So fun!! This was my first time doing an escape room and it wont be my last. The staff was super friendly and helpful and place was clean. If yourblooking for somthing different to do I would highly recommend trying this place! They have easier versions if you want to take your kids which I thought was very cool. We are going to bring our kids back for sure!
Love this place. Great staff
Super fun had a great time. Staff was so friendly and the game master gives you subtle but helpful hints without ruining the game or experience. Been here before and definitely will come back. Thanks for a great time!
Molly was amazing and a lot of help!! Definitely had a blast for our first time ever going to an escape room. I was really impressed with the room! Definitely many different levels to it. Im for sure coming back! The hour goes by too quickly...so much fun!
Had a great time with family. Staff friendly and accommodating. The puzzles were challenging. Nice waiting area.
My family and I had a great time working together to solve the clues and escape. The stories and rooms are unique and very well done! Antidote & Cod3 were challenging and fun! Staff is great! Use your hints wisely! We will be returning for more adventures!
What would have been an otherwise incredible experience was ruined by a game master that wanted to leave early so they continuously gave us unprompted clues which were essentially the exact solution to the puzzles for The Code. Our team is its all about the effort. As you can see we made incredible time The puzzles were really cool and its hard to talk about more without giving away the solutions for others. But a lot of wow moments in that room were completely ruined because the GM wanted us gone...
. For context it was a Wednesday night, I had driven from Marion to Warsaw to meet a friend who had flown in, and then to fort Wayne just to do something fun last minute. They shut off the light and locked up immediately after we walked out the door. The room was really cool, and it was a shame our experience was ruined. If you dont want to have two people run your room at 9pm on a Wednesday, maybe dont post it as open?
Fun exciting and edge of your seat fun! Well run, well designed escape rooms. $30/person seems to be the going rate, but gets expensive quickly!! When your done head down to the Mexican Restaurant to celebrate your victory or mourn your defeat
What a great experience. We played Arizona Shootout, and my 11 year old and myself, were able to escape. It was so fun and not terribly hard.
Friendly staff and extremely accommodating when we had an issue with our Groupon. Lots of fun!
Had a great time but in the end we couldnt get out. Great way to spend an hour for adults and teens would not recommend for young children. Photos and internet usage not allowed while in room. This was challenging and fun
Our daughter had her 11th birthday party there. The group of 5 girls really enjoyed it even though they didnt crack the code.
Pretty good escape room. The environment is pretty and clean and they offer really great deals to people. However, we did go to their hardest game, I believe it was called Murder on the Express. . .a murder mystery type game. Most of the clues didnt help you formulate an idea of who was the actual murderer. Without giving away the ending, once you got to the end of the game most of the clues werent necessary as they basically gave you the answer sheet. Ive been to more complicated rooms at other establishments in the same area. I would love to give this place a second try though as the price was great.
Wife and I have gone here about 5 different times over the past year or so, every time has been A+ service and game wise, there was one time when we went earlier in the morning and it was a disaster. Missing pieces and poor service, not sure what happened there but it took away from the 5 star previous review.
The game Antidote was a very thought out escapology. Me and my sisters had so much fun doing this. Great idea for just something to do together. Our game master, Molly was very friendly and ready to help when we needed her. I highly recommend the one located on DuPont road, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
This was our first ever escape room and it was such a blast. The workers were friendly and showed us what we missed at the end! It was such a blast we turned around and went in to a second round. We did arizona shootout and th3 cod3! Absolutely recommend :)
My first experience was great, doing the Budapest express. But my second experience was ruined. While playing Th3 C0D3 2 of the puzzles had completely fallen apart, so that we wasted 2 hints and half of our time was spent trying to fix a broken puzzles. We ended up having to ask the worker because they failed to help us or at least notice the issues on the cameras. Lastly, we waited outside for an extra 15 mins because the workers forgot about us.
The big, wet and stinky game was absolutely an understatement. I cannot begin to tell you how horribly smelly the stench was inside the lobby. Once we were in the room and the game began, the employee said through the white box on the wall uh oh stinky and then turned out the lights. I m not exactly sure what it was, but my group and I were instantly coated with some type of substance. The female employee said it was protocol and if I had a problem with it, I could leave.
Im in the double digits in escape rooms Ive done and this one was up there in experience. Game master was amazing! Feel bad that I forgot her name to give her more credit. Things made sense when hints were given. Ive been to some rooms where even after a hint was given, we just couldnt connect the dots still. I loved the themed bracelets we received and now we want to go back to collect all of them! Recommend!
