Escapology Gainesville

Was fortunate to experience Escapology during a networking event recently and I could not believe how much fun we had! My group completed the Scooby Doo room and (for us) it was challenging but not overwhelming or frustrating. The puzzles were so varied that each person (we had 6 in all) was able to personally contribute to solve a prompt so no one felt left out. I want to try some of the more complex rooms soon and would absolutely recommend this as a fun night out with friends or coworkers.

I went with just 2 of us playing and it was so fun!! The Lost City room was really cool, and all the puzzles work well together to make you feel like youre in your own adventure movie. Will definitely have to try some other rooms. The staff were really nice as well when checking in and running/explaining the game/rules.

This team is amazing!!! Thank you Liz for orchestrating my proposal!! They helped my fiance pull off an amazing and memorable proposal! They also made these drawings to add as additional clues in the room. I am forever grateful to you all. Thank you!!

We had a ton of fun doing the adult mode with 1 adult and 3 pre teens. We needed a lot of hints to make it through, but we completed it with a few seconds to spare. Everyone was able to participate, there were plenty of puzzles that required the group to coordinate so 1 person wasnt able to dominate the room.

Such a fun place! Ive visited in many different capacities (with friends, team bonding, networking, etc.) and its always been such a good time. The best thing, especially for introverts, is that the rooms are private. So you wont be grouped with any strangers, no matter the size of your own group! Ive done many different rooms with just one partner, in a group of 4, and a group of 8. If you want an interactive experience, I would recommend keeping your group smaller to allow each of you to be more involved. Sometimes, the chaos of 8 can be fun! All up to you and Escapology is prepared to give any group of any size the best time ever. Thanks!

Eric was great since the moment we came in , great attitude; it was our first time and he explained everything to us , so lucky you guys someone like him working. We definitely come back !!!

So much fun! Highly recommend! The space is amazing with really cool decor. We came in on a Friday night and did the Lost City room. I had my doubts that wed be able to figure it out, but you can always ask for hints (which came in very handy for our group.) Definitely recommend checking it out for a fun time with friends!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here for my birthday. We did Murder On The Orient Express, it was extremely fun. After we solved the first puzzle, with the next clue was an envelope that had a birthday card in it for me. This alone was one of the sweetest thing someone did for me. The room itself was awesome. They do a very good job of putting you in the time/setting of your room. The puzzles are hard, but not too hard where you cant figure it out. If you get stuck, your game master can always help you out!! I will for sure be coming back here to try the other rooms! A big thank you to our Game Master Abigail, and our Game Hosts Eglis and Justine, for making our evening wonderful!

Me and my family went to this escape room and it was a Blast! We had a time! And oh the staff was wonderful and they explained the game so well and our gamemater Eric was the absolute best! This was definitely a great first experience!

I ve played a few rooms here and all have been fun and contained unique puzzle concepts from each other! Orient Express and Lost City were my faves. The staff is great & the appointments ran on time so it was easy to just show up and get started right away!

We had a fantastic time! The staff is extremely helpful and encouraging. Our group loves the setup and the challenges. Its a great way to stretch your brain and engage in a great team activity!

I ve done several escape rooms across the state and I can honestly say the best one is in our town. Escapology Gainesville has the sweetest staff, the cleanest facility and each room we ve done has even an absolute blast. Our ages range from 10-41 and we all enjoy each room. The staff is the absolute best! Thank you for always making it fun and memorable!

Was so much fun !! Honestly didn t think it would be this exciting at first but i think it s money well spent! The room we chose was CODE which was a full on surprise as we got closer to solving !! Thank you so much to Justine & Ava L for being a big help and also making us laugh!! Customer service and experience was a 10/10

Me and 2 of my friends came to do the Antidote room and came a little late. Our host Liz was fantastic and walked us through everything we needed to know! It was our first time doing an escape room and with Liz s instruction we were on our way! The immersion was awesome and the puzzles were pretty hard but doable, especially with the great hints we got from our game master Mikayla. We needed a lot of hints lol but even with a 10 minute time deduction (because we were late) we got out with 5 minutes to spare! We can t wait to go again and try the other rooms! The staff was very friendly!

We ve done many escape rooms and were excited to play the Orient Express. This rating is due to three things. The theming was very low level compared to many other facilities we have been to. It appeared they were understaffed. Staff was rushing around talking fast and appeared they did not monitor our game experience. The main problem we had is a couple of issues with the puzzles. We solved one puzzle early and it did not trigger. We did it several times with no trigger. It appeared no...

Then another puzzle later in the game was broken and was automatically triggered l, but created a situation where you were trying to solve a puzzle that had already been solved . Lastly we solved a larger puzzle and it never triggered. Essentially halting our progress. It seemed once again that no game master was watching to fix the issue. When time ran out we were told we had we had the final puzzle right. We were also told the other broken puzzle had been that way for months. These make this a meh experience and not worth the spend. We were hoping for better but wanted to make others aware. Hope they can fix the games and improve the experience.

We always have a great time at Escapology! It s our favorite date day/night activity. Than was our host and game master this time and did a great job guiding us as needed. Fun as always!

We played two games during our stay jn Gainesville and as always had a great time. The staff is so nice and accommodating. We have played all of the games at this point but will be back when there are new ones.

We booked my brother & husbands birthday there for today. We had an amazing time. Matt was very attentive to our party! Will definitely be back!! Thank u Matt for all your help!

The staff at Escapology are great! Our group had so much fun we did 2 over the weekend. The Scoopy Doo escape room had fun, nostalgic videos that we liked!

Host Liz and Game Master Josh were fantastic! We beat the Murder Mansion with time to spare. Great family outing and we will definitely be booking another game!

Liz was so much fun to talk to! She is amazing and such a good spirited person. The games are so addicting and spent so much money within 2 days! (Shameful? Not really!) Totally recommend the location and their games!!!

Such a blast! Bethany was a great host and game master. We escaped the Scooby Doo Spooky Castle adventure as a party of four. :)

We did Murder on Orient Express and loved it! Although we didn t get out in 60 minutes, our game master Eglis was kind enough to let us have 5 extra minutes to complete the whole room, since there wasn t a group after us We were so happy to be able to complete the whole thing! We had a great time having our sons 12th Birthday Party at Escapology!! The private room was big, clean, and so much fun. The huge Connect 4 game and Karaoke was fun while we were waiting for their escape room time. The staff was very friendly and helpful too! We highly recommend having a Birthday Party here!

I did my daughters bday, and it was amazing. She had a blast!!!! I love the private room for activities, and they were very attentive and resourceful. I will be back at some time.

Eric and Than were great! We had lots of fun and luckily escaped!! Have done multiple escapology rooms before and will keep doing them since they are great!

Weve played all their rooms, and each one was unique, well-thought out, and deliciously tricky in their own way. Since they are a chain, they have the ability to invest in top notch props, and create a wonderful ambiance for each room. Our game masters were helpful when needed, and made our experience very enjoyable. Most of the time we escaped, but on the rare occasion we didnt, we still enjoyed the experience. Their waiting room is very comfy and loaded with puzzles to keep you occupied until your game time. Weve played escape rooms throughout FL and SC, and they rank near the top when it comes to the chain companies. Highly recommended. Youll love them!

An awesome escape room experience! I ve done many in my life and this was one of the best! The puzzles were extremely well designed offering a diverse array of challenges for people of all experience levels. The game runners did an awesome job as well and the theming was super fun! Overall fantastic experience and I couldn t rate more highly.
