Just Escaped Gainesville

The best escape room place I have been to by far! We had a blast and ended up doing two rooms rather than one in one night. We ACCIDENTALLY got #1 on the leaderboards for the second room. A group of three: two complete noobs, one experienced escapee. If you are trying to convince someone to go that has never done it before or thinks it won t be fun, SHOW THEM THIS REVIEW. We celebrated two graduations and the rooms were well set up and interesting, the two people working there gave excellent guidance and commentary and were very kind and professional throughout. I couldn t have asked for a better experience and we will be back may the 4th!

We ve done tons of rooms ranking them from amazing to..not so much. I came here with my kids to do one room. We were so impressed that we asked the owner if we could do another one. Both rooms, Swamp Mining Co. and Abducted were phenomenal. The puzzles and tactics were unique and you could tell that a lot of time and care went into designing these. Read full review when it comes to escape rooms. Who wants to pay $25 for a room that is uninspired and leaves you wondering what you paid for? This is not one of those places. If I could give it 6 stars I would. We will definitely be coming back to do every room as soon as we can so we can see what other kinds of fun ideas they have implemented.

ditto on the other 5* reviews. We had a great experience. We (group of 4) did the Abducted room. The owner was very welcoming and added a lot to the overall experience. The puzzles were varied and fun. We got a tour of all the rooms, and they are in great shape and look like fun. We will definitely be back soon!

Awesome experience, and I will be back to play all the rooms!! The owners are so friendly and cool, and Im thoroughly impressed by the care and attention they put into the rooms and challenges. This is on par with some of the best escape room chains Ive been to, and this is family owned!

The experience was super fun! The room was challenging enough that we were on our toes the whole time but not too crazy! Loved it! The rooms are designed by the owners so theyre not the generic ones.

First time ever doing an escape room with my fam of 4 (husband, 17 yr old and 4 yr old, plus myself). The miners game is the easiest level and it was a fun intro to this world of escape games. Kevin was super friendly and kind when instructing us on the different locks and how the game is run. He was very attentive to my 4 yr old which calmed her down cuz she was scared of the dark room and the timer situation but once we discovered a couple clues and keys were falling out she was excited! We will def return to check out the alien abduction room ( hard level) and the elf game come christmas (hard level).

Went to Just Escaped for the first time (but not the last) a few weeks ago. We had a great time completing the puzzle Abducted! The room was cleverly assembled, engaging to solve and the owner was super nice and enjoyable to interact with. The Game Knights will be back to win them all! lol

We had a group of 9 and did the Santas Workshop escape room. We called day of and they fit us in no problem. Staff was awesome and we had a great time.

The Study was a lot of fun! Well definitely be back to try out some other rooms. The staff and owner were very pleasant and helpful. I absolutely recommend this place.

I had so much fun with a group of my peers and friends here! As soon as we finished the room, we wanted to do another one! We were screaming with excitement anytime we got a clue right. The owner was the perfect amount of involved that we wanted and was so kind. He provided a positive and fun experience for everyone involved.

Words wont do Justice but still an attempt to mention how amazing Kevin and his entire team is. The place is super fun, clean, amazing setup and rooms. Kevin and his crew are amazing and exceptional team. The location is right on and they are very friendly and flexible about your time there and make you feel so comfortable and not rushed. I recently had two birthday parties for my daughter there and attended two more before that. Will be there going again and again and highly recommended to anyone from Ocala area who is looking for an amazing, friendly place for kids to enjoy. Adults have a good time as there is a good area, seating and ability to have food and all. Love it all

Had birthday party for my 10 yr old. None of her friends had done an escape room before. They were nervous but intrigued. They had a blast. Kevin and Monica were amazing to work with and they made sure all the kids had a great time.

Delightful Mom and Pop escape company. Weve played all their rooms, and just completed their newly opened Zombie room (spoiler alert: we escaped...with our brains intact). . Owners are very nice and always try to come up with enjoyable and tricky rooms. Highly recommended. Weve played oodles of escape rooms, and their offerings are always a welcome treat! Youll have a great time!

What a great experience! A great storyline and excellent staff. I ve been to other escape rooms in Gainesville and felt like I was abandoned by staff - when asked for clues staff would ignore us or the clues weren t helpful to the puzzle we were on. Here they actively monitor you and make sure the clues are helpful. 10/10 support.

We did the Tomb room and it was so much fun! Was our 2nd time here. Love the owners, they are very nice!

