The Escape Game San Francisco (Fisherman's Wharf)

We decided to do an escape game last minute. It was a Monday night. We had done several before so there were only 2 choices for us. The staff was really accommodating. The game was extremely fun and challenging.

The place is brand new. The staff is kind and helpful. Across the street from the Boudin restaurant. Use the parking at the Pier 39 lot and order your parking tickets online. We have done over 20 Escape rooms and this one is top 3. The props and visuals are top notch! We had a party of 2, but they guided us to freedom!

we had such a great time in the time travel. it is quite good difficult for beginners. game master did a perfect job and only give hint when required. Also showed us the other rooms which seems to be awful too. we will come again

5 star for the downtown location and 5 star for fishermans wharf!! This company is so awesome please give it a try! If you want a great challenge but be able to take hints with no penalties this is the place! We bought tickets from our night at the downtown location to use here a couple days later. We booked The Depths room with the same group of 4. They were short staffed when we arrived so a little longer of a wait, but not too long at all. Read full review, down the long hallway to the left. The waiting space is downstairs when youre next up and they have a cute little cutout to take photos in front of. We were lead to our room and we got started after the intro. Super awesome room and we did use I believe 3 hints in total. This was a bit more challenging as the room is a lot smaller than what we had in Playground so a good tactic is to just investigate on your own. We loved the second part of the room because it was so creative and challenged us to the very end we felt the rush of the timer! Such a blast and the worker we had was so kind and hilarious. They made us feel very welcomed and had fun chatting with them about the different parts and what they saw on camera (struggle was real at times haha) We bought tickets once again to be used hopefully down at the San Diego location and we cant wait! The adventure to complete all the rooms is so far 2/.2 success!

Hands down the best escape room. Super fun rooms. Great hosts. Easy check-in process. We drove 2 hours just to go to this place. Definitely will return.

Took 20 Hs students here and had a great time. Highly recommended for families and friends.

love this place! Went there on my classmate/friends birthday. Went to the depths. It was epicccccc! We almost drowned. Time was almost out. But, we survived. I am glad I am a puzzle mastermind. Last room aka as I call it : the speciment lab was the hardest and the funnest. At the end, (if you and your friends survive) you get a sticker that says I ESCAPED. Over all, great place. Very very satisfied. :)

Ive played in this company before, but not at this location, they have a alcatraz themed room which is really cool, the staff there is friendly and they got a big louge where you can hang out while waiting, and they also allow emptional support animals, great experience overall

Absolutely great and fun experience! Big shoutout to Shane & Escher our hosts! We did the Alcatraz Escape Room and got out with 5 seconds to spare! (With great addition time added from our host captors!) Will definitely be coming back again to finish all of their escape rooms!

Escher (I don t know how to spell his name!) was literally the best guide ever, cool vibe. Also, I didn t get everyone s name but all the employees there were so friendly and accommodating to us. They really want to make sure you have a good time and they also curtesy locked our fist game so it was just my partner and I. We did two escapes by walk ins and it was SUCH a fun spontaneous activity. The rooms are actually rather challenging and have some unique/tough puzzles, but it s still pleasant and solvable. If you re new to escape rooms, you also have unlimited hints. Definitely recommend the train one.

Han and Meg were super great and accommodating. We had a 12 year old with us who it was her first time. The game was super immersive and everyone had a great time! We also escaped! Highly recommend. When we come back to SF we will def come play again!

This was my first escape room ever and WOW! We did The Depths and it was so incredibly well-designed and high-tech. It was a total blast. Truly could not have asked for more out of an escape room experience. Our game host Escher was also fantastic.

Escher and Jake are amazing!!!!! Cannot express how awesome they are. We have 4 kids and they just helped them so much and made our families experience exceptionally special and kids had a blast.

We went with a big group for an adults birthday party and had to split into two separate games, (Alcatraz and Gold Rush) but the staff was super nice and we all had a blast! As advertised, the Alcatraz escape was harder than Gold Rush, but you can get unlimited hints and everyone enjoyed the games. Definitely recommend for those who like brain teasers. A fun activity for special events.

Jake was able to watch us closely enough and help point out when what we were doing was right and that there was a minor glitch in the works due to the equipment vs what it was we were doing. He also jumped in to let us know when we were on a red herring path that could have led to potential injury.

Amazing game, did the gold rush room and it wasn t too hard while also having some very unique puzzles that kept us entertained. Had a host Ashley and she was super nice with her timing of hints, letting us explore and think for a while before nudging us in the right direction to make sure we had a good chance of completing the room. As an Australian who loves escape rooms and have only ever done them so little times, this place makes me want to do every escape room I walk past it was so much fun and the people were so nice.

Escher was the absolute best game host! He was super friendly & a joy to have apart of a gaming experience! Everyone we come here we would love to have him help us! Thank you Escher!

This was so fun we had to do it twice! Thanks Jen for the tour and Escher for getting us setup and situated. Y all are great!

Highest quality escape games we ve ever done, and we were able to do them with just 2 people for an affordable price. Will be back to complete all the games. Escher was the best game guide ever!

Nicky was our game master and she was great! She was so helpful and friendly and clear. She made our group excited to start the game and happily took photos for us. We will be back!

Soooo well done and very engaging and smoothly run. Gold Rush room was extra fun because you get to shoot a BB gun!!

Had a great time for my first escape room, played special ops mysterious market with a group of 4. Staff is wonderful and chat with us for ages. Standout staff were Jas and Drew, seriously please give these people a raise. They took pictures for us and gave us picture ideas. If you haven t been please give them a look!

Had a great time in The Depths! Ricky was our game master. The room is themed very well. We were able to escape in 46 minutes with no clues. Still it was challenging and engaging!
