Escape My Room New Orleans

I had five kids on my own. Our guide made it kid friendly. We were solving a murder case. It was so much fun!! Highly recommend this escape room. I ve done so many and this one was my favorite!!

Great rooms! Initially played the jazz parlor and had so much fun we came back the next day. We were very curious about the smugglers den, which is mostly in total darkness, so we played that on our second visit. Both rooms were very fun, very well-built, and great environment

I think its fair to say these have been my favorite escape rooms (and we will often visit local ones while on vacation). They are atmospheric, clever, not overly difficult but definitely not easy. The staff has been great. Highly recommend

What a great escape room location! We did the Smugglers Den and had such an awesome time that we went back the next day to do the Jazz Room and then after that the Mardi Gras Room. Ive done a fair amount of escape rooms, but never one in such cool location. Everything is located in a fully-themed house (instead of an office building or industrial park) so you really feel immersed in the experience from the moment you enter the front door. There was a nice variety of puzzles in all of the rooms- we especially liked that there was a bonus game at the end of the jazz room! Wadsworth was a great butler/puzzle master - thanks so much for having us!

the guy who explained the rules really committed to the bit. loved that so much!! i honestly dont think he ever broke character. super friendly and patient, and the house was set up so beautifully. if i was not just visiting i would come again!!

Fantastic escape rooms! Smugglers Den was my favorite by far. I highly recommend! And watch our for unexpected stair when youre heading to the bathroom. I fell right down them.

This place is a fantastic escape room! We were able to play all of the rooms and smugglers den was by far the most unique one and my favourite but all of the rooms were great. Dont miss this place!

We did the Mardi Gras Parlor and had a blast! We ran out of time right as we were close to solving the final area. Our host was extremely nice and helpful. Definitely recommend to anyone on the fence about going. We plan to go back and try another activity!!

Best escape room I have ever done. Misty was our game master and she was amazing. We loved going in as we didn t know what to expect. The decor is amazing. Then we did the New Orleans escape room with 3 people and it was perfect

Hands down, the best escape room weve done! Weve done a lot of rooms in multiple cities and the Jazz Parlor was the most creative, interactive, and fun room that weve ever seen. There are multiple layers of puzzles for those that dig and the whole experience just shines with a level of attention to detail unmatched by anything else Ive tried. These guys are great. If you like puzzles and unique experiences, go here. I know Ill be back for their other rooms next time Im in NOLA!

If you are looking for an immersive Escape Room then this is the right place. Hands down, its the most immersive experience Ive been to and Ive been to some too places around the US. I suggest you start with their Mardi Gras Study even though its the oldest and first room. Its best to start at the beginning of the story. Their blackout room was really fun as well, you cant go wrong here. Make sure you arrive 15 mins before so you get the FULL pre experience! Youll thank me later!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Very immersive from the moment that you walk through the door. The waiting room before you even enter the rooms is next level, and also has some fun puzzles you can warm up with before your room. We did Jazz Parlor and Inventor s Attic , and both games were awesome! Very unique and well thought out puzzles. Our gamemasters were both also great. We ve done escape rooms all over the world, and this one is definitely worth a visit!

The story was great and the room had surprise after surprise. Phineas was an excellent facilitator. This is the best escape room from all of the ones I have done around the US.

Really awesome set of rooms! We did the inventors attic and it was just hard enough that we finished with minutes to spare, but not so hard that we got stuck on any one puzzle for 30 minutes! The whole experience is really immersice, starting when you enter the waiting room everything is themed and really well decorated. The staff is very friendly and the process is well organized. My one small critique is that a few of the puzzles just required you to systematically try different combinations of answers until you happened to get one right, which Im not a big fan of. Otherwise fantastic experience and we will be back!

