The Escape Game Honolulu

AMAZING. We have done many escape rooms and this has been the best. We were able to do Special Operations and Break out. You will love the interactions, and both of our escape rooms had multiple rooms in each of them. We had a group of 6 and it was challenging for us. The staff are great as well so make sure you save some time in your trip or if you are a local get down there. Hawaii 40 loved Nikolette she was the best

Great experience and a lot of FUN for the kids! There was 8 of us and we had a blast trying to find clues and figuring out the puzzles. The playground Experience is great for kids and adults. The Staff was Super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if it s your 1st time. Can t wait to try the other rooms next trip.

Sharanne did an amazing job explaining and helping us through the Timeliner! We loved traveling through time and figuring everything out. We had a group of 8 of us. Sharanne wrote all about of us little report cards. She was very nice and explained things well. Go try all of the rooms at Escape Game Honolulu!!!

Wow. Just wow. We have been to over 100 different escape rooms around the world and this is among the best. Completely immersive multiple rooms for all of them and amazing staff. We usually do multiple escape rooms everywhere we go and this was no exception we did three of them all three were exceptionally good. Particularly nicollet she did a great job of guiding us through the game while still giving us latitude to play and have fun figuring out the. If you do one do escape The depths some of the puzzle furniture in there is incredible and they really outdid themselves making an amazing experience not just a simple escape room. Theres a reason they have several thousand reviews with a 5.0 rating.

The BEST escape room Ive ever done. My friends and I have been to escape rooms many times, some good, some bad, but this was incredible! The pricing is completely fair, the staff are awesome, the rooms are so detailed it feels like youre really in the environment, the puzzles are amazing, unique and interesting and everything feels so high quality and polished. After our first game we got a little tour of a couple of other rooms and we loved it so much that we booked in a second session. Honestly cant recommend this enough, and Im so sad were visiting on holiday because we wont get to do all the rooms.

So much Fun! Big thanks to Normand who was a giant help and made the experience enjoyable! He even gave us 5 more minutes cause we were so close to the end, and he really wanted us to complete the mission. The whole experience was great. The room was so cool! Great props and design. Cannot say enough great things about the Escape Game - Honolulu! We had previously done one of their rooms, Gold Rush, at their Minneapolis location ~5 years ago, and back then were impressed with the puzzles and set design. We already suspected we would enjoy our time at the Honolulu location. We started off with the Prison Break room, but found we couldn t get enough and signed up for 2 more rooms after that, the Heist and Playground (so 3 rooms in 24 hours!) Each room had extremely unique elements so that the puzzles never felt stale or boring. While there were some challenging moments, the rooms are designed in such a way that you never feel stranded and completely lost as to what to do with a piece of information (at least not for long) which in my mind is the mark of a good escape room! Finally, I d like to give a special shout out to game guide Sharanne! If you are lucky enough to get her as your game guide, you not only get to experience her effervescent enthusiasm, but she also goes above and beyond to create compliment cards that she gives to each player at the end. These cards list exactly what everyone contributed to the rooms in great detail, and I think that is such a special extra touch that made a huge difference in our experience. She is the best, and I hope she wins another Tegie!!

Amazing Staff, they are all into escape room which makes it fun. Great rooms. Great puzzles. Open late. Just a fun time for enthusiast.

I recently had an incredible experience at the escape game in Honolulu, playing the Prison Break scenario. This game is packed with a variety of challenging puzzles that require keen attention to detail and sharp problem-solving skills. Norman was our escape game host and he was fantastic! I brought my parents, uncle & grandfather to play the Heist and it was so much fun! We definitely needed a lot of hints (my partner and I were the only ones who had played an escape game before) but it was such a well done game and the puzzles were really interactive. 8/10 difficulty for sure! Really appreciate the ADA facilities. My grandfather was in his electric scooter and he was able to play as well! We plan to come back soon! Thank you Norman! You re the best!!

10/10 speechless! The rooms were incredible & our game guide Nikolette was so wonderful, we are on holiday from Australia and it s one of the best escapes we have ever been too! The atmosphere, story telling & room design was phenomenal!! Would recommend to everyone

We had such an amazing time playing Timeliner. We ve played quite a few escape games over the years and this was the best game we ve ever played! Well thought out puzzles and just an overall fantastic room. Jesse was a great host with such a welcoming vibe made us feel right at home from the start! We can t wait to return and look forward to what this company has in store for the future.

