21 Keys Escape Rooms Colorado Springs

Did the Derailed room yesterday (there were 2 of us). We kinda sorta ran out of time by one minute but still made it out. This was a really good room and none of the clues felt like they were crazy. The theme was great as was the decor. Would highly recommend. Did Project Iceworm a week later but that was not much fun in comparison and the puzzles seemed too convoluted and everything felt cramped. It was an epic fail and I think we wouldve needed clues galore to have a chance of escape but that wouldnt have been satisfying.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The types of puzzles kept us on our toes, and we were impressed by the very creative and crafty puzzles they had designed. Its worth noting that they never purchase their games from outside vendors or franchises to ensure the quality of the experience is unique. Becoming Butch Cassidy was the game we played, and it was undeniably difficult, but thats what made it so exciting! It was a ton of fun, and we cant wait to try more of their adventures.

I ve done 2 rooms here so far and both were ridiculously fun! I had never done an escape room so we started with the Speakeasy. Being their easiest room and with my gaming experience, I figured we d have it in the bag. I was wrong. We only made it out with a minute to spare! The next one we tried was Bedlam and although we made it out sooner, it s still super tricky! This place definitely knows what they re doing when designing an escape room and they make it so challenging and fun! I will definitely be back to try every room they have!!!

An awesome experience with a group of 6. Puzzles were often multi step but nothing too crazy and it felt very satisfying. We got the final code portion, but didnt quite make it. Staff were great and the clues were good when we needed them.

The hubby and I went for a date night and had a blast. The staff was perfection just as our experience was. Definitely plan to come back again.

We had a great time with the Derailed room, it was definitely challenging with three people. Staff was kind and helpful, room was very realistic! We will absolutely return soon.

We had so much fun! The two of us did all 7 rooms over two days. We ve escaped over 150 rooms and 21 Keys is now our favorite. They were very helpful and accommodating with building the schedule the way we wanted. All rooms have impressive design and excellent clues/puzzles. 3 different staff members were our game hosts. We had a great conversation (time permitting) after each room because they were so friendly and they appreciate escape rooms like we do. Whenever they decide to add or swap out a room we can guarantee we ll book it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE 21 Keys Escape Rooms! I have successfully completed three of the rooms they have here and have thoroughly enjoyed every experience. First visit was a double date night and we all felt the puzzles were just the right level of challenge for us. Second visit was a larger group and it was a completely different level of difficulty, but masterfully put together. And just last night, with a completely different group from work, we were able to escape another room with no clues used - which was so satisfying! Staff are great and balance seriousness with fun - kudos!

Won t share any spoilers, but a friend and I did the Derailed room today. It was by far the most detailed and interactive escape room I ve ever done. Will definitely be back (even though it s over an hour away from me) to try their other experiences!

Myself, my husband and my niece did the derailed room with game master Emma. It was our first time doing an escape room and while we didn t succeed we had a blast! Emma was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and overall a delight. We enjoyed this a ton!

We played four games at this location, and they were all solid rooms that flowed well. Weve played a lot of rooms, and our favorite type of experience is one where we can play through the room without hints. We were able to accomplish this here because the puzzles are logical. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Check this place out! You and your family/friends are sure to have a good time.

The whole experience from start to finish was one of the best I have played. Emma L. was a great host and made sure we understood everything and were ready. The room, as my nephew declared provided atmosphere that carried the storyline! The puzzles were well thought out and paced, leading to other clues without leading to frustration. Thanks for the great experience! We will be back!

This was an incredible experience! My husband has always been skeptical of escape rooms (he didnt get the point). However, he told me hed take me to one while we were in the Springs! We chose 21 Keys and it was a BLAST! Even my husband wants to go back. It was great for beginners, but they also have different difficulty levels. There are multiple puzzles/themes, you dont have to be put into another group, and theyre all original puzzles. The staff was also incredibly friendly!

I have done 2 escape rooms at this place now and it is SOOOO much fun!! The themes are incredible, the rooms are stunning, and the puzzles are so fun! Would highly recommend! And Brittany is a fabulous game master!!

I have only been to a few escape rooms but the ones I did go to pale in comparison! This is a very well built and well thought out escape experience! Great job owner AND staff! The girls working were very engaged and helpful and friendly.

