Locked 460 Escape Rooms Grand Rapids

We had a great time here! We did the Apartment 460 room. Our family visited as a family outing with two adults and two children (11 and 13) and the kids were able to contribute and participate in everything. The puzzles were fun and interesting, with logical solutions. The staff was excellent, friendly, and very helpful. We even emailed the manager before to get suggestions and his response was above what we were expecting. It made choosing to go here an easy decision for us, and it turned out to be the right one. We highly recommend this escape room!

Went here on a dubble date, and we had a lot of fun. The staff was very friendly, and our experience was fun and engaging. We did not manage to make it out in time, but we were very close. Definitely recommend if youre into puzzles or mysteries.

Great family fun. 5 adults, 3 kids 11-14. Did the sci-fi room. Figured it out with a couple of hints.

We had a great time here. This was our first time in an escape room and appreciated how things were set up to help us along. Theres a TV in each room that provides hints if you are struggling at any point. The receptionist was friendly and took us through the rest of the room (after we failed).

This was fantastic! My group did two rooms, the Apartment and then Lous Garage. We loved the look and feel of the Apartment but the puzzles in Lous were top tier! Both were an absolute blast though and our only regret is I am flying back home and we didnt have time to do the Western one! We had a fantastic host as well she did fantastic! Never caught her name but give a bonus to the nice blue haired lady! And whoever Locked 460 hired to make Lous garage? Hire them again! Go here with some friends! You wont regret it!

This was one of the best times Ive had! The theme was great and the staff was sooo helpful and made it that much better! We will certainly be back to try our luck again. If you havent done one or are looking for a new place to escape, this is it!

Always a great time at locked 460! We just completed the newest room that was added, the starship Icarus a very easy room great for beginners and people who need a lighter task. But dont think this will be as easy as I am describing. We managed to escape with 1:29s left on the clock and we used all our hints. Definitely worth going to!

I went with my 14 and 12 yo and we had so much fun. The icarus room was very unique and just very cleverly put together. It was our first escape room and we were 2 puzzles away from escaping. The staff was extremely kind and understanding. We will definitely be back for the other rooms.

We celebrated my adult daughter s birthday as a family at Lock460 on a Saturday evening. The staff was very upbeat and cheerful. They took the time to give a very good explanation as some of our group of 6 had never experienced an escape room. The room itself was themed and decorated well. The storyline and clues were well thought out. We throughly enjoyed our experience and we definitely recommend an escape experience with them. The only negative moment is that you can hear other groups in other rooms because the walls do not extend to the ceiling. Don t let that stop you from going.

This was the first escape room for both my boyfriend and myself. We did the Icarus spaceship one which was decently complex but not too frustrating! Our hostess was very bubbly and helpful. The puzzles were pretty fun. We failed, maybe another 5 minutes and we might have had it. Probably better in a large group but still fun! However, It is a little hard to hear some things because you can hear the other groups.

We had a team building event at Locked 460 and it was a blast! The room was just the right level of challenging and everyone on our team had a part in our escape. Staff was really friendly and informative too.

I had a lot of fun completing Starship Icarus with a group of friends. The staff did a great job both with explaining escape rooms to our players who had not played before and with setting the tone of the room before we started.

Myself and 3 friends did Lous Garage and it was a blast!! Staff was very nice and facility was great. Thanks so much for a wonderful day!

This was a very enjoyable experience! My partner and I unfortunately didn t make it out of the apartment room, but we were very close! My only big issue with this escape room was the fact that they had decently loud music playing the whole time. This made it appreciably more difficult for me to focus on one thing at a time. Other than that, it was very well done and I plan on going back.

I went today and had an amazing time! We hadnt really done an escape room before and chose the saloon one (as its technically the easiest) and got out with just a couple minutes to spare! It was SO much fun. I believe Katie helped us, and she was amazing! We will definitely be back.

