Our guide Josh was absolutely amazing at explaining everything to us since it was our first time. we did Jailbreak and it was the perfect introductory challenge I feel for anyone new. He was super attentive and all his hints felt perfect as in they didn t just give the answer, but did a very good job at still leading to the right answer. super fun time for any sized group and I definitely can t wait to go back!
Dipper was amazing! We did the bank heist room and it was a lot of fun. 4 adults that have done a few rooms before but definitely aren t escape room pros. It was a good level of challenge without being too much. Definitely recommend this business.
Awesome place, friendly staff. High quality escape room. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience with a large group of friends.
We went for my friend s nephew birthday and it was fun. The first room we were in was pretty easy, then the second was kind of harder. We didn t pass but it was still a really fun time! The only thing that I would maybe update or change would be the water that came out of the wall in the room. It was supposed to spill water but it smelled pretty bad but again overall it was a fun time.
We did the Dark Wyvern, and I was expecting so much from that room, as it was advertised as very difficult and very technologically advanced. Although it had some nice features, it didnt live up to our expectations, especially for the price. They really need to fix the sound at the beginning because we couldnt hear the briefing at the beginning. Brian, our gamemaster, was really nice. We did the Grand Elven Adventure at the Westfield location last week, and it was much better. More puzzles, better decor, better atmosphere.
Very fun place, great for two-men dates, double dates, triple dates (they have some rooms designed for 6 people group). The wyvern one was one of the hardest and we recommend saving that until your at least second time.
Went for a friends birthday! Had a blast! We did a laboratory one! So many fun puzzles too! 10/10 would do again!
This place was so fun! We did the Jail Break room and had a blast. Made it out in time. :) Our guide (not sure of their title) was Alexa. She was fantastic- sweet, patient, and very helpful. This is in a beautiful building and everything was clean. Its also right above The Old Spaghetti Factory, so a great place for fun and then lunch or dinner!
It was amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys puzzles. We had a mixed group (some friends, some strangers), but everyone was helpful, inclusive, and I enjoyed the experience even as a shy individual. Jess, our host was perfect and very informative about the rules as most of us were new. It was exceptionally busy (Gencon), but everyone there was still very kind and helpful.
We visited Escape Room Indy during GenCon and did the Bank Heist escape room. It was a mixed bag. While it had some cool clues and scenes, it had a number of issues. First and foremost, our group got stuck on the multiple spinner locks - although I totally get that they fit the theme of a bank, the spinners were extremely finicky and complex. For one lock in particular, we had the correct code but it still took us 15min to open it because the spin instructions were so complex. We asked for a hint...
and the worker said that we were missing a part of the clue, which we quickly found but it didnt actually change the lock combo that we already had (which feels like poor puzzle design). They also had us in a group of 9, and it felt like the room was a better fit for 4-6. They gave us flashlights for the room as well, but half of them did not work so some of us had to use our phone lights. Definitely some cool elements, but overall it left us wanting. The staff was generally friendly, and it was fun to bring a beer into the room.
It was super fun! Miss Brandi was super cool and helped us a lot. We didnt make it but it was still fun. We did the KGB room which I would not recommend if its your first room bc it was super hard. The staff was all really nice and funny and we had a great time
My group had an absolute blast stealing the Mona Lisa in our adventure at The Escape Room Indianapolis. The staff were very welcoming and had us quickly signed in and in the waiting area. The drink selection was super cool and thematically geared toward the rooms. The Escape Room experience itself was great. There were a variety of tasks that kept everyone engaged and gave everyone a chance to shine. I would definitely recommend taking on one of their rooms in your near future!
Had a lot of fun! Jenna was an excellent host and really helped make this a challenging but rewarding and enjoyable experience. We made it out just at the last moment. We did the Art Museum and it was just the perfect level of difficult for a group of 4 with only a little experience in escape rooms.
This was my first experience with an escape room and it was mega fun!! My boyfriend and I did the Contagion room by ourselves and while we weren t able to finish, we got really close. Jacob, our room helper person, gave us insightful tips that didn t give away too much and was overall really awesome to have! He showed us the last few steps to get the right answer which was greatly appreciated :-)
We did the bank heist. It was clever and fun. My issue is the 10 people they put in one room. Thats four too many. Puzzles were challenging. This room takes place in the dark utilizing flashlights if that bothers you, stay away from this one. Staff is super friendly and pre-escape room drinks were great.
