An amazing escape room run by an amazing lady! This room has its own unique to Manitou theme which was not just challenging but full of surprises! The store its in is also very nice with lots of merchandise to shop while there

After seeing Kittys rant on Facebook calling this man a white boy because she doesnt like it when ppl give bad reviews is just childish and unprofessional. It makes your business look bad. I was thinking about taking my teenage son to this place but changed my mind because she is a lunatic and should probably get on some meds. Take note that Kitty makes fun of cancer survivors and people going through cancer. It makes me want to slap her in her ugly face!

Awesome escape room! Our team of 2 adults and 2 kids aged 10 and 12 really enjoyed it! There were some neat things we hadnt seen before too. Be aware of 2 things... First, no restroom on site, but there is a park super close with public restrooms. Second, the escape room is inside the Hemp Store (which we knew going in, so we had no trouble finding it, but I could see it maybe throwing people). Thanks for a great experience!

Great experience! Challenging however lots of fun clues and surprises! Even though we didnt make it out in time, it was a lot of fun. There were only three of us...might have been better with a couple more people. Two of us was their first time...they loved it too! Definitely recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed this escape. Be aware, there is no restroom on site. Make a pit stop at a gas station before heading to your game. The ambiance of the escape was on point, and all of the locks/contraptions functioned as expected. The current Saloon experience is a good escape room for beginners or couples. Feedback for improved experience: We were told at the beginning that we could use our phones as flashlights. If, instead, players were provided a vintage lantern-style light, it would make the room feel a bit more immersive and allow players to really get lost in the experience. In your advertising and booking confirmations, please make customers aware that there is no restroom available. Folks who are not familiar with Manitou Springs and its older buildings will not know to plan ahead in this way, and it could cause considerable customer frustration.

This was such a great experience!! The escape room was challenging and fun, and super clean! Staff was so friendly and really went above and beyond to provide our group with a wonderful time. We never felt unsafe and we solved the puzzles in the nick of time!! This was our first escape room and we are now completely addicted!! We will be back!!! Thank you!!!

At first I was like, okay, Im in a hemp shop. But then they let us in the escape room. We had 60 minutes to escape. There were unlimited hints, but there was a limit (sort of), where they only gave you as many as they could per part. There were 3 rooms, and the props/storyline were very realistic. Im not spoiling anything, but I highly suggest trying this out. Super fun!

Escape Manitou Springs is a fun, themed escape room. Ive been to a few escape rooms and this is by far my favorite one. Its inside of The Hemp Store on Ruxton Ave. and the store itself is cute and novelty. The people working there are sweet and very knowledgeable. Its definitely a staple in the town. Just a note about parking- There are a few paid parking lots in town and paid parallel street parking and it can be quite a task to find parking so try and get into town early to get a spot and be prepared to walk.

We had a wonderful time! This is a fairly new escape room but they have it set up perfectly! I do a lot of escape rooms around the US and Canada. The worst is finding a place where the clues make no sense. This room is great because it makes sense, it s challenging, and everything you need to know doesn t require insane and unrealistic outside the box thinking. Loved it and I hope they open more rooms here.

Very hard to find as its in a smoke shop with not a lot of signage. I tried calling over 8 times and no one answered. But the escape room was amazing! It was pretty hard to start out but a lot of fun once you get going. The girls running it were awesome! I would definitely say this is a harder escape room and not one to start with!

Very large escape room with lots to look at. I hear larger groups (6-8) have the best escape record, much lower success rates with smaller groups. Very well done wild west saloon theme. The staff were very friendly! *it might help some to be aware that this escape room is part of a head shop*

As always. A great time with awesome riddles and puzzles. After 30+ rooms this one presented us with a brand new lock style we havent seen before. Cant wait to see the next room.

SUPER AWESOME!!!! Ive never failed and had sooo much fun. THIS IS A WELL THOUGHT OUT ROOM. The host was like someone out of Alice in Wonderland. I would encourage anyone looking to have fun and challenge themselves to experience this escape room!!!!

Bad experience. Tried to book online the same day but time slots were not showing. Called multiple times but no one answered. I saw there were 7pm and 9pm games listed, so I went to the store at 6:30pm to see if we could walk in, but the store was closed. Their website states their hours are 9am-9pm, 7 days a week. Read full review not let us play a game right then, even though the room was free for the rest of the day. Sadly we couldnt stay because we had to catch a flight later that day. I was excited to try the room after reading all the good reviews, however the poor customer service left me very upset.

Absolutely wonderful. We went here as a company event and the escape room was a hit for all. Really truly a blast. We will definitely be back when they arrange a new one:)

Man, most of these negative reviews are from petty people who had a temper tantrum on fb and trying to attack the business owner. Unfortunately, you can t trust the bad reviews on here. Great place to go. Don t listen to these overgrown kids!