Just Escaped deserves every 5 star review it has received! We did the alien abduction room tonight and had so much fun working through it. The clues and puzzles were unique, interesting and well planned. The owners are wonderful and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back to conquer the other rooms!

We took our team to Just Escaped and we all had a blast! Very cool rooms (Swamp Mining Co. is the best room to do!) And the staff are all incredibly helpful and very nice. The building itself is decorated beautifully and the game flowed very well, though parts of it were tricky! Ill definitely be coming back to do more of their rooms!

We did the Alien Abduction room and loved it. It was creative, interesting, and well-thought out, and used a variety of different locking mechanisms other than the traditional padlock and combination locks. The room was well decorated and consistently thematic, and the entire facility was clean, well-lit, and inviting. The staff and owner were friendly and welcoming, and engaged with their guests. Overall it was a great experience and we will certainly return to try the other rooms.

Absolutely LOVED my experience here. I gifted this to my family (8 of us total) as a Christmas gift. We did a room together and everyone loved it! (Even my dad who admitted he didnt think he would like it!!) A total joy working with Kevin and his wife (I didnt catch her name). I was extremely impressed when I learned that they design the rooms themselves They seem really passionate about their business and I love that they are self-employed (not a corporate chain). 5 out of 5 | 10 out of 10 | A+ My review may seem super ultra mega exhuberant (which it is) and some may take it to be fake, but its not! I genuinely loved my experience here. Will come back again for sure!

Escape rooms are so fun! First time doing one again in 9 years! I did it again here for my birthday weekend and it was so much fun! Rooms are a perfect difficulty for most people and they have different difficulty levels depending on what room you picked!

We recently visited Just Escaped and we did their abducted room. We were immediately greeted by the owners who are EXTREMELY kind and informative. You can definitely feel and see the passion they have for their rooms and it makes such a difference. The room was challenging, exciting, and well put together. From the thought put into the decorations to the challenges they did an awesome job with this room! We can t wait to go back to try their other rooms. 20/10 recommend!

We just completed our second trip to Just Escaped - and it was awesome! This trip we were a party of 6, and we chose The Study Escape Room. The attention to detail (background music, lighting, set pieces) was fantastic. Those details, along with an abundance of creative tasks, immersed us in the world of The Study - the way a great escape room should. Great rooms and great hosts = a great time - check this place out!

Myself and three others did the alien abduction escape room today and it was SO much fun!!! The owners genuinely care about the set up of the rooms which are all extremely unique and well thought out. Some of us were new to escape rooms so we appreciated the willingness of the owners to give clues over the intercom when we asked, but they also said lots of groups prefer to use no clues. We are looking forward to coming back and trying all of the other rooms!!!

We have done all the games here and they are amazing! Really good game masters and the games are very creative. Really excited to see what they come up with next.

My wife and I love to do local escape rooms, this did not disappoint. We did two rooms, swamp mining company and abducted. Both rooms were well done and a lot of fun. Our favorite was swamp mining company. Kevin the owner was amazing and really made the experience awesome. We will definitely stop back by the next time we are in town.

We were in town for a softball tournament and took the team here. Kevin and his team accommodated two groups of our families. Kids ages 8-15 really enjoyed and were all smiles! Thank you!!

My friend and I had a epic time. I ve been to a lot of different escape rooms but this one was by far the best. The challenge was good but most of all the customer service was amazing. Our guide explained everything clearly, the staff was very diligent about sanitizing the rooms and the waiting room games were fun. The price was great and when we called they even offered us a discount code to use online that took $5 off per person mint . 10/10 and will definitely go again

This is the best family friendly escape room in Gainesville. Super easy communication and booking via the owner using SMS and email to organize a birthday party for my 12 year old. We had about 17 kids and about 10-15 adults. The facility has 4 escape rooms, clean restrooms, ample parking, AND AN EVENT ROOM WHERE YOU CAN STAGE YOUR FOOD AND DRINKS. We decided to do this for a last minute night out had an absolute BLAST! They asked what level of help we wanted so it was a good challenge (but they helped just enough when we caved and asked for a hint). Everyone was super nice, the facility was comfortable and clean. We did The Study which was perfect for a small group and we will 100% be back to try their other rooms!

Great escape room! We did abduction and enjoyed the room. Great puzzles and super nice staff! We do lots of escape rooms and would say this place has been our favorite in Gainesville.
