Gainesville Escape Game

Nice set up! But some of the puzzles were not set up correctly after previous use which wasted some of our time.

There were just two of us and we unwittingly signed up for a room that was probably way too hard (and spooky!) for two. Alondra, the staff-person there, was super helpful. She recommended another room that was much more appropriate for us, then also provided a few key hints along the way. We enjoyed the Crisis 2.0 room a lot and will definitely be back there (with some friends next time!) to try a different room!

First time visiting this location! We did 2 different rooms in one day! Well designed and super fun!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The amount of detail in the room and clues really made it an awesome experience. Well worth the price and I would definitely go back and try another room. We did the insane asylum one and there are occasional things that pop out. For someone who gets scared very easily I found it moderately scary but a few of the other people I was with were not scared at all. You really have to try it yourself to judge.

We had a terrible experience. We did the Pandemic room. There was only one staff member that was overwhelmed with managing incoming guests and watching current game rooms. It s not their fault that they were the only person there, but they need more staff present for things to run smoothly. We were asking for a hint for 15 minutes with no response. Finally, I had to call the front desk number on my phone to get their attention. Obviously, no one was watching us as we were in the room. So we wasted...
Read full review time so much time. Some of the clues in the room were broken or missing pieces. When I explained this to the staff member afterwards, they didn t seem to care. One of the locks in the room was put in backwards, which made it practically impossible to open with its weird angle. It doesn t seem like they actually check their rooms often to make sure everything is in functioning order. We unknowingly skipped a few steps in the room because a previous group had left some of their notes; we thought their notes were part of the room and this created a lot of confusion. It was my first time at this specific place. I have done many escape rooms, but I wouldn t go back to this one. We were too busy being frustrated with how poorly managed the place was to enjoy our experience.

Really fun, decently priced. The only real issues we had were broken items in the event. It wasted a lot of our time because we werent warned about broken items. It looked as though someone actively tampered with some of the things to confuse other players. If you go I would ask if anything is broken before hand. It happened to my entire group. Great staff and decent play time.

This escape room is definitely the best one i ve done thus far. It was so interactive and had the perfect challenge level. My group of 4 did the Asylum. With it being the hardest, we didn t complete it but we were very close. Master Mike was our host and he was great. He made the environment feel fun and uplifting, while also playing his role in the spooky room. I would definitely come back here to crush the other rooms with my friends. :)

We had an absolutely amazing time doing Asylum. Our staff member Alondra was super helpful and kind, and the puzzles in the room were the perfect level of challenging. Would go again!

We had a great time doing the asylum escape room. Our game master was Mike and he was super funny and made the environment very welcoming and fun. We definitely plan on coming back and doing the rest of the rooms :)

I ve done 20+ rooms and this was unfortunately the worst room I ve done (Asylum). The puzzles left a lot to be desired in terms of using logic and reasoning. A few adjustments and I think the room could be much more interesting. The themeing was very interesting, and the design of the rooms was very on theme. But like I said, to a well versed player they leave a lot desired and aren t really mind puzzles as much as they were just hurry up and wait puzzles.

Hands down the best thing weve done in awhile!! Took my son and friends for his birthday outing. Booking was super easy, staff was amazing (Steven was awesome) and made the experience wants us to come back again soon!

We were a group of 4 doing the Crisis room. We enjoyed the puzzles and theme a lot. Alondra was our game master and was very good and kind to us. She made sure the experience was good for us. We will surely be back.

We had a great experience at this escape room thanks to Steven. My group of 5 did the Pandemic room and coming from someone who has done plenty of escape rooms, this one was definitely one of the best. The main thing that made it stand out was the customer service and experience. Steven was great in giving clues and guiding us during the room while also making it funny and enjoyable. After we got out, he walked us to the door and checked to make sure the area was safe for us to leave as we are a group of girls and it was very late at night. He made sure we got to our car safely and that really made our night. I d highly reccomend this place for anyone and if you have Steven as your gamemaster he will make sure you guys have a great time.

