Hidden Donkey Escape Rooms Irvine

We did the Harry Potter theme escape room last night (Irvine School of Wizardly and the Dragon Wand) and it was so much fun. The decor was so on point and the challenges / puzzles were very unique and engaging. It also required a lot of teamwork and collaboration rather than each participant doing their own thing, which was so much fun. Our host was fantastic and made the experience so special. Will be keeping an eye out for future escape rooms from Hidden Donkey Escape Rooms

I went this evening with my wife and two kids (10 & 14). We had a wonderful time. The room was well made and the challenges were fun and just the right level of difficulty. Looking forward to returning when the add more rooms.

Wonderfully magical! Staff was awesome. Our kids had the time of their lives!

This is a fantastic escape room for kids. The room is beautifully designed with captivating visuals that transport you to a world of wonder. The puzzles are engaging and age-appropriate, promoting teamwork and critical thinking. The staff is friendly and the interactive elements add an extra layer of excitement. Its a memorable and enjoyable experience for the whole family. Highly recommended!

Mischief managed! The only thing missing is merch cuz youre gunna want a souvenir to remember your time here. The puzzles are challenging but super fun. The magic feels real. The young ones will get a kick out of potion making. Get past the first level and your confidence will help you the rest of the way. Good luck!

This may be the best escape room Ive ever been to. You dont need to be a diehard Harry Potter fan to love this - my HP enthusiasm is middle-of-the-road at best. Although you probably do need to like a dark castle-y atmosphere and a baritone British voice. The set design and sound system were of such high quality that I felt fully immersed in the experience. This has one very hands-on riddle that I particularly loved. But I cant say more or Ill give away secrets.

We really enjoyed the experience at this escape room. Its very well built, the atmosphere was superb, it has a lot of great questions, clues, and hints. We spent 59 minutes to escape but we made it!! Highly recommend it!!

Our teens had great fun! Very creative puzzles and theme. Game master was a great host and very helpful. Truly recommend this escape room.

I was pleasantly surprised by this one! As a massive Harry Potter fan in my childhood, this was such a cool experience! The puzzles seemed to flow quite well and made sense. Some of the effects and props definitely made me feel like a little kid again with wide-eyed wonder and several props and effects even made me audibly go Ooooh I was kind of weary of Escape Rooms going into this one, because my first experience didnt go so well. Im glad to say that this wasnt the case! Excited for their next Escape Room later this year!

20/10 recommend!!! Experience, atmosphere, and puzzles were PERFECT. Been to 10+ escape rooms and this is hands down my favorite by far.

The Irvine School of Wizardry and The Dragon Wand was me and my wifes first Escape Room experience and definitely sets the bar! The production and execution of the escape room is AWESOME! My family and I were celebrating my wifes birthday and we had a GREAT TIME! BIG THANKS to the good folks at the Hidden Donkey Escape Rooms for the EXCELLENT work!

It was an amazing experience. I do have a suggestion - myself being deaf I couldn t hear anything that was being spoken however I am lucky I had my sister with me to interpret for me. If I were to come in with 3 other deaf people, it would be beneficial to have a small TV so that when we ask for help, whatever is being spoken also shows up on TV like closed captions. It would make a huge difference to deaf community as well and alternative to speaking spells as deaf people don t usually speak.

Great fun for a group of 13 year old boys who get to work together and figure out puzzles. Game master is very friendly and helpful! We had a blast.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The front office is a bit unassuming but once you enter the room its incredibly immersive! Theres so much attention to detail and has tons of magical touches that bring the entire experience to life. 100% worth it!

Best escape room I ve done! So well put together. Well made. Great props. Great value. Beautiful photo afterwards. It s a must if your a Harry Potter fan.

This was absolutely amazing. We had so much fun. A group of teenagers, young adults, and one old lady. It was so delightful. And great puzzles. Plenty of surprises. Delightful touches, great decor, and humor too. Highly recommend it.

My family and I had a blast! I now know the extent of my Wizarding skills. The game master was also very nice and joined in on the magic.

my best friend & i did their harry potter room last night, and it was SO fun. one of the most interactive rooms i ve done for sure!! cody was an awesome gm and made our experience a 10/10. would absolutely recommend this room to anyone who likes harry potter, super fun :))

Great fantasy/magic themed room, really unique puzzles. Very fun, cool props too! Fantastic room.

High quality escape room. Nice ambience. It had unique puzzles that fit the theme nicely. You dont have to be a Harry Potter fan or anything to enjoy it. Such a cool experience. Also, our GM Cody was friendly and explained the rules clearly which made the overall experience great! Will go back for their next magical room!

We participated in the Irvine School of Wizardry escape room and it was so cleverly done. Our Game Master Galadriel (sp?) was informative and helpful the few times we needed hints. Definitely one of the best and most fun escape rooms we ve done!

Super immersive, magical experience have done many escape rooms, and this is definitely one of the best in Irvine. Unique challenges, super high quality production value, loved it!

I ve been to many escape rooms before, this was hands down the best one! Puzzles are original and artfully done. The element of magic is cleverly incorporated. Age appropriate for kids and promotes a lot of hands on activity. Great instructions from the game master.

Love love love this room. The details are amazing, the puzzles really put your mind to work and you get to cast spells and mix potions. 10/10 highly recommend!

This is by far one of the best rooms I have played and would recommend this to anyone who is looking to play an escape room. The room itself was absolutely stunning and SO immersive. We had a group of 4 all decently experienced in escape games and found it had a great challenge without being too hard or too easy :) our game master Cody was so fun as well. He explained everything very clearly and overall provided us with the perfect game. Hands down 11/10 room and i cannot wait to see what else they have in store for their new room !

3rd time doing an escape room and I was thoroughly impressed. The craftsmanship, puzzles and attention to detail by far blew my previous experiences away. I absolutely recommend this escape room as it did provide difficulty to the experienced players and for people like myself who just started. I couldn t get over the the tech involved and i kept saying, how the heck did they do this after every new spell/path that happens . Thank you so much !

was not accomodating of our time slot and would not change. tried to cancel but was rejected as they have a strict cancel policy. I was only in irvine for this 1 day and could not do a different time slot. I really wnated to do the wizard room but they could not accomdate my reservation.

So much fun, what a cool experience! The Harry Potter additions were well thought out, and help is always available! Will return!

This was a great experience, was very fun, deco was pretty cool. The thing that must love was the customers service, Cody was excellent. Totally recommended.
