Diego was a very fun and interactive game master! If we are in the area we will have to come back to visit and do a room! Hostel was fun, but we ran out of time with just the two of us.

Ive been on an escape room binge with my partner for the past year. Done a bunch in Toronto, San Jose and one in Monterey Bay. This place is LEAGUES above the rest. We played Battle of Xu Qua first, which is the most perfectly fine tuned beginner experience Ive ever known and was really fun for us though were already somewhat experienced now. Read full review they control the game (as it should be). She guided us just right that the pacing felt perfect. She interacted with both of us in a way that was goofy and funny. She kept us immersed, engaged, focused, but having fun! Marissa is by far the best GM Ive ever been lucky enough to get at an escape room. You really made our day with Battle of Xu Qua, thank you so much! GMs make/break an escape room. Many places, the GMs are under-trained and have no idea how to hype up a quiet couple that is us lol. Ive often embarrassed myself by cursing to high heavens throughout escape rooms (always forgetting they can hear me) about just how bad it is. I never had a single complaint for the two rooms we did at EDscapade. The secret lies in how the games are operated. The puzzles at EDscapade (the two we did at least) were manually operated. So the GM had 100% say on whether something was activated and we didnt have those awkward moments where were told, you need to push that sideways a bit more so the mechanism works, after 5 minutes of standing around doing nothing. We had none of the annoying experiences we have at every other escape room weve been to. Both rooms were built intuitively and safely. Theres nowhere you can get your hand caught, fall, trip, or feel youll end up with a splinter etc. The materials they use for the rooms, the design itself is geared towards it being fun and safe. Anyway, the next day, we went to another escape room in the area, which was a mistake, because EDscapade had now spoiled us. We returned to EDscapade the day after that to play Hostage. We both loved that one too. Brennon has such great reviews about him already, so I was pointing at the staff board being like, Oh, we got Brennon! Thats Brennon! Brennon and Marissa were masters at setting the tone and making the experience great for us from start to end. Its the first place Ive felt I was in the room with the GM, instead of them being the equivalent of a glorified paper hint. Staff recommended escape rooms in LA, because they have a lot of experience based escape rooms like EDscapade as opposed to static puzzle rooms. The price is the same for both types and yet Id never recommend anything other than ones like you can find at EDscapade. Im guessing this might be due to LAs wealth of actors/performers. I ASSURE YOU, the majority of us are going to enjoy an interactive puzzle experience with our friends, family and colleagues, not a boring puzzle to puzzle room with poorly placed doors that fling open too hard and hit your face :]. If youre going with a bunch of friends or just as a couple like we did, pick this place!! Please trust this poor, normie sod who has spent way too much money on escape rooms alone, and finally found a good one! I actually went to one with my partners mum recently (her first time). It was the typical puzzle to puzzle, and a boring experience. I really wish wed taken her to EDscapade instead. I dont recall this verbatim, but the reason this place is called EDscapade is because many of their staff are students, and the people who manage them/owners of EDscapade etc are educators. So they have a network to have students work as staff at the escape room and they also help them with their tuition costs and training costs through additional bonuses from good reviews. I think its pretty amazing and unique. The fact our GMs were either in HS or off to college surprised me, cos theyre such naturals. TL;DR - EDscapade is innovative and creative in ways that truly deserve your precious time and money.

Anh was the person who helped out. She was super cool and I think she makes the game even more fun. She was very energetic and into the whole process, Also our guy BoB (Manansala) made the game pretty intense as well. You all need more people like them. We will def come back.

This was our first time at Edscapade games HEATHER was a great game master she made our experience more enjoyable and memorable to enjoy. Thank u for being our game master.

Me friends and I did the Nursery escape room for my friend s birthday and Ahn was our game master; she was so fun and funny! She was soooo wonderful! The game was so freaking scary and immersive and it was all thanks to the wonderful actor who played Bob, Leo. If you like being scared, this WILL NOT disappoint!!!!!