Decided to do a last minute escape room tonight. Alondra was great both on the phone and in person. Would recommend!! Not our first time coming but our first timing leaving a review.

I had such a fun time with my friends! We did the asylum room and it was super fun even though we didnt finish. Steven was so helpful and made it an even better experience. :) Im so glad we were lucky enough to get him as our game master!

My team had a fantastic time playing Pandemic! Definitely one of the best rooms I have ever experienced. Alondra was a wonderful game master. She was very friendly and considerate about giving hint nudges when needed. I would definitely come back again.

Our person had a long conversation about videogames and anime. Cool dude and it was fun.

Me and my friends did the pandemic escape room. Even though it got tricky at times, it was a really fun experience for all of us. Also, Cat was amazing! She was super nice and gave us good clues when we needed them 10/10 recommend.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time doing the escape room Crisis at 1600. Each room was creative and difficult! Thank you Frank for giving us a great experience!

Craig was our game master, and he was fantastic! We did Asylum and failed, but it was a very well done room and I loved how much detail went in to the decor and theming. I do suggest opting for a different room if you are new to escape rooms, as our group of 5 had a decent bit of experience and still struggled with the puzzles. I will say the room had the minor inconvenience of not having a whiteboard. This is the only room I ve been to that didn t have one.

My group of 8 did Crisis at the White House this past weekend and had AN ABSOLUTE BLAST! This room involved a lot of teamwork and hustle, and we were smiling and working together the whole time. We were able to escape, but it was still quite challenging! Corey, who runs the company, was so accommodating to my group. We were in town for a short period of time and he managed to squeeze us in to the small window of availability we had. I cannot recommend this place enough. Next time I return to Gainesville, I will definitely be returning to do the other rooms. Thank you SO much Corey!

Lots of fun. We did the Asylum. Came close to finishing but didnt quite make it in time. I firmly believe we would have had it in 10 more minutes, lol... My only regret is that I stayed around when they explained the ending, as I would have liked to go again. Definitely enjoyable.

Brought my daughter and parents here for my daughters 16th bday. Steven was AWESOME! Very helpful, nice and funny! Pandemic room was a lot of fun. Thanks Steve!

Super fun place. My group had a great time. The person working there (Alondra) was helpful when we needed it without gives us too many clues.

From start to finish, our large group (of over 25 people) felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff helped our group get situated in the 3 themed rooms that they offered - which was a feat in itself since each room had different degrees of escape but we were able to get a good mix of people who have done an escape room before and those who have not in each group. Each group at the end felt like they had a lot of fun and were challenged. Out of the 3 groups, only 1 was successful but that made the win even sweeter! We are definitely coming back again to try different rooms!

My fiance and I went there and had an absolutely blast of a time. The person we had, Izzy, was amazing and awesome at explaining what we had to do and was just really friendly and nice. Definitely go here and play a room or two, especially when you have some time to kill or want something fun to do

We have played probably about 100 escape rooms all over Florida and South Carolina. We love to play them. We decided to try the America Escape Pandemic room. Had a wonderful time. The room was hard but not impossible. Every single puzzle was solvable if you thought about it enough. We divided forces and solved independently, which I think was a big help. Big shout out to our Puzzle Master Alondra. Alondra provided just the right amount of nudges at just the right times to help us...
Read full review along in our play. Seemed to get a feel for our play style very quickly, and reacted accordingly. Very sweet, very professional. She was an absolute treasure!! We almost made it out in time, but didn t. Fortunately since the time after ours wasn t booked, Alondra gave us extra time to finally escape. Can not say enough good things about Alondra and the overall experience. Will definitely play more there, and highly recommend this company to anyone. Try them. You won t regret it!!

We had so much fun tonight! Unfortunately we didnt escape the pandemic...but when the REAL pandemic is over we are confident we will succeed with 1 more set of friends to help us! The room is designed for a group of 8 and we completed about 85% of the room! Lots of fun and we will definitely be back!
