The Escape Game DC (Downtown)

Escape Game was the best escape room Ive ever done, and it isnt even close! We did Prison Break after hearing all of the glowing reviews and were not disappointed at all - everything was carefully crafted with a focus on making the room enjoyable for people rather than easy to set up for the next group. Spencer, our game guide, was so helpful, friendly and attentive, and I never felt like I was lost with his guidance. The puzzles were a wide variety of innovation and collaboration, and we had such an exhilarating time that weve already started telling our friends we need to go together. Highly recommend!

We did the heist. It was so much fun. We were able to escape with 32 seconds left. The staff was helpful and the place was clean. I highly recommend doing this if you are in DC. So fun.

Great service, and the Mummy room was awesome. My 11 yr old and I tried to do it by ourselves and didnt escape, but we got close! Definitely our favorite escape room experience.

Great experience for my friends who havent done an escape room before! They have military discount! Would recommend for a group of friends who are looking to get hectic and use their brain lol

Jay and Destiny were awesome! We had a group of 10 new players and they made the experience fun and memorable for everyone. We didnt make it out of The Depths successfully so of course well be back for redemption!

My first escape room experience was a phenomenal one. Sam was an excellent host and very helpful navigating the room. The room was challenging and there were surprises around ever corner. I see why this place has 5 stars, well deserved!!

Great experience I actually had so much fun and being the fact that my fiancé is pregnant they actually behind-the-scenes made a card for us and everyone here on staff signed it and we thought that was very nice and kind of them. We stayed for two games and will be coming again very recommended and Very fun for the family or for just a couple please please please come. It is very fun and worth it. Bear in mind I told them my Fiancé was pregnant before we went in the escape room. By the time we came out this was done. No one had to do this. They are not paid to do this. It was out the kindness of their hearts.

had a wonderful time with my family, thanks to the man that worked the front desk! i unfortunately forgot his name but i remember he mentioned being new. give that man a raise he deserves it!

Thank you Reggie, you were awesome, as well as Payton and Destiny. This was our third and last visit with the Escape Games of the DMV. I wish there were more in this area. Now we have to put on our traveling caps to see these other great locations that everyone in the staff has spoken so highly of.

SO MUCH FUN!! Reggie was amazing and made my boyfriend s bday so special. Prison break was tough but so rewarding.

This was a great experience! My friends and I did the Mysterious Market. As someone with anxiety, Ive been nervous about trying escape rooms, but this was GREAT! You are totally in control and there is an unlocked door available to you at all times if you get overwhelmed. The tasks were fun and varied. Plenty of tasks could be done in any order, so a large group doesnt have to all crowd around the completion of a single task before moving on. I really enjoyed my first escape room!

I highly recommend prison break with two or more people. The clues are amazing but trying to figure out things is even better 10 out of 10 would highly recommend doing this anytime you are able. As an added bonus, the staff makes it even better

The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is extremely nice. Anna helped us get checked in with no issues and Payton navigated us through the room itself. The clues were easy to understand but worded in a way where you still had to think. Overall, definitely a place I would recommend.

Had a great time! Ended up doing all of them, thanks to the great team and the great rooms. We loved every second! Wanted to say a special thanks to Avery, this guy was awesome and made our experience 100% better!

My son and I did the Prison breakout venue. It was the 1st time either of us had done this. We really enjoyed figuring out the clues. The buildout was clever and intriguing. I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was probably the best escape room I have ever been to. We were here on vacation and played three of the rooms here. The mechanisms in each of the rooms was phenomenal. We tried another place close by that was so terrible we had to come back here for one more game. I would 100% recommend.

I would definitely recommend checking it out if you like escape rooms! Me and my sister had such a fun time with our first room we ended up doing a second one right after! We especially loved the prison break one! The staff was so friendly and the puzzles were fun and challenging! Overall, a great experience!

Peyton was amazing! He was super helpful and made sure we had an amazing time! We played The Heist and it was just the right amount of challenging but very interactive! Loved our time here this Sunday.

David and Jay were awesome! My group of forensic psychology grad friends came to play Prison Break and it was a blast! David knew just when to give us some help that we needed and we made an escape with 8:46 left! The game was very atmospheric and action packed the whole way through! A great thing to do when in Penn Quarter! I ll be back!:)

Aileen, Avery and Chantay were spectacular! Our first visit to DC and we are big Escape Room Fans and we had a blast! These were by far some of the best rooms we have done. Avery called when we were on our way to let us know they were ready early for us as soon as we arrived. We had so much fun in the first room Depths and Chantay showed us a sneak preview of the Prison Break and SOLD! We stayed and did another one back to back! Aileen was a great host...we struggled a bit on that one Thanks so much to the three of you for making this such a fun experience for our family.

It s very fun and makes you think. Danie ( our game master) was so helpful! She really knows how give you great hints without telling you everything and Jay gave great customer service

We went for my sister s birthday and completed the Depths room. It was such a fun and unique escape room Danie and Jay were awesome and made the game such an incredible experience. We will definitely be back again!

Had a great time with Autry in Special Ops what a intense experience. Wonderful time with our crew and with the help of Reggie in Prison Break we definitely knew we were in the right place to escape. Payton had awesome energy as well as clues in the Heist which was so cool and daring. Destiny took care of us while we waited patiently for each game and we will definitely remember the fun that was had.

One of the best escape rooms I ve been to out of the dozen + I ve checked out casually over the years. Unique puzzles, really enjoyable experience! Danie and Jay really made the experience all the better. Would recommend

We had a great experience for our son s 9th birthday with his friends. We didn t escape in time, but had a blast anyway. Everything is well-maintained and the puzzles are creative and a lot of fun. Super friendly and kind staff. (Note: my clumsy fingers accidentally hit 4 stars originally by accident. Fixed!)