Our family did the Heist at Escape Game Honolulu while on vacation in Oahu. Were all Escape Room veterans, having done over 30, but this one was definitely our favorite. She was very fun and witty, and her comments were very detailed and humorous. Her cards made for a wonderful memento. Overall, both the room and the staff made for a spectacular experience, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

I had low expectations but wanted to take my teens to do a family activity so I snagged a Groupon for this escape room. IT WAS AMAZING. Our guide Nikki was fun, kind, and hilarious. She definitely made our experience a 10/10. We will be back!

Came to celebrate my 19th birthday! The entire staff was super sweet! Dylan booked our games and was SUPER patient with us. Our game masters, We had Norman for The Heist and someone else for Prison Break (didn t catch their name but they were also super sweet). My friends and I had a GREAT time and I even got a Happy Birthday card! Thank you to the staff for being so kind. I had a really great time for my birthday!

This place rocks! My girlfriend and I loved doing multiple rooms here and Norman the game guide is funny and we have been having a great time. Would definitely recommend for couples, family, or friends!

We did the Playground and had so much fun!! Our guide was Sharon and she was amazing! She took notes on how we all contributed and read them out & gave us the cards afterwards. She also made a bday card for my daughter. We ended up doing the Depth right afterwards as well!

This was my second time doing an escape room here. 2 of us did the depth room today which was super fun! I previously did the playground with a bigger group. It was definitely more challenging with only 2 people but we had a great time still! Norman was our game master and was a huge help highly recommend this place

We ve done 3 escape rooms here in a week while visiting from out of town, and all of them were such a blast! Couldn t recommend more. And our guide Kara was awesome!

First time with my siblings and cousins and it was such a fun and great experience. Walking in we were helped and she was very nice. Our Handler for the game was Nikki and right away high energy, and just felt like she did have passion which was refreshing!!!! She helped us when needed and made it fun. 10/10 would recommend . We did the Special Ops room and it was fun! There were other rooms open and Nikki told us we could look in and see what the other rooms looked like which was very sweet and also made us want to do more!!!! ALSO before I forget, pictures and videos were allowed which is so great for memories!!!!

It was great! I had so much fun in The Depth room with my friends and our Giudance Master was so nice and helpful when we needed him. It was difficult as it says. Honestly better with at least 3+ people to almost complete it

We did Gold Heist while on vacation and had a great time! The room was done very well with some puzzles we had not seen before. Very fun! Our host Nikki did a great job and was super friendly!

This was our first time trying The Escape Game puzzle rooms and it did not disappoint! We tried the Timeliner room and it was very unique! Each puzzle was well thought out and our game master Jesse was super helpful with hints and taking photos afterwards. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming and there are rooms perfect for all levels of escapees! I will definitely go back and try another room when I get the chance.

What an amazing, quality experience! The rooms were beautifully put together. The puzzles were challenging but not difficult. We had so much fun! Mikayla was an awesome guide/game master. Special Ops was cool!!! Saved the world!

We had a great experience at The Escape Game Honolulu. This organization always has high designed and well rounded games at all of their facilities. We played Timeliner and really enjoyed the theme, flow of the game, and the use of technology throughout. What made our experience even more memorable was the staff. Emma was a great host to welcome us and see us off after our game. We had some great discussions on escape rooms in general. Our game master (whose name I believe was Indigo) did a great job with giving us just the right hint when needed and also providing us with a personal hand-written summary of our adventure. What a great touch! Thank you both!

We did the Special Ops room and it was such a blast. Unfortunately we did not escape, but the room was very fun. Definitely a bit challenging, but not impossible. Jessie was our game master, and he was very nice and helpful. He gave us good hints when we were very stuck, but also let us challenge ourselves. The one disadvantage about this place is that they book separate parties together in the same room at the same time. The rooms fit 8-12 people, and doing it with a bunch of strangers is not appealing...
Read full review to us. But unfortunately because we didn t want to risk getting booked with other people, we couldn t book in advance. We ended up having to wait for a couple of hours for a room to become available because people kept booking them. We ended up missing out on the room we wanted to do most, but we ended up having a lot of fun in the Special Ops room.
