Escape the Place Colorado Springs

This afternoon our staff at ServeNow attempted the challenging Timebomb escape, working together as a team. And we succeeded!!! It was so fun working together and the staff at Escape the Place did a great job hosting us. We would highly recommend this as a teambuilding exercise for your workplace, small group, or family.

**EDITED** Our first experience at Escape The Place was really awful -- the room had puzzles that were in such disrepair that it affected their ability to be solved correctly, and we had a very unhelpful and inattentive game master. After bringing this poor experience to the attention of Escape the Place, they took every step to make it right: refunding our tickets and letting us try a different room (with a different game master!) for free. Our second experience was MUCH much better; the room was more fun, the game master more helpful, and the overall experience a far more enjoyable one! I REALLY appreciated their commitment to making it right, so Im changing my review from a one star to a five!

The staff were very helpful and kind! They suggested the escape room that would be the most fun for the amount of people we had (Markhov s Endgame; 6 people). The only letdown was that we needed a phone to solve one of the problems, but the phone kept turning off :/

We did the the chamber ..level 6 very fun..great family event ..Kirsten was so helpful and fun!! Great Saturday fun.. there were birthday party events..we are coming back..

Had a blast with the family and escaped our room! Richard was a great host - super friendly and enthusiastic. Will be back!

You can have up to 4 hints and still make the leader boards of you escape. But if you want to get out, and time is running short, take all the hints you would like! They give you a walkie-talkie so you can chat with the host for clues or other issues. Our room had an item that wasnt working, and so she just gave us the numbers we needed. Quarantine room is high difficulty and most dont make it out, even with hints. Still was so fun to try! We got close... had last of 4 keys needed to escape when time ran out, so host let us just finish unlocking ourselves to be nice. Wednesday is half off day, so make sure to book ahead because they often sell out that day!

For a first time escape room, this place was really fun! We did Markovs Endgame and while we didnt complete it on time the puzzles were interesting. If I ever come back here in the future, Id love to see what the other modes are like.

Best escape room in the Springs. I booked online, but when we got there, we technically didn t have enough people for the room we booked. But the employee (so sorry I didn t get his name) was so kind and went over in detail which rooms we should pick from, and we just had him surprise us! Best decision ever, we had a blast. First time I ve escaped but it was challenging and fun and creative. The room was clean and the puzzles were beyond fun and the theme was on point! We had 2 adults and a teenager in our group, and it was perfectly challenging but not frustrating. I will be back here time and time again!

Me and my family have had so much fun in their Escape rooms. We have been to 2 if them and going to do another over spring break. If you are in Colorado Springs I highly recommend checking this place out.

What a fun escape room! The right amount of challenging and enjoyable! Bob and Tad were so acccomodating. We called for a last minute reservation while we had guests in town and they opened up so that we could come in and play. Well definitely be back to play again!

Great staff, great puzzles, all around a super fun experience! Took a couple friends into the Markovs Endgame scenario, didnt get to finish in time but staff still let us finish up the puzzles we couldnt quite figure out. Highly recommended for those new and experienced with escape rooms!

My husband and I did the second hardest escape room on Valentine s Day 2024. Our game master was a very kind outgoing gentlemen named Tad! He was extremely helpful, flexible, and made our experience so enjoyable. Although it was a difficult escape room, it didn t feel impossible. That s the best satisfaction to have.. solving a room that s a good challenge. He was great and I hope we get him again. Also, the facility has very nice bathrooms. The escape room was intricate, with awesome detailed backstories. The props were very fitting for the scenario. Great experience!!!! Thanks Tad!

This was our fourth time going! Such a fun time. Tiana was our game host. She was great, very helpful when it came to picking the right game. We were going to try quarantine but there was only two of us she recommended having at least 3 people. She allowed us to pick another room we hadn t done. We will definitely be back with a group of friends to do quarantine and time bomb!

My wife and I tried this place out for the first time and had a weird experience. The room we were doing wasnt too hard and we were technically finding all the correct answers but could not get any one locks or puzzles to work correctly. It got so bad that the attendant came in and verifies that the puzzles were broken. They apologized profusely and offered us a new escape room on a different day, no charge. The second room was a lot of fun and we had a blast! Im greatfull that they took the time to confirm their puzzles were broken and then made up for it in a kind and respectful manner. Definitely recommend them for a fun experience!

Recently, my teenage daughter and I visited The Chamber escape room, and we had an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped in, we were engulfed in the intricately designed puzzles and the immersive room that had us hooked until the very end. I ve played black site and Markovs endgame, both games were well thought out and well put together. Very difficult but we beat black site and made leaderboard but managed to finish endgame with the grace of an extra 3 minutes. Was a lot of fun and the hints were helpful. Would definitely go back and play again! Hopefully my next game will be quarantine! Over all a wonderful experience and I wish they had more high level difficulty games to continue to come back for more.

Tad was a fantastic host with lots of personality and ensured our party had a great time while solving our room. Markov s Endgame was one of the most fun experiences I ve had with an escape room, although a bit challenging the puzzles were very creative and interactive. Would love to come again!

We cannot say enough good things about Escape the Place!!! Richard, Kirsten, and Tad were phenomenal. We messed up our reservation and they amazingly fit us in and made our experience fantastic. Highly recommend this place and the staff rocks!!!

Great escape room and even better game master Tad! He told the backstory of the room in a creative way and had a great sense of humor! He was very helpful throughout the game with the clues and very encouraging. While we may not have finished in the allotted time, he still made us feel like we re geniuses Great way to spend my birthday and glad to support a veteran-owned and operated business!

I was with a smart group of ladies. It took me a while to think outside the box, but the excitement building toward the countdown and everything was coming together-- that was really fun! We were so proud of ourselves!

Gentleman who ran our room was fantastic. Really funny and gave us a great time and plenry of help when needed. Would absolutely reccomend and come back!

Fun rooms, great staff and inexpensive. My fiancé and I did Markovs Endgame and Chamber, each $50. Markovs was especially challenging and fun, the controller (Kirstin, absolutely fantastic) gave us an extra 10 minutes past the guaranteed 60. Chamber is easier and fun as well, a better option for less experienced escapists. Would recommend this business to anyone interested in Escape Rooms!

It was a lot of fun! Kirsten was a great game master! It was 3 of us, 1 adult and a 10 and 8 yo. Loved it! Would love to come back when we are back in Colorado Springs!

Been to this escape room twice and each time has been wonderful!! Gavin has been there each time and he is an awesome employee. He makes the whole experience 10x better!! I highly recommend going here!! The rooms have been lots of fun!