I took a group of Middle School students from my church to the Escape Room and we had a blast! This was my first experience doing something like this and I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique night out. From a youth group standpoint it was also great because it got the students interacting and talking to each other which often doesnt happen other events. I cant compare other places, but the Escape Room on Meridian is a top notch facility that is interesting, clean, and well designed. Our adviser, Stephen, did an amazing job and helped make the night a lot of fun. My students were asking if we could do it again before we had even walked out of the building.
Isaiah was our host and he did an awesome job explaining the details of this game. Safety was their number one concern so we were given hints about certain things not to touch, not to move, etc. The 5 of us joined another party and we worked well together although we did not escape. We were very close - about 95% completed according to Isaiah. We will do this again but we know the secret to this room so well choose another one next time.
In fairness this was my first escape room and we brought a party of four. I think they put a total of 12 people in the room which was way too many for the size of the room and number of things to interact with. The introduction was minimal to introduce the plot but didnt do a good job of explaining the rules or how to play. As soon as we started everyone started running around with no discussion or communication and I honestly just felt lost and in the way the whole time. I should have just hit...
the buzzer and left but didnt want to cause a scene. There really needs to be match making to make sure the room actually fits the party size and you dont get matched with people who arent at your level. The staff was great at check-in and after but honestly I wouldnt recommend this for a first time.
Great room! We did the Art Heist and got out with 5 minutes to spare! Lots of fun surprises and unique elements to the room as well. Taryn did a great job of giving clear instructions and still staying in character for the room!
As always, we had a great time! This brand of escape rooms is the best one we ve found! Our Adventure guide this time, Brian (specifically Brian with an i haha), did a wonderful job! He was very attentive and helpful. We will be back!
We did the Art room heist. The puzzles were completely underwhelming, unoriginal, and not well designed. Play have to solve a Sudoku puzzle, which is about as lazy as you can get with an escape room. The host kept volunteering hints even though we never asked for any. We finished 90% of the room in under 30 min and half of our group of 6 were just sitting around and bored at the end. I ve been to a lot of escape rooms and this one was pretty disappointing.
Staff are awesome and you can tell they genuinely love doing what they do! They were super accommodating for our group and went out of their way to give us a great experience. The space room was a great escape room, too
First time here with my wife, bro and sis in law and we went for the Bank Heist after finding out the Ronny Chieng show at the Murat has been canceled. Two-faced TJ was our Mob Boss and he was awesome. The room was super cool and we made it to the last portion but we ran out of time. Very clever obstacles! So many distraction! Would definitely go back.
We escaped the Dark Wyvren Mining Adventure room. We had a blast as we always do with escape rooms. Terren did an amazing job leading the room for us. I appreciated his enthusiasm and presence getting us ready for the adventure.
I did three escape rooms today and this was my favorite. It was challenging but satisfying because all the clues added up and didn t require a lot of back story or explanation from the game manager. It was just difficult enough to be so much fun! Everything made sense and solving it (with two hints) was really satisfying!
Outstanding rooms! So much detail and totally authenticates the experience. Staff is helpful and very nice! An absolutely must on our trip!
Have done many escape rooms here! They are well designed and thought out. Completed IU time warp tonight and definitely enjoyed it! Wilamena was amazing and deserves a raise!
My family did the Bank Heist escape room with Zoe and it was so well done. Definitely doable with 2-4 players.
We had SO much fun! The rooms are very well constructed, with high production value & very cool special effects, the puzzles were a perfect level of challenging -- neither easy nor terribly difficult at the level of difficulty we chose (& Ive heard they have some especially challenging rooms as well for the hardcore Escapers), & our game master, Matty, was FANTASTIC! Funny, informative, knowledgeable, & very helpful with a hint (should you need one). All in all, we had a wonderful time & will absolutely be going back to take another crack at it -- & actually ESCAPE this time! ;)
I had lots of fun with my FFA chapter. Our person working with us was Dipper, and it was great! I m so glad I got to have this team bonding experience.
