The Escape Company Orlando

1st time visit. Got great deal through Groupon. We had a party of 7 and did the Outlawed room. At first we were a little slow but quickly picked up on it after we got the 1st couple locks. It was a great room, had multiple rooms to open and find out way out. The attention to details is key. We escaped with 16mins left out of our 60min timer. We used 2 clues and they keep a watch on you and chimed in when they saw we needed help. Would def do again and try another room. Interesting they have a bar and u can drink during your game. We did not bc we had kids.

One of the best escape rooms we have done!!! We did the Suburban Serial Killer and made it out with 37 seconds left. Definitely was a challenge but we enjoyed it and the staff was absolutely amazing. Not to mention you can order drinks while your in the room! Highly recommend!!

The employees were friendly. The room we chose was a harder room, and if we had a minute more, we probably would have solved it. There were multiple rooms within the murder room, and the puzzles to solve were decent and fun to figure out. Seems like there were loads of locks. Its definitely a good time with the family!

The staff was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know about The Escape Company. My group enjoyed ourselves. Even though we didnt escape lol. A great time was had.

Roxie and her colleague were very welcoming and courteous. Roxie ROCKS. She has a great sense of humor and made our experience for my family and I so pleasurable and we WILL be back. The room we escaped was so clean and well organized too.

$32 for each of us, including my 7 year old nephew! Did the pirate room a few nudges we needed overall enjoyed our family outing.

Our group has completed dozens of escape rooms, and this was definitely a good one. Elli and Abbi were both great camera supervisors, and made the room fun for us!

When we arrived we were greeted by a young woman and a gentleman. They were both very nice and enthusiastic. The woman asked us if we had done an escape room before. She tooks us to the room after. My family and I did the Outlawed room. It was challenging and a lot of fun. The props were nice and the room was well done. We really enjoyed our time. We will be returning to do their other rooms.

Great experience. Ive been to quite a few escape rooms and this is one of my favorites so far. Chris made the experience both fun yet challenging. Hope to come back and try the other rooms next time Im in Orlando.

This place is freaking awesome!!! We went here from a Groupon I got my wife and we picked the best one it seems like! We went through the nautical pirate themed room and it was so cool. It was difficult but fun. We were very close to finishing before the 60min time limit but unfortunately didn t make it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is the first escape room we ve ever done but we will definitely be returning! Highly recommended!!!

This was our first time ever in an Escape Room. Very fun. I would recommend this as a family event, with teenagers who need to get back in touch with each other. No phones, hands on , must communicate and listen to each other. I guarantee your relationship will be better.

Meh. I get Pandorum is the hardest escape room in Orlando but there were so many frustrating things with this room for this veteran player. The components of the room definitely need to be updated. The locks in the first room were difficult to turn and with the amount of work that goes into figuring out those combinations, it added a ton of unnecessary time. The paper clues were also worn and hard to read with the cheap flashlights we were given. It wasn t just a loss which I can handle, but a frustrating loss. In its current set up, you may want to look at extending the time. There s no hard set rule that rooms need to only be an hour. We really enjoy other rooms in town that are 75 and 90 minutes.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Suburban Serial Killer room and felt it was very professionally done.

We had so much fun with our group of 4 and got out with 10 minutes to spare! The Cryptid Crisis room is the perfect challenge for novice or experienced escapers. We will definitely be back next time we are in Orlando.

Update: Today 01/23/24, we were able to do the Outlawed room. Emily and Mona went above and beyond to ensure our negative experience from last time was not repeated and we had an infinitely better experience. The room was incredible and the staff was so friendly and so willing to make our previous experience so much better. Read full review into the business and inquired about scare Actors being the room, to which the woman, Susan, said sometimes there are people in the room and then pressured us to book on the phone. I told her I was going to speak it over with my boyfriend and then decide. We ended up booking off the phone and showed up for the room. There was a car accident on our route which made us 4 minutes late (absolutely our fault) and they accommodated us for being a few minutes late which we appreciate. We ended up not making it out on Time and asked if our clue master could tell us what we missed. We met with her at the end (she was INCREDIBLE) and she told us what we missed and I asked about how they can make the rooms scary/not scary. She explained and said that there would never be actors in the room to which I replied oh Susan said that there sometimes are. We ended up leaving and not even 5 minutes later, I received a call from Susan yelling at me and saying that I lied about her to the girl that was our clue master. She then asked if she could put the other girl on the phone to clear her name and hear it from me on speaker. Susan was so absolutely unprofessional and made us both feel extremely uncomfortable. We thought the room and the cluemaster were great, but unfortunately we are no longer comfortable visiting you as I do not want to be accosted by Susan again. We both work for Disney and understand customer service and I have never felt so attacked by an employee anywhere. It was so inappropriate to call me afterwards to berate me. We did the Wild West escape room, and it was amazing! Our group was terrible and asked for hints pretty much every room twice, but the staff was super sweet, and hung up a happy birthday sign for a friend on the last room before we entered, as we mentioned off hand it was a friends birthday right before. Also, when we were super close, they gave us an extra minute so we could escape. Definitely going again :)

