Escapology Miramar Beach

Stopped in one rainy day during our summer vacay in Destin. We had group of 6, with 4 adults and 2 kids over age 10. We did the Orient Express experience and it was a blast! We love an escape room and this place is so well done, very professional, awesome rooms and decor, friendly staff, and overall great experience! Highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

The place is run down. Minimal staff on hand who were very disinterested. The employee who set us up kind of ruined it for my kids. While we all know it is fake - she pointed out how bad/fake the scenario was which just messed up the whole mood. The helper in the room gave us incorrect information and no apologies given. Just skip this tired tourist trap. Topping it off, the room we were trapped in was miserably hot.

Was down in the area visiting family and they suggested this place for one of our night time activities. First time in an escape room but offered a pleasant challenge. Did have to use few hints but Morgan our game master was pleasant and helpful when we needed it most. Overall very nice experience, not too bad of a wait. Would come back if ever in the area again.

Came in with a group of 15 and the booking process was smooth and easy over the phone. We split between 3 rooms and they blocked the rooms so no one else outside of our group could join. Loved the vibe and aesthetic the moment I walked into the building. I m very appreciative they tolerated our rowdy post-margarita crew. Read full review very shy and had closed off body language as if she was new and not comfortable with the job yet. I also did not like how the Cuban Crisis room ended as I saw in another review. We escaped with 13 minutes left and we were very underwhelmed about the end. The clues we asked for were very direct and essentially told us the answer sometimes without making us work for it. The other two groups did not escape but they were nice and gave them both an extra 15 minutes since we were the last groups of the night. Despite my criticism, I will and still plan on returning and bringing more business in the future to try out the other rooms. Update: 2nd Visit and we did Lost City and had a wonderful experience. Everything I criticized from my first visit was improved! Very cool thought out room with detailed theme, cool mechanisms and Olivia was very nice. Changed review back to 5 Stars. I ll be back soon! Update: 3rd Visit Ethan & Thomas took care of us and had a blast at Murder Mansion! The phone mechanism didn t work which was frustrating but we still got out!

We had fun doing the Lost City escape room on a rainy day on our vacation. We had four adults and two kids. It was a little tight so I dont recommend larger parties for that one but it was fun. We used 2 hints and escaped in about 45 minutes so we were all pretty excited about that. Good puzzles, story, and decor to go with the room theme. I bought a Groupon and that saved a bit because this one looked like the most expensive escape room (per person) in the area but also the highest rated (which I agree with).

Great game!! Very fun, very interesting puzzles. We did the lost city and it was a great mid level room. Highly recommend!!

We did a booking with Sarah as our host and she was amazing. She was extremely helpful and was willing to answer all our questions. We had only booked one room, but because of her expertise we booked a second room the same day. The rooms were fun and exciting, however Sarah s genuine willingness to help was my favorite part of Escapology.

We did the Murder on the Orient Express room and it was so much fun!!! Lots of interactive clues so you need at least 3 or 4 people in the room to help. The facility was really clean and updated. The staff were nice and helpful. Would definitely go again if I was in the area.

Update: the general manager called and apologized that we didnt have a great experience. She offered an opportunity for us to go back and do another escape room on the house. No issues this time and the kids had fun! Thanks Cassidy! We did the Murder Mansion room. Unfortunately the very first clue we solved in the first room was actually the final clue... The thing opened when it shouldnt have . After 40 mins or so of working through the clues, the person helping us requested that we skip the next few clues and just go to the end. Overall, given the cost for 5 of us (> $200), and that the experience was disjointed and made little sense, 2 stars might be generous.

Wow! We took our boys for a birthday party here and it did NOT disappoint! The staff was friendly and the room was FULL of fun clues. We did the lost city and were able to escape in the nick of time! The place is a great place to beat the heat and work together. We will be back!

We recently had a great experience at escapology Destin. Our host was Morgan and she was very helpful. We were able to solve the room, but just barely. We discovered a cure for the virus. Very highly recommended.

Our family has been to many escape room places and this was definitely among the best. We escaped from The Lost City and really enjoyed the unique puzzles. Highly recommend.

New game, The Code: Cyber Heist - it is really cool! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Great for kids, mine loved it!

We had a blast at this establishment. Capri was our host and she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and that we had the best time! She offered help with a personal situation that arises and showed much compassion and consideration. The game itself (Cuban Crisis) was well established. We will definitely be returning to experience a different room and all it has to offer!

We were visiting family in FL and decided to try something new. Your game master Morgan was AMAZING, she really helped us out with the puzzles when we got stuck. We cant wait for our next trip to FL so we can try a different room.

Great place, puzzles were a little difficult but we picked one of the hardest (under pressure, 3rd hardest)

This place was amazing!!! We have been to sooo many escape rooms and can say these are among the best rooms, and the staff was incredible. Unfortunately we came in on our last day of vacation or we would have done all of the rooms! We did stay after our first room and did a second escape room directly after and our son was so excited! Both rooms were awesome and kid friendly. Thanks again to the great staff!

First time visting over the weekend with a few friends, was excited to try out an escape room, Morgan our Game Master was really amazing with helping us along with hints and solutions whenever we got stuck on a puzzle. Would highly recommend this place and would definately do it again when out on vacation in the area later this year!!!

We had the BEST experience at Escapology! We did Budapest, and got out with 3 mins left! This was our first time, and Cam, the manager, made our experience here absolutely FANTASTIC!! He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and overall just awesome! If you are looking for having fun time with family and friends look no further than Escapology in Miramar Beach, FL.

If you re looking for a fun double date idea or family activity, Escapology is a must! We ve gone several times with friends and my in-laws. Whether you escape or not, it s a fun experience! There is so much thought and detail put into each room. There are still a few more rooms we want to try, so well definitely be back!

Was visiting a friend and we decided to check out this place. Our game master Morgan was super helpful when we got stuck on a puzzle. This was an overall great experience, my friend and I loved it, thank you!
