Encryption Escape Savannah

While we were visiting Savannah we figured we would try out one of their escape rooms since we had done most of them near us in Columbia, South Carolina. We were not disappointed! We did the disco themed room and we have done many escape rooms This one was pretty challenging! They had a lot of creative puzzles! We definitely will try out another one of their rooms next time we are in Savannah!

Such a fun experience. Easy to book. Great staff. Unlimited hints if you need them. Highly recommend! Kid friendly as well!

A lot of fun with uniquely themed rooms! Walked up one evening on a whim and was able to get in immediately. Joined the room Hell-avator where youre trapped in an elevator trying to solve why the elevator is stuck. We got out in 40 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful. We got stuck twice, so we needed a nudge, but it was a lot of fun. They have 4 rooms total. Looking forward to trying those when Im back in town.

My wife and son were looking for something to do in Savannah after walking around town all day. We decided to try an escape room. After finding the first place we tried was booked solid for hours (it was a Saturday night after all), we went to Encryption Escape. They got us right in with no reservation. Staff was great and very friendly. The theme we had, Hellevator, was a pretty cool story and it was fairly challenging. We ran out of time but still had a blast. Id definitely recommend this place if youre looking for something to do in Savannah besides pedaling around while getting drunk!

I really appreciate them rescheduling me for Sunday cause I would ve wasted 70$ since everything was non refundable and I was not able to find parking anywhere the day of and couldn t make it in. Thank you guys so much! The escape room was great even tho we sucked at it lol.

This was our first escape room as a family and it was great! Davis and Grem were both very helpful in giving clues so our 6 and 9 year old daughters could enjoy our experience! The girls said it was like a real life Clue Game!

This place is SO Fun!!!! My dad and I play escape games all over but after playing at Encryption we knew we had to come back!! The staff is so friendly and the environment is welcoming! The crypt game is definitely a favorite but you can t go wrong with any of the games!!

Small rooms avoid groups of 4 or more. We went with way more than they should have allowed. It was cramped and 3 of us did not participate but had paid for entry. They absolutely will not refund. $40 to wait in the lobby is a scam.

My wife and I have done a good amount of escape rooms now and have only gotten better. This is one of the worst weve done, the clues spread throughout the room required very large leaps to decipher. The room itself I feel was not set up correctly, with items not reaching their destination. We were also given what I assume was supposed to be a misdirection in the beginning, but was verbally translated badly, as my wife and I didnt touch or get near the spot discussed. The only upside to this is that the staff were friendly.

We did Studio 31 it was my first escape room and I had blast. I was nervous the room would be locked but she was amazing. I would recommend to have a chalkboard to hold with the time remaining when people win that be an awesome end photo to do!

The theme of the Pirate Crypt was great! After that, everything went downhill fast. We have done over 100 escape rooms and sadly this one ranks in our bottom 5 in terms of design and execution. Our host seemed to be running the room for the first time. Puzzles had potential, but were poorly designed and most required a large leap. Multiple times we had all but one part of the code and were left to try random things to open the lock. Clues were not helpful and regurgitated what we had already figured...
Read full review out with puzzles. The clue reader meant for delivery of hints wasnt even used and the gamemaster just read unhelpful pre-made lines over the loudspeaker. We were hoping to play more of the rooms, but we will not return. If it is your first escape room you may enjoy it, but we would advise experienced players to play elsewhere.

Encryption does a fantastic job with their rooms! We had a group of 8 and did the Pirate Crypt. It was FULL of puzzles and kept your mind busy trying to figure out the clues. The staff were all friendly and ready to help with hints if needed. We ve done many escape rooms before, and this was our 2nd time doing an escape room with Encryption and will be back the next time we visit Savannah.

Had an amazing time solving a pirate escape room, had some amazing and varied puzzles that were not easy but not impossible and made me feel like a real smarty pants. Staff is really helpful and kind, Julia is the best employee no bias tho

We have done several escape rooms in the area, and this is hands down our favorite! The puzzles are so fun, unique, and really well thought-out. The quality is outstanding. The employees are very kind and helpful. Highly recommend Encryption Escape if you are looking for a fun, challenging experience!

We had the absolute best time. Their rooms are HARD. They will give you a hint if you ask. If you re used to the corporate chain escape rooms then this will be a welcome change of pace for you. We did the disco and pirate rooms and solved neither, but we had a great time. They allow drinks in. If you want a challenge, we couldn t recommend this place enough. Thank you!!

My wife and I made the room Museum last weekend during our trip to Savannah. We found the room very challenging. Before going there I was sure that would be easy and we ll finish in 20 minutes and after we ll go to bar. But it took 55 minutes to find all the clues by myself and at last we had to ask for help, because we were hungry and thought about pizza. The game master was very calm and helpful. I was a real nervous client. That was a cool experiment. I liked the room.

First escape room weve experienced and we completed it in 40 minutes. Was a good experience overall - four adults and two children. The employees were kind and welcoming, and explained the process to those who were new to escape rooms. There were a few different rooms available, and we went with the Museum Escape, which featured dimming lights as the clock ran out. Definitely a cool feature that came at unexpected times. We would be open to going back again for a different room when we are in town..

We had a blast with 5 mins to spare but we did it very challenging the people working there were super nice

Was excited to try this escape room ( we have done the other one in Savannah). Check in went great and the staff was friendly. An employee failed to properly set up one of the rooms which allowed us to move thru it without solving any of the clues and took at least 20 mins off the game. We were able to finish the whole thing in about 35-40 mins. They apologized but nothing else, I don t feel we got the entire experience and think we should have gotten more than a oops sorry about that .

This was such a well thought out, and well put together escape room! It was more than just figuring out a bunch of lock codes, it was very interactive. Would reccomend for groups smaller than 4!

First time my family did an escape room and we enjoyed it. Most definitely doing it again before we head back to Alabama.

Fun time! We opted to do Hellevator and The Museum rooms back to back. Creative rooms, first time with an elevator theme. Our game master was very enthusiastic and made it so much fun. Great price too!! This is the one I d recommend to do in Savannah!

I loved everything about the place! The workers were super kind and helpful. The rooms were also awesome, we did the Disco one and the Lights out at the Museum. Both were amazing production wise and challenging!

So fun! Great staff, very kind and very helpful with clues! It was a very clean and fun environment! We did the Death at the Disco and it was so cute , my family had a blast!
