We have done three rooms now, all except the Cursed, and liked all of them for their variety of puzzles, awesome game master and attention to details with the props and room designed. We liked the Manor best and next Framed for Murder for the room decorations and back story. Senseless is going away soon and is not very pretty inside but I actually like the physical puzzles which I thought were good for the kids (9 yrs old).
I had a good experience here. This was my first escape room at this location. I did the Framed for Murder room (not sure if thats the actual name). This room is supposed to be their hardest and it was difficult but not to the point of not being fun. It was a cool theme, lots of ah-ha moments and cool puzzles. My one critique would be that there needs to be better sound proofing between their different rooms. There was another room going at the same time as us and we could easily hear them shouting as they were trying to escape their room. Kind of distracting when you are trying to solve your own puzzles. Over all lots of fun and I will for sure be going back to do their other rooms!
Our first time at this escape room. The entrance to the location is not very apparant from the street. It is only indicated from a logo posted on the door. However, when you enter you know you are in the right spot, as the lobby offers a tranquil environment with comfortable sofas, soothing music and even a few games on the table to pass the time while you wait. The business is an active contributor to local causes as it seems from an active message board that promotes a charity. There is also...
an active leaderboard for those with a competitive nature. The game master explained the parameters for placement on the leaderboard is less than 3 hints. We played The Cursed and were satisfied with the overall experience. The game master introduced the game in costume and even partook in a bit of acting to further strengthen the theme of the room. The room setup and design was adequate to great. It is a tough job to create an illusion of the outside when constrained by indoor facilities and the attempt here was admirable. The props were cleaned and all the puzzles and locks worked as expected. During game play the game master did a great job to only inject themselves when clearly our attempts to solve certain clues were futile. The only real issue is the restroom facility. They are not located in the actual location. Rather they are located in the main hallway of the corporate building. To access, one must walk towards the main street of the industrial and thus would recommend common sense when at night. I recommend this escape room for adults of all levels.
My wife and I had a great experience with the escape room and the staff. We did The Cell and though it was only my wife and I, the room was difficult but solvable. The room was well built, with excellent decorations and puzzles. The interactivity from the staff was also great and added to the overall atmosphere. Next time we are in the area we will definitely come back.
My girlfriend and I have done 2 rooms here and loved both! Excited to come back for the remaining two sometime soon. Favorite escape rooms Ive been to.
Had a blast here doing the manor room. Very fun, definitely will make you think. I d suggest 4-6 people (my fiancé and I went and thankfully the staff were very nice). They have other rooms, so I definitely plan to come back. Easy booking process, fair pricing, and very clean (YES THEY ARE OPEN DURING COVID, mask provided if needed). Have fun and good luck!
Great experience. The puzzles were well thought out, very clever, and original. Will definitely be coming back to try the other rooms.
Had a blast last night, and were able to complete two rooms with the best time for this month, In Spite Of Andy! Each room had puzzles that felt unique and were on theme. My one complaint would be the lighting can be a little difficult to deal with, but we still managed to have a great time. We will be back to run the two other rooms.
My group did two rooms here. Both are lock heavy. There are a lot of props in the rooms which is cool for photo opps but do get in the way of finding clues. One of the games we did was not prepared correctly. One of the chests was not locked so we were able to open it without putting in the combination. Unfortunately it was supposed to be one of the last locks to be opened in the first room. So we already had acces into the second room within 5 minutes of the game. It did through us off since now...
we had a combination of two rooms to work through and the game master was telling us throughout the course that we were not suppose to have access to different things at several stages because of the mishap. And he directed us to using the clues for the combination to the lock that was unnecessary to open since the chest was not properly locked, which was annoying. Lots of the furniture and clue pieces where falling apart too.
This escape room was amazing! We did the Framed for Murder and it was the hardest one I have done! You definitely need team work, and good communication or you will not figure out the clues in time. The employees were very nice and professional!
CURSED - Great escape room. You can tell theyve put some time and thought into their puzzles. Fun story. Well definitely be back to try other rooms. SOLVED 55min
My group of 6 had a awesome time! This place is super high quality. It started off with one of the nicest lobbies yet. Already looked better than a few actual escape rooms lol. They had complementary coffee/water/ and gum?!?! Inside the escape room the decoration was perfect for the theme. They had some cool puzzles. I read some other reviews about reading and yes there is some but not nearly as some reviews suggest. Definitely no more than a few minutes worth probably in total. Personally I like...
this kind a lot more than typical escape room reading because you are not just looking for keywords or phrases (bolded letters, highlighted segments, the word north). But rather the reading as whole is important and it helps advance the story. Again, decoration was great and the props were actually super cool and realistic. The escape room was well lit and not scary in the slightest. We had a great time, and heard a new room coming out in a couple weeks so that should be sweet as well. Thanks so much Code Red!
Have done 100+ rooms and this one was solid. Will come back for manor and framed. Good combo of locks/tech in the room. Its pretty dark in some places but overall decent flow to it and didnt get lost a whole lot.
Will absolutely go back to Code Red! The room was definitely challenging and creatively well-decorated. Between a veteran, a fairly newby and a first timer, we had to ask for 4 clues in order to escape. One of us got a little overheated from part of the area as it was a little warm in an section, and I am not a fan personally of too dim of a room because I cant see to read or see combinations, nor could one of my friends, but I realize it would take away from the ambiance so maybe bringing a flashlight would be something to help me out. We brought out a cell phone flashlight in order to see combinations.