We did one room and ended up coming back the next day, to do another. It was a great place to have some quality family time. Weve done a few rooms at different establishments in Grand Rapids. All of us agreed, these were the best rooms weve done. The puzzles are unique, the rooms are well designed with really creative themes, and it was challenging without taking us to the point of frustration. Added to all of that, the staff is fantastic!! My only critique- they need more rooms, so we can keep going back.

My girlfriend and I had a great time. We almost made it out of the saloon. We re definitely going to try other rooms at Locked 460, next time with a couple more people. Clean, modern atmosphere with friendly staff that you can tell enjoy their jobs. I never offer reviews, but I was extremely happy with the experience

For my first experience doing an Escape Room, I had a blast. The room was difficult enough to keep us confused, but easy enough to find the clues. The staff was helpful and made us feel welcome! We liked it so much, we booked another room to do again.

I have done 3 of their rooms over the past few years and would say Locked 460 escape rooms are just ok. There are better Escape Room venues in Grand Rapids and worse ones. Ive done almost 40 escape rooms. My group made it out of the Apartment in 30 minutes. There wasnt much to do in the room so we sped through it quickly. It was very basic astetically and puzzle wise. Read full review was a few years ago. They start by locking 2 of your players in a cell. Well within the first 2 or 3 minutes we already had solved the puzzle to get them out of that cell. There was also a clue written on a random pen in the room which no one in my group could see. I asked the room guide after if that happens with a lot of groups and he said pretty much every group he runs. The puzzles werent very creative and again there wasnt much to do in the room. A lot of the people in my group just stood around watching because there wasnt enough to do. The Garage was a step up tech-wise from their other rooms but was also their newest room replacing the Jail Break Imprisoned room. There were some clever puzzles but also a few puzzles that seemed far fetched. We also were able to trigger a door opening with 3 of the 4 parts to it unlocked which was odd. This room was much more decorated than the other 2 rooms were. The staff was nice. I just think their other rooms need an update to keep up with the industry that is going more immersive and techy and each room needs more puzzles to fill the hour and to have more of the group participate.

My niece, nephew and I decided to try an escape room (their first time and my 2nd). They requested one where we wouldn t have strangers participating with us and Locked 460 allowed that along with good time slots for our purpose that day. So happy we ended up there. Our game master had fantastic energy and set the stage well for our experience. The Apartment 460 room had a great combination of clues to be found to get started along with a variety of styles of puzzles to be solved including some multi-layered ones. The couple clues we asked for were helpful without being ridiculous. We would highly recommend Locked 460 to anyone looking for an escape room in West Michigan and are already planning to return to try the other two rooms.

Husband and I went here for our first time ever attempting an escape room and loved it! The room was well designed and we had a great time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and we will be back!

We had a really great time, with 4 generations, celebrating my Mothers 90th Birthday! And had 13 minutes to spare!

My wife and two of our grown daughters took on Lous Garage this afternoon. Wed previously done the apartment a couple of years ago. We had a great time. The room was well-designed. It kept us very involved up until we escaped with about 3 minutes to spare. Weve done several escape rooms, and as with the Apartment, this one was well-designed. The gamemaster was helpful but non-intrusive. He gave us a couple of well-placed hints to get us over a hurtle we needed. We definitely recommend and will return again sometime to take on Wanted.

Wow! What an awesome experience. We visited my son and booked 2 escape rooms that day at 2 different locations, and this one blew the other one away by far. We were greeted with a happy face and everything was explained to us. We did the Wanted room and the clues were perfect and still left us challenged and not giving things away like other escape rooms weve been to. Just when we thought we beat it, bam... another room opened and the experience was too fun! We escaped with just 1 minute to go, how cool! We will definitely go back and recommend this to anyone.

Visited locked 460 with some friends today and had an absolute blast. The staff was very friendly, and added to the fun!

My sons (14, & 16) and myself played Wanted. We really liked this room. We have played several escape rooms and this was done very well. The staff was really nice as well, our only complaint is that we could hear other people in their room and in the waiting area. It popped us out of our bubble if you will. If there is a way to enclose the top of each room to make it more sound proof it definitely should be done. Other than that it as very fun!
