UNLOCKED: Escape Room - Orange County Costa Mesa

We did Against Us room. Awesome experience! Thank you so much Markus. Group up 8 had an amazing time. I recommend this place highly. Top notch customer service as well. If were ever in the area again we will book again!

Played Arcade room it was wonderful, the host was very nice. The puzzles were really intricate and challenging. This room is also really that in that you actually play arcade games with is really fun. It s like doing escape at a Dave and Buster. I can assure you if you play this room you will be pleased with your decision.

We had a blast at Unlocked! A group of four of us did the Return of the Magician room. Our host was great, and there were lots of really fun and cleverly-designed puzzles. Were pretty experienced with escape rooms but we still needed a few hints! Ill also say this is a great room for younger kids as it doesnt involve anything too creepy or intense. My 8-year old son participated and he had a great time. Definitely looking forward to trying their other rooms!

What a great experience! Second visit at Unlocked, and this time we did the Magician room. So cool, clever puzzles (wow some were difficult, but not unsolvable!). Thank you to Kristen(Kirsten?) who made the experience even more enjoyable with some timely clues and overall great hosting. Will definitely be back soon!

This was an amazing experience. My daughter turned 8 and we did this for her party. It was age appropriate, fun, suspenseful, and such good teamwork. Love how it was not just 1 room but 3! The kids loved it and want to go back. I would definitely like to do an adult date night here for sure. Thank you

Brought my family to play a game together. Weve done a number (10+) of escape rooms together and this was definitely top 3. We played game on which was challenging for some of the veterans in the group but had some easy parts for some of the new family members that tagged along this time. Kristin was our game master and was great! She helped us get setup, was in character for the game and provided a useful hint when we were down to wire at the end. We finished with 3 minutes to spare. Was a great game and a great time! Highly recommend.

My family and I had so much fun here doing the Return of the Magician Room. The puzzles were the perfect level of difficulty for our group. Markus was an excellent Game Master and went above and beyond in making sure everyone had an enjoyable time. We will definitely be returning to Unlocked to check out their other rooms.

I took a group of 5 boys, ages 9-10 to do the Arcade room. They needed quite a few clues to finish, but they still had so much fun and our host, Ryan, was awesome with catering to them and encouraging them. Thank you!

Our host Markus was amazing and very welcoming. Our group was made up of a lot of first timers and they loved the experience. Such awesome details in the escape room. Definitely recommend it to anyone!!!

The arcade room was SO FUN! Our game master was great, didnt give away too much the few times we asked for clues and made our experience great. Without giving anything away, there was a great twist that Ive never seen anywhere else and weve done a fair amount of escape rooms. Highly suggest!

I ve been here twice now and both games have been in my top 5 of escape rooms! I did Against Us with a larger group with Denise Langner and Game On with a smaller group with Markus Masada. Against Us was more typical of an organized escape room in terms of hints/activities but with fun twists. Denise was lots of fun to interact with, loved their energy. We just finished our Game On escape room with Markus and it s easily my favorite now!! Markus was so sweet to take the time to explain all the clues at the end, right before closing (we were the last group) on Christmas Eve of all days. While both were fun, Game On was especially unique and even made my jaw DROP at one part. It was such a treat and I was giddy at the end (albeit stressed).

We did the magician escape room with Denise. The puzzles were well crafted and fun to decipher. The room was designed to surprise and it was a great revelation. We were able to do it with 2 people once we got into the escape room mindset. Denise was very friendly and gave the right hints without making anything too obvious for us. Would definitely want to try another one of their rooms!

My daughter and her friends had a great time! We were able to solve it with some hints along the way. We did the magician one and the girls really enjoyed it. Ryan was an excellent game master

10 out of 10 recommend unlocked escape rooms! We did the magician one and the puzzles were so much fun! Skyler was our guide and she was the absolute best!! Made the game and experience so much fun!!

Did Return of the Magician and had a blast with my 7yo. Lots of space and some clever tricks. Props to Markus our host!

Went with my husband & 18 year-old son to the arcade escape room. Had a great time figuring out the clues. Jeremy was so full of life & great with clues when we needed them. My son loved it - would definitely recommend & would love to try another room!

Marcus is awesome and the magician room was cool. Did it with 4 x 10 and under kids. We escaped with 2 seconds after time expired. Success !

Jay was an awesome host! And all the rooms were super unique and fun with their own twists. Top tier.

I have done two games at this location: Space and Arcade. Both equally fun but the arcade one was more challenging. Both times had great game masters who did an excellent job hosting and making it fun.

Lillian was a great game master that helped recommend us the magic room when the arcade one was slightly damaged due to previous players. Shes too nice and helped us out, wasnt pushy about hints at all, and immersed us in the game. Great room that was fun and more than what we thought. Also for Arcade!! BEST ROOM SO FAR. Je helped us out w technical difficulites when we wanted to 2 more rooms. Ty Marcus was a GM for the Amogus room. The room itself was ok... Monotonous puzzles. No eureka moments. Just the same.

We did the arcade room with a group of 5; the entire experience of the room was so fun and immersive! The set dressing was great and the activities within the room were so creative. Our game master, Jeremy, was hilarious and very friendly and approachable through the introduction and through giving hints. Will definitely come back to experience the other rooms :)

Our family of 4 (two adults and 2 tweens) had never done an escape room before and we were gifted a certificate to try out Unlocked. We chose the Arcade room because our kids love gaming so with no expectations we went in and had a lot of fun! We definitely needed some clues from our game master Dom Vo, but he was amazing and walked us through some of the tougher challenges. The puzzles were very challenging but fun and for us parents the nostalgia of skee ball, pac man etc was really cool. Thank you Unlocked!

Dom D. and Diana were the most fabulous hosts for my little girls 10th Birthday! They knew how to make the day extra fun and special. They were also attentive to our needs as parents. Helping us set up and clean up. I highly suggest an Escape Room Party!

Denise was very helpful and we had a blast in the among us room. We celebrated my son s 13th birthday and he had so much fun.

We love Unlocked! This is our second game and Markus was our go to both times! Thank you for keeping it entertaining and fun the whole time!!!

We had such a fun time doing these escape rooms! We ended up going back and doing them all! Markus was a great GM for our first room, the Game On one! Enjoyable puzzles with sprinkles of nostalgia. We accidentally broke the room but she was able to quickly fix our error and let us complete the room still. Still had a fun time! For our second room, Against Us, Kirsten was a great facilitator! We had a fun time with the mechanics of the room. Overall a fun experience. We came back for the last room, the Return of the Magician, and it was by far our favorite room! Very enjoyable game play with creative puzzles! Also loved how the immersive the decorations are! And our GM Leo was awesome!

Myself and my family did a quick game while on vacation and it was so much fun. Denise was a fabulous game master, and really communicated well with us. She even asked how often we want nudges in the right direction. We also had a brand new escape room player with us and she was explained all the rules very easily. Cannot wait to come back and try the other games!

We had another great experience at UNLOCKED Escape Room doing the Against Us: Space Team. It was a great bonding and teamwork experience for my friends and coworkers. We had a group of 8 with ages 9-40 and all had a great time and felt they had a job to contribute. It was a little dark which set the mood, and lots of different puzzles and codes to figure out!! This was our third experience with Unlocked and we have enjoyed every single one! THANK YOU UNLOCKED! You have consistently provided us with fantastic Escape Room experiences!! We cant wait to be back and support!