A great activity for families and teams. Our host/game master, Diego was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions and hints throughout the game. Thanks to Diego, we had a memorable Father s Day experience.

We attempted to escape from the nursery and failed so hard, but it was so worth it. Anh was our game master and she was amazing! She did so well setting the tone and she delivered! Anh rely prepped us for what we were about to walk into! This was the most interactive and scariest game I ve ever done (and we ve done a lot) and it was thanks to my boy, Bob (aka Leo). Leo KILLED it and also killed (figuratively) us. Leo really played the part of a demon and I don t know how he didn t break character considering all of us screamed like little babies! Thanks Anh and Leo for making my birthday one to remember! Hope we get you both as our game master and our demon the next time we come back!

My family and I love escape games! After wiping out most available options at OMESCAPE we ventured to other available escapades and this did not disappoint! Diego our game master was extremely friendly, enthusiastic, and overall made the whole hostage experience immersive and riveting.

Me and my friends did the Nursery escape room and it was the most fun escape room Ive ever done! Our host was Ahn and she was really nice and helped us a lot throughout the game in understanding the rules and guiding us in the right direction without giving away the answers when we were lost. Dylan was also great as Mr. Bob and it was a really immersive experience.

First time here, Paige was our game master, she was awesome! Made our experience 10x better! She got really into character and made the game more intense! Did the hostage

Paige was a great game master, very professional the whole way. We did the B.O.X. challenge and I really appreciate being able to step out of my headspace and instead focus on solving easy tasks. A great mental escape from daily life and easy way to have some fun.

It was so much fun! We played Nursery and Anh was so helpful from the moment we arrived and throughout the game. Dylan was amazing as well. Even though we were new to escape games, we could tell that they tried to make the experience as immersive and enjoyable as possible. Well definitely come back someday!

It was fun. I did Hostage with two other pals and we got out alive with all of our limbs. Leo was our game master and boy was he great. The other actors were phenomenal as well. I ve done other escape rooms, but this was the first one that got me fully immersed.

My friend and I had a great experience with my host Heather in the Hostage escape room. Had a very scary vibe with the theme which was nice. The puzzles were a good level of difficulty.

Fantastic and terrifying experience. We did the hostage, and it was awesome. Very creepy and great atmosphere. Paige was a lovely host and Leo killed it (pun intended) as the game master. Definitely one to check out.

We did Nursery with Anh as our host and Dylan and Jesse as our keeper. Yes we had two rounds of Nursery in two consecutive dayz, and Anh is the driving factor for our passion! Although we didn t make it to the end, we were kind of close and Anh made it an exceptional experience! And thanks Dylan for the aggressive acting :D Fantastic interactive game experience! Beware that there s gonna be A LOT of puzzles but it s almost guaranteed to be a new experience for you..

Had a lot of fun doing BoX at edscapade! Leo and Tam were our game masters and they did a great job narrating and giving us hints when we needed it. Would definitely come back and try out their other scarier rooms too!

Minh is by far the best host I have ever had at any escape room. I have been to Escape rooms in SF,LA, Irvine, and none of them compare to the hosting quality of this one. Minh made our experience way better than it needed to be and me and all my friends had an amazing time. His willingness to go above and beyond was amazing. Will be booking again soon!

We played Nursery and Anh was a lovely and friendly host for us! She gave us a thorough rundown of the rules and provided a fun and immersive experience for our whole group. The live actor, Minh, also did a wonderful job setting a tone of suspense and urgency, and our team had a super exciting time

Ahn and Dylan were amazing. Dylan was super nice to us and Ahn was really funny and kept us very entertained. I loved the game. The puzzles were difficult and the game was super scary. But it was really enjoyable. If you like a story, scary, and immersive aspect to your escape room, then edscapade is the game for you.

Nursery is lots of fun and probably the best immersion experience I ever had for escape room. Ann is super helpful and nice before and after games. Darryn our live actor is incredible building up the tension and pressure. I had a great time with my friends
