Not a great experience here. The room wasn t fully prepped for our group - for instance the VR component was set to a different experience, and some of the clues were left solved and so we couldn t figure out the sequence of things.. Overall the escape room had unnecessarily over complicated clues and felt over techie . The one pro I would say is that many of the clues were things that needed 2-3 people solving it which was nice because it s really helps with getting to know someone or team building efforts.

Having been to multiple escape rooms in multiple states and this escape room feels that it captures the tech identity of San Francisco. Where there are a bunch of people who are all using the latest and greatest gadget to solve problems. We had a group of 18 people and I was scared that there wasnt puzzles to be solves but what I didnt realize was people all have their own fun. Some like sitting back and watching other peoples struggle while others dont mind the struggle to get to the end goal...
. Overall the group said they really enjoyed themselves and would want to do Sonar also! Everyone also got really excited that there were multiple rooms to explore. In summation, would I do this again with another group? In a heart beat. PS Mike, the founder, is awesome when coordinating a group this large.

I organized a 4 hours long workshop for my remote team and I was looking for a fun activity to close the intense morning activity. I went to a physical escape room at Reason in the past and I had a blast, so I was curious to try their virtual offer. It was amazing. 16 people in my team and everyone absolutely loved it and asked if we could do the next one. Moonshot is a great escape room activity. Being limited to a virtual environment has some limitations over a physical escape room such...
as the experience being very linear and missing the physical exploration side but they made up for this shortcoming exceedingly well by having a great variety of puzzles that include using the web (and discovering a lot of cool websites) or calling real phone numbers. Definitively the team at Reason took the limitation of a virtual environment and built them in a strength, all packaged in a very high-production value experience that everyone could enjoy. On top of that, they have been great at accommodating an early start time to allow my off-shore team to join. What else I could say? 5 star is not enough

This is an amazing operation and a great team building activity. My company did the Crash Site with 20 people, and everyone had a fantastic time. It was very interactive, challenging and fun. The best part was how accommodating they were. Mike always replied to my emails immediately, and they setup an area for our team to have a catered dinner before the event. I appreciate all the help and flexibility for our team to have such a successful event!

My boss arranged a virtual escape room through Reason as a team building exercise. Very well done, a great host (giving us an appropriate level of hints vs letting us struggle), very creative. They split our group of 14 into two teams in two diff Zoom rooms. FYI to make sure ppl who will be on opposing teams arent in the same physical space so that they dont leak clues.

Great experience with lots of high tech puzzles. Only 1 combination lock in the whole thing which is always a welcome sight. We even had a VR headset included! We went for an office team building and all 9 of us were entertained for the full hour!

We enjoyed this escape room. This was my first experience with an escape room and I didnt really know the group I was escaping with. The host was really great. He checked us in quickly and ran us through a fun ice breaker. I thought the room was well set up for our size group and expectations were set well without giving anything away. We were all able to play with fun tech toys you dont normally encounter -- so great! My only suggestion is that they should remind you to use the restroom right when folks arrive. We had a short line because of when we were told to go.

If you or your team love the escape rooms with a future tech, this is the place to go. We had an awesome team event here on a cool Friday and the host (Mike) was great! The technology used in the escape room is futuristic! Youll use NFC tags, VR, fly drones, solve puzzles, decode codes, play games, put your math, analytical and logical skills to use. Youll love the challenges. The team evaluation, photos & videos at the end was nice.

A great experience. We did the reactor room with 11 people. There were several unique and fun puzzle elements and there was always enough going on that there was little downtime between all of us.

Really nicely done, felt challenged but not rushed. Awesome diversity of puzzles too. We played the Crash Site with 10 people, and everyone got to work on a few different puzzles in parallel.

Super fun team building activity. Did one of the escape rooms with 17 people and it was great. Lots of variation and interesting tasks. Many require working together and it is interesting to see how the team organized and communicated throughout.

Great staff and amazing game that requires a lot of coordination between team members. One of the better escape rooms Ive played. Theres VR, 3D printer and drone. The game plan manages to facilitate 15 people playing at the same time. Awesome job!

We had great hosts, Mike and Crina, who made sure we had a good time. Love the tech in this room- you wont find this level of puzzle design anywhere in the Bay Area. If you love escape rooms, Reason is a must!

This was my first escape room, and based on this experience it definitely wont be the last. A clever and well considered plot with a range of puzzles to keep everybody engaged and on edge. Time flies when youre under threat of death! Mike was an absolutely fantastic host and knew exactly when to let us struggle and when to drop a hint. Definitely look forward to playing the new game when it comes out!

The Escape room is a creative and challenging team activity. It was my first experience and it was well orchestrated. The owner is friendly and makes the experience well memorable. This is a great way to introduce team members as a work activity.

I booked a 30 person event for my executive eBay team. We were absolutely THRILLED by the escape room challenges!! My team had so much fun and are still talking about it, a week after the event. Mike and his team run an excellent program. Mike, was a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend this escape room adventure!

