Grand Rapids Escape Room

CUSTOMER SERVER: This aspect of the business was really poor. I resevered two escape room, eight individuals, costing a total of $430.00, unfortunately I over booked. Only seven of us arrived. I had one staff member telling me its too much work to do refunds, and refused to accommodate (Youre at work!!). I talked with the manager and also got the same similar response. Read full review was too much work to refund. So, customers beware! You will not be refunded for no shows, or accidentally over booking. This doesnt hinder the business by a single person not being present or over booking by one individual. ESCAPE ROOM: Rooms were amazing, and challenging. Ill give them five stars for presentation, and the challenge we all encountered.

We have done all four rooms here and successfully completed 3 out of 4. It s a perfect night of hanging out and pushing your minds limits! The staff is simply amazing and wonderful every time we have gone in there and cannot wait to see if they add a new room at some point so we can head back and try our luck again! We will be back to complete that Pesky room that stumped us out in the beginning!!

Went here for Mothers Day with a total of 10 ppl. We split up into two groups and had a blast.. the two female workers there were awesome and helpful.

Had a great time here with a few friends. The pandemic-themed room presented a good challenge, while our game master, Evelyn, did an excellent job of giving clues and directions. Ultimately, we made it out with eight minutes to spare. Highly recommend.

Mi sister was visiting from out of state and we thought we would all try and escape room for the first time. We traveled here from Pennfield after reading reviews and were not disappointed! We choose the cure as it seemed more appropriate for our two younger kids. The room was hard, Im not going to lie.. we had no clue what we were doing but ALEX was amazing as we were so wrapped up in trying to get out we forgot we could ask for hints if we needed. Alex provided a couple hints to help guide us in a better direction and we found out way out with just 3 minutes left! It was a great experience for us all and Im glad we choose you guys as our first place to experience an escape room, you made it fun for the whole family!

We came here for something for our family to do together on my husbands birthday. None of us had ever done an escape room so we werent sure what to expect. It was awesome! So much fun! We all want to keep doing these. The are many to choose from. You are active and use your brain and it is so much more fun than going to the movies. Have highly recommended to many already and will be back. Good for all age groups over 10 or so.

Nice facility with helpful staff. Kat was our game master and she had a great attitude which made our experience that much more fun. Well be back to escape again.

My co workers and I went here for a team outing in April 2023. We had a great experience. The game masters we super nice and we got into our room promptly and on time. I only give it 3/5 stars because the escape room didn t feel very immersive or decorated very much.. it just felt super cheap. I have been to other escape room places in Grand Rapids and those rooms were a LOT better put together - and I felt like we were actually in the scenario we were escaping from.

Did The Cure room with two people. It was very fun and really unique mechanics as part of the room we hadnt seen before. Joanne was a very fun GM! Definitely recommend.

We had a blast! Our judge was awesome and super friendly! Great way to celebrate my birthday!

Brit was our game master and she was awesome!!! Even made us dance the Macarena for extra time, so worth it!!! I ve done 3/4 game rooms now, and I ve loved all of them! So much fun every time! 10/10 recommend Grand Rapids Escape Room :)

Came as a group for a birthday and completed one of their hardest rooms! Was lots of fun! Workers are so cool, we had Rey oversee our group, they were funny, and a ton of help when we needed it! Definitely recommend:)

This escape room was so much fun! i don t remember our game masters name but she had rainbow hair with matching eye brows and she was amazing!! she was so fun and energetic!

The first date my husband and I had after our wedding, it could not have been more perfect!! Kat was a wonderful game master and the Judgement room did NOT disappoint! We will for sure be back!

Husband and I did The Cure, did not escape but the game master was great and helpful. Lots of fun and would go again.

Amazing escape room!!! This was the most interactive one I ve ever been to. Rei was great at helping us out and we were able to get extra time for doing push ups !!

Great place, great time. We went for my granddaughters 25th birthday and had a great time even though we timed out before solving it. We were close and did well for first timers, at least thats what the young lady at the counter told us. I didnt catch her name, but she was great! A lot of fun and a great experience. I would highly recommend.

this place is a 10/10, i loved the experience. the workers are very helpful, i am especially grateful for Rei, one of the employees. my friends and i had got help from them and it was very much helpful !! i would definitely recommend this experience for friends and family, definitely will make memories !!

such a good escape room and amazing staff! rei was such a great help to my friends and i and made sure we had a good and interactive experience, he made sure everything was working properly when we got stuck and made our group do pushups and some riddles for extra time 10/10 would come back!

We had such a blast! We had a party of ten and GR Escape Room accommodated us. Sophie was a great host and very sweet.

I went here for team building with my department. Our team made it out with 23 minutes to spare! Ive wanted to do an escape room for a really long time and this definitely lived up to my expectations. Ill be coming here again to try another of the rooms!

We had such a fun time! We did the Dracula room and it was their 2nd hardest room and yeah it was kinda hard lol but we were able to finish with 3 minutes left to spare. Would totally come back and do it again. Thanks Bella for helping us with hints!

Zero stars. Just completed the hacker room which had a 17% escape rate which let me tell you why. The puzzles were messy, all over the place and broken. When asking for clues, the explanation displayed on the screen was so condescending. Several puzzles had been solved but the doors they unlocked did not open correctly. Near the end the, employee came into the room to explain what we had already figured out. But since the puzzle was faulty we re having to try different solutions. The worker continued...
Read full review to come in to seemingly mock us saying still wrong and then continued to explain us out of the room while we still had plenty of time. Additionally, the room was so hot and to get any air we would have to open the door to the hallway which totally takes away from the experience (if you can even call it that). I got a feeling this place is scam based on the other reviews I have read of people being kicked out for breaking a door that had a sign that isn t visible. The trip advisor reviews also all seem to be written by friends of Alex so don t trust them.