We were a little more experienced so the staff recommended a room that would be a good fit for us. They were friendly and the room was fun!

Roxie made our experience so fun! She was so welcoming and then gave us the right nudges during the game - felt like phoning a friend! Awesome overall experience.

my partner and I did the serial killer room. our game master was HORRIBLE. he would actively tell us to do things that we were already doing, and keep reiterating such things to us. then i guess he was getting frustrated because before we had even finished a puzzle he had actively given us the answer and where to put it then told us and i quote you need to be quicker than that . it was a horrible game and as a game master myself i could not even begin to imagine just how anyone could think treating guests this way is okay. nobody deserves to be given attitude and belittled over not solving something immediately. IF we were to ever go back, i sincerely hope we never encounter that game master again.

Me and my family had a great time. We were split into 2 groups we had a bet going on, but the most important part was da team building skills we learn through da process. We will be coming back.

My weekend at The Escape Company was a thrilling adventure! We decided to challenge ourselves by trying out two different escape rooms, and both experiences were fantastic. In the first room, we managed to successfully escape, which was incredibly satisfying. However, in the second room, the clock got the best of us, as its famously known as the most difficult in Orlando. The level of challenge definitely lived up to its reputation, and it left us determined to return and conquer it another time...

Super fun escape room! My sister and I did suburban serial killer with the scary feature and it was so fun! It s a spooky escape room that has 3 rooms you ll enter and it s like a house. Emily was out game master and she was awesome! Thank you for an awesome experience! We will definitely be back!

We took our kids here for their first escape room and we all had a blast! We picked a somewhat easier room, Outlaw, and it was perfect for a few teenagers. The staff provided just the right amount of help so we didnt feel they were giving away answers or leaving us hi and dry. I would totally recommend this place if you have kids that want to try an escape room.

Disappointed because we wanted to challenge ourselves with the hardest escape room in Orlando and didn t get a fair chance as multiple items were out of place or just missing completely. In other words they must ve vanished as our game master told us. If I m paying $45 for an escape room at least have it set up properly

Want family fun for the whole family?We came with our kids (8 &10), 72 year old mom, and my husband. I was skeptical of escape rooms but we had a blast! We decided to drive a little further from our hotel and other escape rooms because of the great reviews we saw! So glad we did!!! So much fun and the staff is amazing! Call and book before buying a Groupon. Enjoy have fun!

Great place, great people! We got two rooms for a big family gathering and had a blast! The puzzles in my room (rated 5/10 for difficulty) were very fun to solve, some involving number puzzles, coded messages, hidden messages and even several using physics (youll see, dont wanna spoil!). All of my family from our 4 year old up to my 77 year old father loved the experience. The kids couldnt get enough of running around with black light flashlights finding hidden stuff for us...

Having the whole room to ourselves was a lot of fun, though I have previously had fun in mixed groups too. The staff was perfect: friendly and helpful, hinting us in the right direction without giving the puzzles away. I will come here again to try some of the other rooms. Thank you!!

Chris, Tori, and the other folks at The Escape Company showed us an absolutely amazing time. We completed every single room they had to offer during our stay in Orlando this week. They were so kind, caring, and attentive to our needs both in and out of the rooms. Super charismatic and awesome to work with. I highly recommend giving their rooms a go! Fluid puzzles. Great production in the sets. Fun times!

I did the Outlaw and Silent Tide room and had a great experience with both. I was with a smaller group of only two people, but the guides (shoutout to Abby and Emmanuel) were helpful and provided some gentle nudging to make sure we were on track and also brought their own personality which really added to the experience. I m hoping to stop by once more while still in the area and would highly recommend this place! My only suggestion would be opportunity to take a quick photo with some props from the room.
