My 10 year old son and I completed the Death Row room in 59 minutes and 59 seconds. Just barely passing! It was a challenge for the 2 of us and we had some hints thrown our way. Super fun and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Made for a great experience. Was sweating towards the end, because we didnt think we were going to make it.

We had a terrific double date here! We chose the Death Row escape room. It was challenging and fun! We had a blast!! There were lots of puzzles and unlimited clues, if you needed. James was a great help and super friendly! We will definitely be back to try the other rooms!

Had a great time. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We did the lost kingdom with another group. Liked it so much we asked if we could do death row just the 2 of us. Lost kingdom is more intellectual while death row is more skilled. We have done approx 30 rooms. We havent escaped 4 and one is death row. He let us continue and we got out 2 minutes after the timer was up and the criminal actually got gassed. The decor is beautiful and it is well thought out. Cant wait for steam punk to open.

The Steampunk room is one of the best rooms i have ever done (at this point Im between 20-25 rooms in Colorado alone). A little technical but i should point out that that should excite you and not scare you. The puzzles are very unique and for the most part are original designs from the owner! Very cool, give it a shot!

We enjoyed the Death Row room as part of a group of eight. Our group of six was paired with an additional 2. The room was very well put together and provided a fun challenge without being too frustrating. The coordinator was helpful in nudging us in the right direction when necessary. I would highly recommend this room to any group looking for a fun activity that doesnt break the bank. Good job!

Everything about this experience was amazing! The service, the room, the puzzles were all so great! I did this as a date night and it was only me and my boyfriend. We did the Death Row room and it was so well thought out and challenging. If youre looking for a fun mental challenge, check this place out!

This was my groups first escape room and we had a blast! We did Death row and although we didnt manage to escape, we still had fun. The employee was very helpful and kind and he offered clues when we were struggling. I would definitely do it again here.

Tl;dr : great escape rooms, have to try if youre into or even interested! Our first timer and experienced all enjoyed it. Thank you for a great time! I was in aurora with some friends when we decided to visit another friend in springs and go to an escape room together. We were googling to decide on which one to go to when we found a deal on groupon - gave this place a call, and we were set for the intermediate room with a great deal. We got there, played the room, and really enjoyed ourselves...
- even set the new record! Great experience, but the thing is we really wanted to try their advanced room (the Death Row) because 3 out of 4 of us were experienced (Ive done at least 10 escape rooms). It was almost the end of the day, though, and the room wasnt available until the next day, which is why we settled for the other room. Dont take me wrong, it was an amazing room, we just like the challenge. Afterwards, we started to talk with them and after mentioning that we drove 1 hour to try their rooms, they decided to be super generous and let us do the advanced room -at the same price even! We had to do it, and it indeed was a superb room that made us really think. Other reviews about it is right, its one of those must-try rooms if you enjoy escape rooms. This place was amazing with friend staff and everything. Definitely worth the drive, we will be going back when their new room (steamboat) opens up!

1st time: We did the lost kingdom. Guy who gives us hints left mid game without telling us. We were asking for hints and no one answered. We still finished on time with 7 minutes to spare, we were just very confused to the Game master left. 2nd time: We did death row. We werent a huge fan of this room, some of the puzzles felt unfair as we didnt have any background knowledge on how to solve it. We were also put with other people, which we arent a big fan of but oh well. The game master gave us...
hints to puzzles we already did/ what we already know. Wouldve got out if people we were with quit fiddling with the final lock as we were one number off. 3rd time: We did steampunk time machine. We were excited for this room, we couldnt do one of the puzzles though because the light was too weak to activate it. The game master counted the bypass as a hint so we didnt get the record even though we didnt ask for a hint. We did enjoy this room the most out of all of them. Overall: I would say Pikes Peak Escape Rooms are a good starting room to play for people who are new to escape rooms. However, people whove done a bunch of rooms will not enjoy this place very much. The decorations are pretty mediocre, but some of the puzzles were unique and enjoyable.

A hidden little gem. Its a bit hard to find, but the staff really makes it a welcoming experience. We went with our family of 4 including a 15 and 7 year old. We chose the Headless Horseman room for the level of difficulty. The fully immersive room made for a great time. The solution was quite fun and everyone in our family contributed to the success. I would definitely recommend this if youre looking for a great staff of employees and a very customer friendly experience.

Had a group of 8 teenagers for a party. The kids said they had a great time, clues and puzzles were fun and informative. They all said they learned something (how to read an abacus and read some hieroglyphics). There was some comments that the room got really hot and a little close quarters for the 8 of them. Booking online was a breeze and very convenient. Would definitely come back.

It was fun. I did the room with just my 10 year old daughter and it was the hardest room .... We didnt get out in under 60 mins but she said we could keep playing until we got out which was so cool. Reasonable price, great room and a lot of fun!