It was fun but I requested no hints and the game master still kept providing them. It made the win not worth it. Edit: Adjusted the review to 5 stars because the owner reached out and addressed the issue. I appreciate it when someone runs their business responsibly. I have no doubt my next experience will be better.
Our family had the best experience. The set was super immersive and detailed. It truly felt as if you were transported to another location when you walked through the door. Our game master, Zach, also did a fabulous job. I liked how he stayed in character whenever he would give hints, it really added to the experience. Would definitely recommend!!
One of the best escape room! We had group of 8 and escaped out of Framed for Murder and Senseless back to back. Every one of us enjoyed the set up, organized manner, storyline, just about everything! Highly recommend this place!
Great escape room. We completed the Manor and will be back in the future to finish the other rooms. Fun puzzles, great teamwork, excellent game host!! Puzzles were not linear however. May not be the best for inexperienced escapers. Update: Went back for the Cursed room. Was a lot of fun! Puzzles were more linear than the Manor. Room is abit spooky but not scary. Great for a group.
Our group of 6 did the Framed for Murder and had a blast. The room was difficult but we were able to escape at the last second. (With a couple of hints.) Definitely lots of team work and puzzle solving, which we loved. Most puzzles are fun and creative. The only suggestion is maybe having some hints of relationships between the puzzles and the locks. They semed very random. Staff were great. Wed go back to try their other rooms.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time! Extra props for being open memorial day morning! We both agreed that the puzzles were 10/10 what you would expect at a very large scale operation! Very satisfying to complete and following a logical sequence. The room was 9/10, just a few loosely glued items that could be a bit cleaner. Difficulty and time to complete were perfect. And the staff was 12/10, above and beyond, offering the few clues we asked for in very helpful ways that allowed us to have a fun/satisfying experience and being completely in character! Looking forward to coming back!
Went to do the cemetery room. a number of the props and locks were just not working/broken open. the puzzles were theoretically good, as was the flow of the room, but it was hard to look over the state of disrepair everything was in.
Amazing! Team building activity and it was awesome. Emersive, challenging, fun and creative. And the staff are fantastic. 100% recommended.
It was our first experience with an escape room and we had a BLAST! The staff was super kind to us and helped give us some hints and tips to get started - I loved that they stayed in character the whole time! The puzzles were varied and challenging. They were so clever and I loved that we all could participate! We had ages 6 - 44 in the room and we all contributed and participated to free the trapped spirits and escape the room. Definitely check out Entangled - it was soooooo much fun!!!
My first escape room experience and it left me hungry for more! Did the Mystical Murderess and the decorations were so well thought and placed that it seemed like we were really in the Victorian Era. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible, just how I like it! I cant wait to see what else comes from Code Red in the future, I will definitely be going back again. Highly recommend!
Very nice location, easy to find and a busy area. Waiting area and staff were helpful, the room we selected was extremely cool [sorry no giveaways allowed], definitely recommend this or any other Escape Room location, we had a blast!
Meh. We are avid escape room players and the experience at Entangled Escape Rooms rates at the bottom of our list. The location is hella dodgey. It s in a random office building with dimly lit parking and poor signage. The facility itself when we walked in felt as if a drug raid could take place at any moment. It felt Holly Hobby. It felt like some college kids threw some money into a pile and said, Let s cash in on the escape room trend. The escape room itself was bootsie. Riddles were written...
on props with a Sharpie. The room was lock heavy. As in pad locks, code locks, directional locks, whatever other lock you can think of - locks on locks on locks. Locks should only be about 50% of the game experience not 90% of it. The game master when giving us hints would come over a loud speaker and speak in a heavy echoed voice (for effect) that would leave us saying, Please repeat that. There s too much echo to understand you. The effort is appreciated but for true efficacy it s not helpful. At several points in the game, different members in our group got bored and just sat there. Thank goodness for the couch and chair in the room because being bored without having a place to take a load off would cause true annoyance. This fact alone though, the boredom with the room, told all of us that this room wasn t for us. We rallied anyway because we only have (1) non-escape in our group s escape room history, but by this time the clock had severely run out. We ended up finishing the disappointing game at 59 minutes and 36 seconds. We looked at the clock and said, Okay, well at least we completed it. The game host came in and said they reversed the clock by 20 seconds. So not only were we unimpressed with the game, but bored AND now annoyed because we technically didn t finish the game within the hour. If this is your first time and only option for an escape room in the area then it s cool. If you live somewhere else where you can find a more up to date escape room with technology, actual moving props and interactive displays then I d say go that route versus this route.
Really fun i enjoyed it with my friends today. Senseless host was really fun and nice. I recommend this place a lot. Great enjoyment today thanks to this place!
My family had a great time. We chose the hardest room but had some support when we got stuck. I made the mistake of going on a day that I did not reserve by accident and they made an accommodation and squeezed us in. We appreciate it.
Ok, this is for you older generation baby boomers. I took two of my girlfriends here for a new adventure, and we certainly had one! It was the most fun we ve had in a very long time So, take your kids and grandkids, and show them how to have fun!! Also, the staff there is exceptional. Very friendly and helpful.
Cole was an awesome game master!!! We had an awesome time doing the Manor escape room and even booked one for tomorrow for a different room!! So much fun!