Mayday was nicely decorated for the theme. My group has done escape rooms before, and this was by far the easiest one weve ever done, even though it had an 8/10 difficultly rating. There were very few locks to pass between the rooms, so it wasnt very challenging. Then, the person who set up our room forgot to put a lock back on in the last area, so we bypassed half of the clues in that room since the answers were laying out. We informed the staff afterwards, and we werent offered any form of compensation, which was very disappointing because we didnt get to complete the full experience. Not sure Id return. Weve never experienced this problem at any of the other escape rooms in Fort Wayne.
I had Sylvia (or Silvia) as the game master and she provided a wonderful experience. Super fun, the rooms and puzzles were cool, and overall a great time.
My daughter came to Escapology with her friends for her birthday and they had a BLAST! I did not do the escape room with them so I can t say firsthand how it was, but I can tell you that the staff were amazing. They were kind, patient and creative. They combined to give my daughter and her friends a very fun, memorable evening. I would highly recommend Escapology!
Game master didn t do their job after they left the room. Said she d be watching through the cameras and wouldn t let us struggle too long on a clue, they d help out. If we felt stuck, the game allowed for 3 hints to be requested. Hit button after struggling with all possible things to decode. Game master had to ask a question she shouldn t have had to ask had they been watching. Weren t they watching us? We said yes and it led us to how to solve a puzzle. Letters were missing from the words, but...
we deciphered code. However, item didn t work after trying it numerous times. Multiple players attempted and it was checked 5-7 times. This wasted a lot of time. Game master had promised not to let us struggle and they allowed for this. We hit the hint button again and again they asked about thing we need help solving 20 minutes prior. Not watching again? We answered, but she still displayed the same hint we were given before. We had to say many times and explain we d already solved that. She learned finally we had the right code for next step, item just wasn t working. A different lady (not the gamemaster) came in and resolved issue. We ran out of time before 3rd room. Pieces also had to be put on a certain way, all except for last one. That one went opposite of all others. Afterwards, a third worker told us there was no way for us to have known that other than just flipping the last one. I feel like for how expensive this was, two adults and two ten year olds on kids mode should ve been helped more. They did not watch us and that resulted in wasted time. They also allowed for a lot of wasted time while on the correct path. This was a Christmas present for my daughter. She d done the cowboy one before and loved it. Said the game master helped them out a lot more and it was more fun and interactive for her. Both kids had no fun because they couldn t figure anything out. Too hard for them to interact. The third lady that came in didn t care at all about the beginning directions from the game master not having been followed through on. I m not for participation trophies or walking someone through something, but for $280, family should ve been able to have fun and not workers collecting paychecks in back rooms not doing their jobs. Very disappointed.
Going to an escape room at Escapology was a great experience! My group chose the Budapest Express escape room. It was difficult to put all of the pieces together, but this was the highest difficulty level, so it was to be expected. The group included kids, aged 11-17. The kids were quite helpful, so if you are thinking about bringing older (10+) kids, they are able to be helpful. My group did escape and had a ton of fun doing it. Some of the puzzles were difficult to figure out, but not too difficult. I highly recommend Escapology!
my experience at the escape room was awesome! the staff was super friendly and helpful. gabi greeted us and helped us through the room when we got stuck. she showed the best customer service i have ever seen! the room was super fun and me and my group will definitely be going back there!
The lobby is immaculate, cozy, and absolutely beautifully decorated. The room we did... less so. We had fun, but it absolutely felt like someone gave two guys $100 and a weekend to make an escape room out of a dorm room. Some elements of the room were damaged. Instead of a computer screen, displaying information there were printed and laminated screenshots of web pages. It felt like the escape room got zero maintenance since it had been installed. Edit:We decided to give the place another shot. The second room we did was in even worse shape. Broken locks, peeling decals, broken mirrors. I guess it was supposed to be the ancient Aztec temple of a poor college student
The host fit us in last minute and was awesome at his job. It was actually one of the tougher rooms we have done any where. Everything was decorated great and fit the story. Thank you for all the hospitality, we will be back!
Horrible Experience. We picked a room and requested it to be KID friendly. Our room was not KID FRIENDLY! There was absolutely no flow to the room, nothing made any sense. When we asked for a hint it would be multiple steps ahead of where we were. Our child didnt have fun and does not want to do Escape Rooms ever. This was his first time. *When I did a review on their site they said They tried talking to us when we walked out of the room- They did not When they said they emailed us about concerns- They did not When they said they refunded our money- They did partially refund ( I am grateful for the refund, we didnt ask or expect it)
We love this escape room! We have been to this one numerous times and always have such a great experience! We have done a lot of escape rooms, but this one is our favorite. The staff is always super friendly! We will definitely be back to do another room!
Our game, Antidote, was very well thought out; a great challenge without being overwhelming. Samantha, our Game-master, and the rest of the staff were phenomenal. We re looking forward to going back in a few weeks to try the Budapest Express murder mystery game!