I went to my first escape room at 21 Keys last night and it was amazing! We had a blast! The rooms are really well thought out and engineered. There was so many fun and challenging aspects and had me instantly addicted! Cannot wait to go back and do more of them!

We did the Bedlam room and absolutely LOVED it. We solved it with 45 seconds to spare a few hints. We did it as a family, and the kids (teens) enjoyed it as well. Emma was our hostess and she was amazing as well. Very fun to interact with. This is the third room weve done at 21 Keys and highly recommend them!

We did two rooms The sacred lotus and Butch Cassidy. We weren t able to escape from either. We do a lot of escape rooms and these puzzles were definitely unique and more challenging than other franchised locations. The sacred lotus seemed more challenging than the other and we got closer to escaping from Butch Cassidy. Overall it was really fun, we all enjoyed it. Even our 7 year old was able to participate entering numbers into locks or trying out keys to locks. Place was really clean and both rooms were appropriately decorated to the theme. Definitely a must try if in the area!

We had so much fun. It was our first time doing an escape room, and we had our 11-13 year old grandkids with us. They are still talking about it. The staff was super helpful, and the kids are talking about doing it again with their parents.

Took my daughter for her 16th birthday and we had a blast. It was fun and it had us on our toes. We took kids from 10 and up and they did amazing. Its good for both kids and adults. I would recommend for family event.

This is my first time experiencing an escape room. I chose Bedlam for our group, since we had people with varying levels of experience in escape rooms. It was so much fun! I had a wonderful time at 21 Escapes and will absolutely be returning to complete the other puzzles!

We went as a group of 4, and did the Derailed room. It was a blast! The puzzles were fun, and we figured out most of them without help. For some of the puzzles, we asked for hints, and the hints were exactly what we needed to figure them out. We escaped the room with 7 minutes to spare! The layout of the room was really cool and we all liked it. Our gamemaster was really nice too! Great experience, highly recommend!

Excelent escape! My team of four adults did the Speak Easy room because we love that history. The themeing of the room was on point! Challenging puzzles and lots of clues that lead into the next clue and follow a thread from start to end! We needed three hints to complete the room, but almost before the hint was given we figured out where we had missed the number or name we were missing and were able to jump right back in! Very helpful staff as well! A true 5 star experience

We go here every time I visit Colorado Springs and it s so much fun!! These escape rooms are set up so nice and full of surprises. I ve been to a few different places for escape rooms but none of them are as nice as 21 keys.we have done the speakeasy, the Tesla one, the ice one, and today we did derailed. So far derailed was my favorite and we completed it clueless!! We are already excited to come back to do another one.

Our family had a great experience here for Fathers Day. Booking was easy, the facility was great, and our escape room was a blast. Ive done a number of other Escape Rooms and I think that 21 Keys was our overall best experience.

After an awkward realization that our booked room hadnt actually been booked (Our fault), the owner took the time to set up and run the room for us even though it was unexpected and inconvenient. The room itself was super fun; lots of puzzles to split up and work on and none of them were impossible to figure out after a little thinking! All in all a great experience, cant wait to go again!

I have done 4 rooms so far at 21 keys and they re all so creative and engaging! I love the themes of each room and the website does a great job giving any warnings for dark rooms/accessibility/and anything else you might need to know that s unique to the room. The owner is so kind and cares about feedback! I will definitely be back to complete the other rooms, highly recommend!

It was the most awesome expierience I took my husband and my dad my dad has never done one before and he had a fantastic time he is talking about going again and Im so excited to go back I love the staff they were so enjoyable to be around and they offer board games which is fantastic

It was amazing! We did the one Derailed and it was so well done, lots of things going on but not too overwhelming. Theres no penalty for hints used either which made it so much better.

We did derailed. The room itself was super cool and the atmosphere they created was really fun and immersive. We were a group of 6 and it was a bit crowded and tight. Some of the puzzles are a little confusing and have things to waste ur time. Especially the last one was frustrating and even after it was explained we still didn t quite understand what we were supposed to do lol. Overall was fun but personally not a fan of that puzzle style