My 11 year old wanted to do an escape room for her birthday with friends, and Reason provided a great experience for our small but not too small group of determined kids. From booking in the beginning (Thanks, Mike!) to the countdown at the end (Thanks, Zoe!), staff were friendly and helpful. The puzzles (that we managed to get) were tough but the kids were excited when they got something right and a box opened. Although we didnt complete the challenge, I highly recommend Glitch, a fun and interesting tech-science-themed escape room. If you do make it a party there are public picnic tables in front of a nearby bar that are available for an early afternoon after-party, as there is no indoor event space.

This escape room theme was very witty and engaging. The location was very professional and the host was good about keeping us on task. I would certainly recommend this escape room for team building that has a challenge aspect.

What do you get when you have an escape room with 20 highly intelligent people, many of whom do not know each other? Escaping by the skin of your teeth! Let s get to the take aways from this team-building adventure that I was fortunate to be a guest for: 1) Lead and follow - it s a great setting to practice both of these and especially the one you need to work on! 2) Communicate, communicate, communicate - less is more in this experience and you need to be clear in your communication 3) Diversity...
makes for a phenomenal experience - it s incredible to be amidst such creative thinkers for solving different puzzles and bringing different perspectives to the table! 4) Divide and conquer - small teams are better to be broken up into at points and allows for you to get to know some of the other people a bit more! 5) Use your strengths and own your weaknesses - you can t be great at every puzzle in the room nor are you expected to be! 6) Have fun - at the end of the day, this is an awesome opportunity for many people that know and don t know each other to come together and enjoy an common hobby or experience this is 100% a health-related opportunity! 10/10 recommend Reason Future Tech out in the Bay Area if you are looking for a team-building escape room experience! We played Glitch by the way if anyone was wondering!

My friends and I had such a great time with the Moonshot 2: Gateway virtual escape room. We had 11 people, split into 2 teams. The event was well facilitated, and the puzzles were engaging, challenging, and still accessible. Everyone had a chance to bring their strengths to the table when solving puzzles, which speaks to the nice variety of knowledge/skills required. The Reason team was easy to work with as well, when scheduling and deciding which virtual escape room challenge to select. Thank you for a wonderful birthday party!

I had so much fun in the Patagonia Survival Race. Sometimes you feel like you lost an hour of your life you never get back. I honestly enjoyed every minute and I wish it would have been longer. Time flies when you are having fun!

I went here with my company s team of about 10 to the Glitch escape room. It was an amazing experience and the puzzles were well put together. The technology integrations made it feel very polished

A super fun experience! Went with a group of 8, and everyone loved it. The puzzles are at good challenge level, and are designed in a way that everyone could be contributing to something at all times. I was also impressed with all the high-tech gadgets that were part of the puzzles -- 3D printer, VR headset, flying drone, and more. Definitely planning on visiting again once their second room is complete!

This is a first generation escape room, very linear. While the riddles are well done five people for Luna in Space was already rather too much. Update: based on the feedback the staff was super appreciative of the feedback and will probably incorporate Lola in space into something bigger.

Really fun and challenging puzzles, great tips from the host to help get us unstuck at the right times. Highly recommend for a team event like ours.

It was so much fun to go through the escape room. Working on puzzles with friends is great because someone always has an idea that the other didnt think of. This particular escape room was very techy and it played well with our group and we got out with a couple minutes to spare. Will you be able to get out?

The Reactor escape room at REASON in SF was an awesome experience!! It was the second escape room I have done and it was every bit as exciting as the first time I stepped foot in an escape room. Unlike the previous escape room I had taken part in The Reactor just throws you into the action. They only information given is that you have 80 minutes to prevent the reactor from melting down. The Reactor had many special elements that I was very surprised to see in an escape room. Talking with the designers...
after we finished the escape room, they expressed their desire to take very new technologies you read about on tech blogs and make it a part of the escape room experience. They definitely succeed, as I found myself interacting with technologies that I was excited about, but never had the chance to try for myself. The designers nailed the ambiance of the room and I found that at difference points during the progression of the room I could see the changes in lighting and music that ratchet up the tension as we got closer to our goal of escape. Overall the experience was amazing and I wouldnt hesitate to make an activity out of it with friends or a team building experience with work. Reason has designed an escape room that in seconds breaks down barriers and gets you excited to work together towards a common goal, all the while experiencing puzzles and technologies that you havent before.

One of the most high quality escape rooms we have ever been! Definitely one of the best in Bay Area. The puzzles are fun and challenging. Camille was amazing, the staff there were really helpful

Our group of 12 had a fantastic experience at Reason for our team offsite. The game is set up perfectly for larger groups like ours - lots of puzzles happening at once, with an emphasis on communication and collaboration (vs esoteric knowledge). Would do it again in a heartbeat!

This place is awesome! Our team of 10 ppl had a great time solving all the mysteries. Well executed, great staff, tons of activities while you wait and hang out. This place is super fun and recommended to try for any event with friends, family, or coworkers. The technology is also out of this world & definitely a must see & try!!