This was my first experience with an escape room. The theme was intriguing and the clues were fun and surprising. Im only giving this three stars because the experience was diminished by having to share the escape room with four other people. The other four were a bit pushy and took over. The experience didnt feel very collaborative and I felt like any time I could have walked out of the room and it just wouldnt have been a big deal. Would rather pay a little more and be with my group rather than strangers.

The best escape room Ive ever done! We had 6 of us in the group, and there was enough fun challenges & puzzles to keep us all engaged and having fun-yet not to much where a small group would be at a disadvantage. Price was extremely reasonable and the staff do their best to create the best, most fun experience possible. Absolutely LOVED it and will be back to do the rest of the rooms.

I have done a couple rooms at this facility and I have to say I love this team! The rooms have great variety and quantity of puzzles so everyone can find a way to be involved. Their steam punk room is one of a kind. So well crafted with perfect flow and beautiful design. I do suggest doing the steam punk room after having moderate escape room experience; that ensures getting the full incredible experience this room provides. Thanks Pikes Peak Escape Rooms.

It was our second time in an escape room but first time with our kids (9 and 6yrs). We absolutely loved it! We had so much fun. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible and kept both kids engaged. It was not scary at all so we highly recommend this for families with young children. We didnt even get out the front door, the kids were already begging to go try all the other themes. I think theyre hooked!!!

Death Row was an awesome room! Didnt quite make it but it was one of the most fun and unique rooms weve been to! Owner has some really cool pieces from the Canon City Prison in the lobby that are interesting! Well be back to complete the other rooms! James was really great as well, appreciate the great experience!

We had a great time! This was our first time doing an escape room and it was so much fun. The puzzles were challenging and the story was fun (we did Lost Kingdom) and the owners were very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back for the other rooms!

Went with 4 adults & 5 kids to attack the Lost Kingdom room - it was so much fun. The kids were brilliant. We had to ask for a few clues but were able to finish in 52 minutes. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic family event- engaging all ages. We loved the creativity, many details and kindness of the staff. Had read many reviews before deciding on Pikes Peak Escape Rooms for our first experience- definitely delivered all and more we had hoped! We will definitely be back!

This was the first escape room experience for most in our group (my sister did it one time before), and my son and I are now hooked! Im sorry I didnt get the name of the woman working that day, but she couldnt have been nicer or more patient. She absolutely was a big part of why we enjoyed our adventure so much. My son and I were in Colorado Springs on vacation, and the escape room was the last thing we did before getting on the road to head home, and it was the perfect end to an already fabulous vacation.

We had a great time. We did the Lost Kingdom room. Not terribly difficult and not scary at all. If only we would have had 10 more minutes. The hints really helped us along the way too. Totally recommend!

I have now done two of the rooms at this place. I ve done quite a few escape games at a variety of places. I enjoyed both games very much ( Steampunk and Death Row). Both were possible and the puzzle make sense. I love the technology used in steampunk. It did not have a single lock or key, it was all puzzles that were tied to electronic and did a variety of things. You do not need to be techy to do this though. I highly recommend.

My wife and I had the pleasure of attempting the Steampunk room on our recent trip to Colorado Springs. We enjoy the challenge of escape rooms, and Steampunk did not disappoint. We loved the backstory attaching the room to Nikola Tesla. The puzzles in the room were very original. One of the most inventive rooms I have ever played. I would love to try some of the other rooms the next time we visit.

We had a FANTASTIC time at the PP Escape Room! There were surprises around every corner! The staffer was so helpful and clear in the clues we received. It was a great way to celebrate a birthday (ages 11 to 70!). Kuddos to the owners and creators of this escape room. We didnt solve the mystery but it was ok. We plan to return again soon.

This was a really fun experience for the kids and I (5 teenagers!). We didnt know what to expect but once we started figuring it out we almost finished it within the hour! Luckily they allowed us time to finish which took another 30 minutes! Now that we know what to expect we will be back and finish within the hour! There are 2 rooms. You have to use the clues to open boxes with more clues to get into the second room. Keep track of your time and work together!

Staff was awesome. I had 3 teenage girls with me and they loved it. It was such a wonderful time watching work together and NOT once did anyway get upset or left out!!! They rocked it. The only thing that should be considered, is a little more realistic for the walls.

Our group had a great time! Some escape rooms are cheap and cheesy, but this place did it right! The bonus is that they dont dock for clues so you can have as many as you need. Will definitely go back and try another room.

This was our first experience as a family doing an escape room and we enjoyed it. A quick heads up on to other customers of Pikes Peak Escape Room. Our GPS got us to the address okay but werent too sure we found the right location. The escape room is located in a basis office building and you needed to have a code to get in. We tried using the directory and paging system on the outside of the building but had no luck. Were glad we arrived early because we had to look up the business online and call them directly.

The staff was really friendly; a very sweet girl who was attentive and polite. This was a fun family outing for a birthday party! The room was tricky! This was a great way for team building and working together as a family and between friends.
