Escaped In Time Colorado Springs

We enjoy a good escape room however $150 for 2 kids and 2 adults is insane. To top it off, the room wasnt even fully ready for us. We found things sitting out and doors already unlocked. We were 10 minutes from finishing and werent able to just knock it out like other places allow. Wont be returning.

We did the Over the Rainbow room...it was a very fun room with some unique technology features that we had never seen before! The puzzles made sense and room was a blast! We were concerned that it was for kids but it can definitely be enjoyed by adults and kids.

Oliver was great. Sweet Dreams is a fantastic room. Highly recommend. Will definitely return

We flew in and spent the entire week going to every escape room in Colorado Springs and Escaped in Time is hands down number 1. Intricate room builds, amazing story lines, unique puzzles. Unlike any rooms we have ever been in anywhere.

So we do a ton of escape rooms and we did the sweet dreams. We failed but honestly Even if we had solved the room we would not have been impressed. There were so many things that required blind guessing in correlating clues to locks that using logic didnt help. My husband said it well. This was a spaghetti room. Throw everything at the wall and see what sticks. We think there were a few good puzzles in there, but overall the entire experience left us feeling unsatisfied

Did Sweet Dreams as a duo and it was an excellent room. It had plenty of surprises and a few complex solves. Everything was highly on theme and flowed well. Came back and did Birds Arent Real with a team of 5 and it was also a blast! Not as many surprises along the way, but a spacious, well done room. They are very serious with their records and the introduction is very long-winded, almost tiring. You are actually locked in these rooms and given a key in case of an emergency. Definitely not an ideal format. Overall I recommend Escaped In Time

Have played all three rooms and weve enjoyed them all. Family that runs the business really cares about their room quality and customer service. Best room hands down is Bump in the Night, awesome design. Were all mad here, was the hardest room for us, but still fun. Update- 7/17/23 Weve gone back and played birds arent real and Over the Rainbow. Birds was difficult but a lot of fun. We did escape by the skin of our teeth, but it was a real hustle and challenge. That was when it was a 90 min room...
Read full review. Its only 60 now, so Im guessing they scaled the puzzles down. Rainbow was cute but is definitely an easier starter room. No clues needed and we blasted through with plenty of time left. Probably top 5 easiest room weve ever done. Cool props and story, though. I can see younger ones really enjoying it. If they build anything else, we will be back again!

This place is amazing. My husband and I just completed the Alice room, we are all mad in here. It was a beautiful room, the props were great, the room was painted in Alice in wonderland theme. I like that it had tech like magnetic locks. The owners were quite friendly. We love that its family owned. Since we loved the first so much, we did the second and have booked for the 3rd. All 3 rooms in one day. I cant rave enough about how great this place is, rooms and staff wise. The rooms are capable with 2 people. I highly recommend and I hope they come out with more, if so we will definitely be back

We really loved the escape room and the staff that helped us. It was so fun and great visual for the sweet dreams escape room. We definitely recommend, would go again.

We loved the first room we did so much we just had to do all three!! Ryan and Justin were awesome game masters! I still can t decide which of the 3 rooms was my favorite. Such good themes, designs and puzzles!!

Wizard of Oz Room - We missed it by a minute - The staff that evening did not seem to be enthused for our late reservation. Maybe at the end of the day they are worn out but we wanted to give it a go. After learning about the things you arent supposed to touch with the red dots it made us hesitant to touch things especially since some things were already broken which shows its hard to not want to touch things for clues. One clue we found after the fact because we just decided to touch stuff. Overall we had a good time, but with the staff and the hesitancy we felt it couldve been so much better than it was. Just our experience.

We love Escaped in Time! The rooms are always so creative and cleverly designed. We have yet to win one (lol) but always enjoy the puzzles and themes. We dont come often only because the rooms dont change out too often and you cant really do a room more than once. But we do keep coming back because the quality of the rooms is so high. Great experience!

