STEAL AND ESCAPE - Escape Room Adventure in San Diego

Had a great time in The Missing Season. The way they provided hints and progress updates really felt like you were in the story. I completed the one room and immediately wanted to jump into another one. I am looking forward to trying the other rooms they have.

Love all there rooms! We ve done 3 rooms and each were super fun and well put together. I love how much effort was put in the making of each room and the staff is always friendly and professional!

I recently did the stela and escape room and it was an absolute blast. My group and I all had a great time. The service was super friendly and helpful. We were able to complete our specific room on time and it was also challenging. I believe there are 3 or 4 different rooms. I d suggest booking a time online and getting there a little early.

We had soooooo much fun here! We did the Lost Expedition room and could not have had a better time! STEAL AND ESCAPE clearly puts a lot of love and thought into their games and the experience you have. We ve been to multiple different escape rooms in the San Diego area and this was hands down the best. Such great staff, escape room ideas, and execution of that concept. Will definitely be back!

Highly recommended! It was (5 people) our 1st time in an escape room. The Missing Season was so much fun. There were fun puzzles that we were all able to participate in. Nothing physically strenuous. Our game master was Andy, he was amazing. We will be back for the other escape rooms!

This was my first escape room and it was a blast! The puzzles and challenges were fun! We did pretty good but found that we needed a few nudges here and there. It really felt rewarding getting through the experience. The Lost Expedition felt perfectly suited to 4 people. I highly recommend this for a fun group experience! While we were being indoctrinated for our expedition by the staff we heard a different group screaming their heads off at the end of, The Neighbor, which totally has me wanted to do that next. Thanks for a fun birthday experience Steal & Escape!

FANFREAKINGTASTIC!! This escape room was incredibly fun, challenging, and a little twisted. We were able to complete the escape room with just 3 minutes left but when we chose the option that we did it gave us the other one that we didnt want to do, thats the only reason this is 4 stars and not 5. Their mini puzzle to start was AMAZING! It is just what was needed to get the juices flowing to start solving the puzzle. This is great and so much fun and I highly highly recommend this to anyone.

This was a unique escape room. We did The Neighbor and escaped with 5 min to spare. Our gamemaster, Andy was very friendly and funny! The room was dim, especially the first room. The AI was pretty outstanding! We would definitely come back to this place!

My boyfriend and I have done over 30 escape rooms and by far, The Neighbor tops most of our lists. Phenomenal. I recommend for theatrical production with the rooms and props as well as for the clues. Not too obvious, not out there impossible. We have a system with solving puzzles yet they just dazzled us. So much fun!

GREAT room. Use of tech was amazing. Highly recommend! Ideal team size for this room is probably 2 or 3.

This is the best escape room in San Diego!!! We tried four seasons and the lost expedition. My family enjoyed so much and our game master helped us throughly to make us to feel like the real explorers. We re going to be back to try the neighbors room soon.

My group and I were looking for a last minute escape room since we were coming out of town for an errand that was going to last all day. We were not hopeful on finding an escape room since we were going on a Friday and later in the afternoon. Lucky for us, this place had an opening for 5pm and we booked it instantly. I went with a group of 4 and we attempted the Neighbor and we finished exactly in an hour. We loved how this escape room had you moving from one place to the next. Never expecting what will be behind the next door. This place definitely deserves a 5 star. The workers there also seemed to enjoy their job and were very outgoing and happy to help.

Wholeheartedly recommend this escape room! We played The Neighbour and really enjoyed it. The game s puzzles are all solid and the set dressing is also really good, but most of all we enjoyed the story and how you interact with the game! It s always so cool to see something creative and new in an escape room even after playing more than a hundred. We also loved nerding out over all the tech and programming behind the game with the owner, thanks for a great experience and hopefully we can go back to experience the other games at one point!

The Neighbor escape room was by far the absolute best I have ever played anywhere. Very well thought out puzzles, with a great use of technology that requires super high engagement from all players and keeps gameplay consistant and challenging. I will be back for the other room and will bring more friends! They also have some very cute and affordable puzzles in the lobby.

We are in town visiting and decided to play The Neighbor last night since wed read so many great reviews from other enthusiasts. The gamemaster (and sweet younger girl who greeted us) were enthusiastic and really seemed to enjoy what they do. The gamemaster really wanted to ensure that we enjoyed the game and spent time talking with us about the game afterward. We loved the games uniqueness, creative tasks, and quantity of puzzles. We will definitely be back to play the other rooms next time were in town. Were escape room enthusiasts and former escape room owners, and we highly recommend trying this company if you havent yet!

This was such a fun experience. My family (kids ages: 14, 11, 7, 5) and I enjoyed Steal and Escape Room Adventure! The staff was really friendly and the adventure was so fun! Would def recommend.