Absolutely loved this experience. We had a group of eight, all family members. The room was very creative and intricate, with super fun challenges. Whenever we got stuck the hostess gave us good clues that didn t give it away but kept us on track and feeling successful. Favorite escape room we have done so far and definitely plan on returning. Highly highly recommend

My husband and I did this escape room together and had the best time! The owner did an amazing job creating the room and challenges. She was so sweet and fun and her energy is contagious! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and we cant wait to go back and hopefully actually escape next time lol!

Really good... Theme good, clues good (though more in room would have been appreciated), really need to pay attention, and was getting lost in the storyline. However, the ambient sound at times were a bit distorted with the normal business on the outside of the room, the math was a bit complex and not really anything to use to right down to figure out the biggie problem sentence. And the only other mention would be some of the wear down of letters and characters on pieces that took a while to figure what they were. We were 2 clues from exit, but didnt make it out. We needed to call upon extra clues of the room makers to sort things out in the beginning. Overall, we liked it and look forward to the next idea.

We had an absolute blast! We had a group of nine people and were able to escape. This escape room definitely requires a lot of thinking and we loved how challenging it was. They give you 60 minutes and we were able to escape with 14 minutes still remaining, but we did choose to ask for clues throughout when we were needing some help. I would highly recommend this escape room!

Very bad customer service. Canceled my reservation at the last minute due cold weather no snow, just cold. They exaggerate the forecast and said it s supposed to be -18 during my appointment at 3 pm. The forecast shows -8 as the low at 5 am. It s 5 degrees at 3 pm. They hung up on the phone with me twice when I asked them to explain their decision. Theyre rude and irrational people. I can t reschedule because the holidays is a rare time I get my kids and I wanted to have this fun experience with them. Now I have to find another activity at the last minute. Get a coat for the brief walk from your car to your business like most people instead of ruining people s family plans due to your irrational fear of the cold.

WOW!!!! We loved every minute of it!! It is such a well done and intelligently planned escape room. The theme (and decor) was awesome!!! You really got into the storyline and wanted to solve it! We went with our 13 and 16 year old children and we all loved it and want to go back!

We have done a lot of escape rooms (near the 50 region). This one was interesting, saw a couple new things but nothing crazy new. We like that there was multiple things to do. Also liked the ambiance. Didn t like that there was a couple puzzles where you had to have more of a resident of Colorado knowledge. Safe to say, most likely because of that, we didn t make it through (and wouldn t have even if we had more time because we didn t know any better with that one puzzle). But our team of 4 still had fun.

We had a blast! Kitty was am amazing host and the room was super cool! We love the plot and super thankful for clues lol. Definitely recommend and we are definitely going back!!!

As an escape room enthusiast who has done over 400 rooms, The Saloon surprised me with its puzzles and set multiple times, which is extremely difficult to do to anyone who has seen enough games to know what to look out for. The set design is intriguing and eye-catching, packed with some truly spectacular moments that caught me off guard. The puzzle design was similarly excellent, catching players on assumptions with a smooth, multi-layer design. Finally, the owner was incredibly kind, allowing us to squeeze into their busy schedule in order for us to try this incredible room. Overall, Escape Manitou Springs is a must play for both beginners and experts, who will both be pleasantly surprised by the contents of the Saloon.

Excellent theme and puzzle. Our group of 4 were able to escape with the help of a few clues. The vibe was a little creep at times so just warning any chickens out there like me. Overall an excellent room and set up! My only complaint was that trying to find the escape room was difficult. There was a large dumpster parked out front that covered the sign.

Wow! What an amazing experience. This was not my first escape room, but definitely the best one! When they tell you it will be hard they re not kidding. The people running it are awesome as well. A great thing to do with family and friends. 10/10!

This was so much fun! Definitely challenging and worth the price. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved that everything is thoroughly cleaned between each group. Highly recommend!

A party of three of us (myself and 2 teenage sons) were scheduled to play The Saloon room on 2/21/20 @7:30pm. First off the area was very shady, dark alleys, not a lot of parking options. Not a well lite area for families. We arrived at 7:15 which most escape rooms instruct you to be early for the rules and back story. Hands down the worst escape room experience we have ever had. So the whole night would not be lost we went to Escape in Time in Colorado Springs and has a wonderful experience there.

This was an awful escape room. It is inside a hemp shop which the smell alone is horrible. When we arrived the door was locked so we called numerous times no answer. Then finally the girl comes to let us in. Asked to use the restroom they didnt have one which we came from over 30 mins away. How do you not have a restroom? Read full review we got stuck and got a paper that said no more clues. What? Ok we have done over 30 escape rooms and never had a game master say sorry your outta luck. I mean we pay for the time in the room. I do not recommend wasting your money on this room. I recommend going to planet deadline or locked in escapes or pikes peak escape rooms. You will actually have a great time and not smell like cheap incense afterwards.