Over the Rainbow was one of the best ones Ive been to. Great design, lushly decorated, and new mechanics I have not encountered in escape rooms before. Definitely want to try the other rooms here :)

I ve played 90 escape rooms across the country so far. We stopped here to play Birds Aren t Real. My group had so much fun. We loved the unique theme certainly not one we had come across before. The room was well lit - a welcome change from the darkness we usually encounter in escape rooms. The flow of the game was nice where we continued to progress at a good pace. There was a good mix of technology and manual locks. Some of the puzzles were extra fun ones we had encountered only once or twice before in other rooms. Every puzzle fit the theme; there were no puzzles for puzzles sake. The puzzles all made sense as well. It was challenging, but not frustrating. A great room for escape enthusiasts! I can t wait to try the other rooms here.

My wife and I have done about ten or so escape rooms (physical, online, VR) and the Birds Arent Real room was the most fun and creative room we have done so far. The owner and his son were super friendly. Well definitely be back!

Fun. Family friendly and will be returning to do the other 2 rooms. Hands down a new family tradition for birthdays!

Had a blast doing Sweet Dreams with our good friends and our 9 and 10 year old! So well put together and had a few fun surprises! We had such a great time, that we stayed that night and did Birds Arent Real. Very Cool room! These guys thought of everything. They really know what it takes to make a great escape room. I also love that this is run by a family! Very friendly people, cant wait for their next one!!

This was our first escape room! We escaped the Lost Soul and Sweet Dreams rooms with 8 people. They were challenging but very fun!

Went through their Wizard of Oz room tonight and it was A BLAST! There was such thought and creativity put into the rooms and puzzles. You can just tell this family owned business loves what they do. It was honestly the best escape room Ive ever done!

I organized a work team building day at Escaped In Time and my co-workers absolutely loved it! The rooms were exceptionally well done, it was obvious there was a great deal of thought, planning and work put into each room. I highly recommend this escape room! My personal favorite was Over the Rainbow!

PLAY HERE NOW! I ve played over 450 escape rooms and these rooms have a unique wow factor that is almost impossible to find. Over the Rainbow was magnificently executed and a joy to play. You ll experience things that you ll be talking about for days. Good surprises are around every corner in that room. Sweet Dreams is also another creative concept that I ve never seen pulled off like that before, it was truly a one of a kind experience that I d highly recommend. I suggest checking out these rooms! This company was a breath of fresh air among escape rooms and I d travel from great distances to play any new games they create in the future.

My wife and I went for the first time this weekend and we had a great time. This was our first time trying an escape room and it was so much more than we expected. The puzzles were challenging and fun. Although we didn t finish it in time we came close. We look forward to doing the other rooms they have.

This was my first escape room, but I brought some friends that were more experienced. It was an awesome experience for both myself and my friends. I highly recommend Escaped In Time to anyone! Their rooms were incredibly well designed, and all 3 were great to play.

SO well done! We did The Lost Soul room and it was great. There were 3 of us, one was new and the other two had some experience, and we got out with 1 min to spare! It was very clear this company greatly enjoys and takes pride in what they do. They were attentive throughout the game and each time we asked for a clue they stayed in character adding even more to the experience. Read full review you were in the place they said you were in, with quiet background music of the ocean and distant pirate themed music that you only barely notice, but adds to the ambiance. The puzzles were totally solvable but all of them made you have to work to figure it out. The clues were just what we needed when we got stuck, and even though we used three clues, we still felt we accomplished a lot! I will stay with Escaped In Time until Ive done all their rooms because I am confident that our experience will be great simply because the owners are so invested in making it a great time. They said that they travel around doing escape rooms often and use their knowledge to put together the best experience for their customers, and that truly showed here. If you book with these guys, you wont be disappointed!! I highly recommend The Lost Soul room!!

My husband and I routinely choose escape rooms for our date nights. The upside down room was, by far, the most unique one we have solved yet! The staff member that guided us through the experience was personable, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. The room itself was well thought out and well executed. Another option we look for in escape rooms is the ability to book for only 2 people, so this was a huge bonus in our book. We had a blast, we will tell our friends, and we will return!

My team and I played Sweet Dreams. The upside down theme was unique and well-done. We had a great time. Only thing of note is the room is very lock heavy--if that matters to future players.
