A Harrowing Escape Orlando

We did it ! It was really challenging which I would love to do again. They have different rooms where the challenge is different. A really family friendly place, a little pricey but completely worth the money because we got to meet new friends and make memories with the family.

Just to give you an idea how awesome this place is, as I was placing my items in the locker they provide, a little light came on inside the locker. A little light. This wasn t in the escape room, this is outside the room for you to place your personal belongings. A light comes on because the owner wants you to see your items inside the locker. There was also a place to select what kind of clues/help you want given during your experience. You want staff to ask if you re struggling? Do you want the answer or given as a riddle? If they put this much attention to detail to something OUTSIDE of the room, you can just imagine how awesome the room is gonna be. I did The Woods and will be definitely coming back for the rest.

This escape room has great props and the challenges are exciting. The staff is extremely friendly. The cat is wonderful. The value and price here is just right and worth every penny. Perfect for my kids birthday party adventure.

Great escape room, The Woods was really fun. It was really well thought out, nice puzzles and good lighting. The beginning was dark but so fun!

Had a ton of fun! My family did the Lycan escape room and had a blast. The workers were really nice, their resident cat is super sweet and friendly, and we all had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!

My friends and I did The Woods for one of their birthdays and we had a good time! I loved that this location included an option to make a puzzle custom for my friend for a small fee and he really enjoyed it! The room was good, clues were interesting and we appreciated the choices given in the beginning that less us choose how often to get hints and how hints are given (straightforward, or in riddles). We chose riddles which was nice since we were desperately in need of help but it didnt feel like a complete hand out! Excited to come back and try the other rooms soon!

Great for the family to come together and work with one another! Even though we were all yelling at each other we all then finally realized we have to come together and put our thinking hats on! Location was great and we definitely will do it again!

Had a blast doing a midnight session! Rooms definitely had us confused and questioning ourselves. Nicely laid out and family owned local spot. And on the plus sides theres a cat!!! Such a good boy. Recommend the riddle hints (not hard riddles but somewhat funny when you are trying to figure out a puzzle).

This was our first attempt at an escape room and we had a great time. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was fun. The staff checked in on us when we looked stuck (we definitely were) and allowed us to get there with the help of riddles. We would definitely do this again. And the cat was adorable.

It was our first Escape Room together! We had such a great time! I think the storyline was well thought out and the clues were challenging. I love that the game masters will give you hints but only if you want them. The scary sounds really put you in the story and the rooms themselves were well decorated! 10/10! We will definitely be back in the future!

We were very impressed with this place! It may not be quite as fancy as some of the places down on I-Drive but honestly, we liked it better (and its much cheaper). We did Doctor Lycan with our group of 8: two adults, four teenagers and a 10 and 12 year old. It says it has a 42% escape rate and we are proud to say we escaped in 53 minutes. It was just the right difficulty level for us. Highly recommend and we will definitely return to try a different room.

Fun rooms and super friendly staff! After we found this place we already did all 3 rooms offered within a matter of months and are now excited and waiting for the new room to come out soon! Also love the back story of how this place came to be, this is not your big chain escape room and the love for doing what they do shows. And if your a cat lover theyre door greeter is adorable! But dont worry if your not because you can choose when booking if you cant be around cats and they will find him another place to be temporarily. Love this place, highly recommend!

Brit and her cat Embers were the great! Brit had a great personality and we really enjoyed our escape room. I wish we could have done all three we will have to come back. I ve done many escape rooms and this one lived up to the difficulty level (a group of 4 of us did the woods, and barely made it out). I would definitely recommend this place.

Had family in town and weve all wanted to do an Escape room together. So glad we found A Harrowing Escape very reasonably priced and so close to home. We had such a a fantastic time and are still talking about how much fun it was! The staff was so friendly and the rooms were amazing. Oh and they love pets as much as we do . Thank you! Thank you! We WILL be back!

My family and I did the late night lock in and we had so much fun! Would absolutely recommend coming here. All the rooms are original designs with so much thought and effort put into each one.

It was amazing!!! Im so glad I decided to take my husband here for a very very long over due date night!!! We definitely enjoyed working together to figure out the clues and so thankful you get unlimited hints. I recommend this place to anyone looking for something fun to do!!! It was even more special at the end when we got our photo taken!!

Absolutely Loved it! We did the Dr. Lycan room and it was so much fun. We re going to go back and do the other rooms as well. Kids over 8 would be okay in the Dr. Lycan room as long as they don t freak out about the jump scares. Just go already!

Absolutely fun first time ever. We got throw it in 62 minutes but we had the antidote and were unlocking the door. Can t wait till the next time.

My group had an amazing time! The staff was friendly and super accommodating. Our Escape Room game was challenging and had a great storyline. The staff member that provided us with hints was super kind and engaging. This was my first escape room experience and I m super excited to go back and try another room.

We Did medium difficulty in about 45min 9th place is not the hardest, but challenging enough to be fun. The place looks clean, and everything went smoothly.

This was a great experience. Our group did the lock in. The rooms flowed very well and the puzzles were challenging but not impossible. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you Brittany and Ember.

We played the woods and had a great time! We went with a party of 6 and had 2 others from a different party join and had a blast and were able to escape! The time allotted was feasible. We were able to escape in 42 mins. This is an all around fun and friendly environment for the whole family and the staff were courteous and respectful of the time. I also like that the location is away from the central tourist environment. Highly recommend this place!

Super fun time! The room was well done and it was challenging to solve. Plus they have an adorable cat who greets you when you come in!

Great concept and staff! However room needs some work (we chose the woods). Having been to other escape rooms- this location is below average in comparison. I could hear another group outside of our room talking while trying to solve. They are doing some remodeling also fyi.

Amazing experience the host who is the daughter of the owners was the absolute best. She made us feel like we were real people and not just customers paying for an experience. 10/10 would recommend and look forward to coming back.

Would definitely recommend people to try it out. It was a fun and amazing experience. Can t wait to see what s in store in regards to the room we have yet to play and also the newest addition that s coming.
