spend an afternoon. We did one of the rooms with 4 people. We struggled a bit at the beginning but then started figuring everything out and finished the room with just a few minutes left on the clock. (Presidential bunker room)

Our experience at the great escape room was great!! We had a fun time trying to figure out the clues to get to the end and get out. Unfortunately our group did not get out in time, but we got a lot of help and clues from the employee who was working! Will definitely come back again!

The most exciting experience and difficult to figure out which makes it more fun. Thanks to brian for the clues and he was very informative. Me and my boyfriend had so much fun.

I went here on a team-building event in January and it was a great experience! Everyone had fun, the staff were helpful and it was fun to solve the puzzles from the clues! I would definitely recommend for everyone but especially for team-building purposes!

We did a double date night for the Rob the bank edition and it was great! We are definitely going back, we have to conquer crawling through that door! Lol

My family are somewhat of escape room connosuiers. We have tried them all over the country. The Great Escape Room Royal Oak is by far our favorite. The attention to detail is incomparable. We will always be on the lookout for new rooms to try.

The escape room was really fun for my group of friends and I. We did the infirmary and there were multiple clues that we could separate and work in pairs. They only give you clues if you ask which is nice and were able to finish with ten minutes to spare.

Our group loved the experience we had at The Great Escape Room in Royal Oak. This was the first time for almost all of us to try an escape room and though we struggled at times, we felt the challenge was appropriate for a group of beginners. Definitely not too easy, but not undoable. We would certainly go back again!

I swear this was a great memory for my family. We did Rob the mob and will be going back. We had so much fun. I recommend everyone to go here because it was fun, so clean, and kind. I definitely will be back for another family outing as well as a girls night. The man (I forgot his name. So sorry) was fun and such a kind person. He was super helpful as well as great individual.