A MUST DO!! This place is not overhyped it is as amazing as it seems. Absolutely worth the money and time. Only arrive about 30 minutes before your time slot even though it says 1 hour. You can walk here from the French Quarter in about 12 minutes. It took me and 3 other adults exactly 1 hour to escape. I wouldnt recommend going without atleast 3 people total or make sure youre in a time slot that has other guests. Not creepy or spooky at all, good light positive problem solving and suspense filled fun. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had a really fun time. The staff there make the experience super immersive and really play into their characters. Puzzles were great with enough challenges to keep your brain going. We enjoyed our experience so much that we opted to do it a second time that evening.

My girlfriend and I came from New York and wanted to try out some escape rooms. We did two rooms here on the same day and escaped both. We did the Jazz Parlor and the Smugglers Den. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!! Crookshank game master was so much help and the energy was amazing and welcoming. Will def come back again! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Our whole family is fighting over the keyboard to be the one to write this glowing review. Much of the praise goes to the overall design of the room we chose (Mardi Gras) which was well-constructed with fun and challenging yet satisfyingly solvable puzzles, with several memorable aha! moments. But a big highlight of the night was our guide Laszlo, whose pitch-perfect performance and genuine enthusism for the immersive story was a revelation. We are seriously considering a trip back to New Orleans just to experience all the rooms this place has to offer. 5 stars for Escape My Room New Orleans, 5+ for Laszlo!

We did the Smugglers Den escape room today and it was incredible. Laszlo and team were amazing guides. The entire building is impressively decorated and themed. The room itself was equally well made with the puzzles being creative, challenging and fun. Highly recommend booking a room if you can!

Had the most amazing time here! I have done 30+ escape rooms in my life and nothing has ever compared to the amount of story here. Though the rooms and decorations of the place are amazing, I must say that the service here was beyond that. Laslo and Crookshanks were extremely kind and passionate about their jobs. They gave my group and I an unforgettable experience and would recommend this place to anyone! Though Im not from NOLA, I would fly back just to try out any new rooms and to receive them as game masters again.

Really cool entrance for the business! It was like a speak easy! Great rooms and wonderfully sweet staff! Will definitely go again when we come back to this city! We also had our 10 year old daughter and she loved it!

My family and I did the Mardi Gras room. Lazlo was the best! We all agreed that it was the best escape room we have ever done! Will be back to do more of them. The house was fascinating l!

My kids and I had so much fun in the Inventors Attic! Kids begged to come back, but since we are out of state, it s not possible this time, but next time to New Orleans it will be a definite place we revisit. Absolutely authentic and so creative my kids have been to other escape rooms and HANDS DOWN THIS IS THE BEST they had been to. Must come and enjoy.

We had an amazing experience! We did the smugglers den and had Babs as our host she was absolutely sweet and lovely. This was the best escape room I ve been to by far and would recommend it to anyone!

This was the absolute best escape room I have ever been too and I am boasting 54 rooms at this point from all around the country as well as working and designing rooms. This wins hands down. Milo was our guide and we did the smugglers den. Milo was amazing! And so much fun. The room was extremely creative with clues and was challenging in a fun way. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

What a thrilling experience! My friends and I had the opportunity to visit Escape My Room in New Orleans last weekend, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we contacted them, we knew we were in for something special. Even though they didnt typically have games scheduled at the time we wanted to play, they graciously opened their doors just for us. Read full review unforgettable. We played two rooms back to back with five players, and it was a blast. Both rooms were well equipped, and the group size was perfect, creating an immersive experience without feeling overcrowded. The games were classic but still packed with fun, challenging us in ways that kept us engaged and excited. The games also were part of a greater overworld being created in the mansion. Such great integration. Not to mention a brewery in the basement for that in-between game time.... We cant wait to return and take on more challenges once the remaining rooms are opened back up!

Super fun! Our host was great and we loved the secret access to the beer garden after the game!

It was my sons birthday today and we went to Escape My Room to celebrate it. We have been to many escape rooms before and we enjoy the experience of solving clues and puzzles. From the very first minute, this escape room was better than any of our past experiences and we were able to enjoy a very fun and memorable time there. The attention to details was incredible and the puzzles were fun and unique. If you are in the area I strongly recommend this escape room, it will be fun for everyone in your family and it will help you enjoy your time in New Orleans.