10/10 absolutely the best escape room I have ever been too. We did the neighbor and it was challenging, adventurous, well thought out and most importantly an amazing time. The Artificial intelligence integration is absolutely mind blowing. Thank you Marlene for all your help throughout the room! We will 100% be back to try out the other rooms. Easily the best escape room in all of San Diego county - this is a must for any adventure seeker. Like all the other reviews if I could give more than 5 stars I would! 10/10 best bang for the buck! Shout out to Aaron and Jason for being outstanding hosts.

Our first visit (were from CO) was a lot of fun, Manny was an awesome guide. This quest was challenging and kept us all engaged! You can see how hard the owners and staff work to make this place so awesome. Thanks for the fun!

Absolutely loved the rooms here, did both their neghbor and lost expedition rooms. Setup is great and their use of some game elements was outstanding. So far the best escape rooms Ive done. AND THEYRE STILL IMPROVING ON THEM. These guys put alot of effort into making the rooms enjoyable as well as having a good story to them. If they put anymore rooms out you can bet Ill be back.

Ive been to five escape rooms now and this is by far my favorite. I love how immersive the set design is, and that the props to solve the puzzles are very relevant to the actual storyline. It makes the puzzles central to the fantasy play of Im in this role solving this problem. I also LOVED that we got to pick roles ahead of the start of the game, and each role came with its own prop. I appreciated that they could step in (we were playing with 2 adults and 3 kids), and ask us leading questions that would get us to re-focus or guide us toward solving the puzzle. I never got that feeling of despair like we were lost or stuck. Compared to other companies that offer a we only offer 3 clues package, this was well thought-out to optimize the emotional experience of receiving help and without even breaking the fourth wall. I will definitely be coming back here. Reasonably priced and especially for the San Diego area. Easy to get to off of main freeways that provide access to more touristy areas if youre not a local. I am incredibly interested in having someone from the creative team connect with the imaginative storyteller kids in my life, to help unveil career options that can revolve around play.

But we were struggling quite a bit and left the room feeling a bit incomplete for lack of a better word. But the team at Steal and Escape were so passionate about ensuring their guest have a really great experience, and they offered for us to do their third escape room the lost expedition , at no additional cost. We are so excited to go back and try this room out! If you are looking for a really great escape room experience, Steal and Escape is definitely the place to head to :)

My friends and I did the Missing Season room and it is one of the best themed escape rooms we have ever done. The puzzles were also really fun, there were some real funny parts to the room, and everyone in the group had something to do at all times. We definitely plan to come back and do the other two rooms.

We did all three rooms here on our trip down to San Diego, and we had the luck and pleasure to have Jordan as our game runner for all three. The rooms here are unique, the puzzles are creative and the stylistic nature is fantastic. Would recommend steal and escape for both novice and advanced escape room enthusiasts and seriously can not sing Jordan s praises enough, definitely one of my all time favorite game runners in the years we have been doing escape rooms.

I went with my wife and children for the first time; weve been doing scape rooms for a few years and we love the adventure and thrill you get from completing the task under pressure. We were able to book it, play and complete the release form all on their website and it was easy and painless. When we got there, about 5 minutes early, our guide was already there and he immediately greeted us, he was very upbeat and energetic. Read full review, etc. We played a video introduction about our scape challenge which was very helpful about the expectations of the game; we stated the game and it was ownsome and we were able to complete it with in 9% of the fuel left. YEAH! definitely recommended to all scape room enthusiast.

Great experience. Enjoyed it so much we did all 3 rooms in 2 days! We have done a lot of escape rooms and these are some of the best! Awesome stories and all three start in such unique ways. Kevin and Manny were amazing GMs. Highly recommend.

We did The neighbor room and everyone loved it! It was fun and challenging enough. It was cool that we can do each tasks in parallel. We would love to check out other rooms! Highly recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal. We have so far done three of their escape rooms (an old one was removed and updated to The Neighbor). By far the best escape rooms weve played in San Diego area. The puzzles are definitely tricky but the ingenuity and the overall decorations set the bar for the area in my opinion. My whole group got to meet the owner when we did The Neighbor a week ago too. Hes very friendly and just a genuine person. Thanks to him for all his effort, and as a note to him: I have only continued to work on my power stance. I would imagine M*****E would appreciate it.

There were only 2 of us which made it really fun because I wouldve been too stressed if there were more than like 3 of us. This would be a great team building activity to do with a company/staff. My friend and I realized we are a really good team and great at problem solving. The room itself is so pretty and high tech. The puzzles were so fun to solve and are so creative. After the room was done, we met up with the game master. He was so fun to talk to after the game and answered any questions we had (I was extremely curious about the things people have done in the past i.e if people have broken things/whats the funniest thing he had witness being a game master, etc). Overall a great experience here! I wish I remembered everyones name so I could give them shoutouts
