Skeleton Key Escape Rooms San Diego

A lot of fun! It was great that we had a private experience just for our group and the moderator was awesome. Fun for all ages! The game itself and puzzles involved had a good variety and were challenging but not impossible and one of the best escape rooms we have tried.

We had such a fun time here and loved our whole experience! My partner and I found this place on tiktok and decided to make the commute from LA and it was so worth the trip :) we met Tyler, one of the owners/game hosts, and they were so friendly and willing to share a bunch of fun facts about their space and past/future rooms! One thing I loved about the room is that Tyler specifically mentioned that they try to involve all five senses in the experience (minus taste since that s a bit tough to do). They always have promos going on on their website or if you call, which is always a plus :) can t wait to come back!

I would highly recommend the Skeleton Escape Room- the puzzle was so creative, engaging, and fun! The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We will definietly be back!

Great puzzles! Tyler was fantastic and very kind. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed solving the different puzzles along the way.

It was my daughters and I first time doing one of these and Im so happy we we went with this one. The host is amazing and very helpful. I didnt think a bunch of 11 year Olds would know what to do but youd be surprised. Very fun and definitely recommend.

We were expecting something very corporate and slick when we found this online, and we re pleasantly surprised to find it was something that I would define as the repertory theater of escape rooms hand-made for a love of the craft of it all. The creator was enthusiastically telling us about the craft of putting it all together as well Other escape rooms in Southern California area that she felt well well worth a visit. Don t let the dated industrial outside of the offce that it sits in deter you inside you ll find a family friendly experience. I highly recommend that, if you have the time, come and visit and spend an hour having some fun and supporting new creators who clearly love their craft.

My family and I had a blast here! During our San Diego visit, this was the only escape room we did, but I am so happy we got the opportunity to make it to this one. The hosts were great, the game was very creative, kept you thinking, and was totally lots of fun. If youre looking for something fun to do as a local or someone passing through the city, definitely add this to your to do list.

I like the unique theme. We had a great time! It wasnt super challenging but still very rewarding to complete.

On a recent trip to San Diego from Phx, I did Carlisles Cafe at Skeleton Key Escape Rooms with my sister. This is a quaint, family friendly room, that will delight any age. We are both over 65 and loved it! It was run by sisters Tyler and Kolby, who are just as nice and sweet as can be. Tyler, I must say, is quite the artiste, and did most of the pictures and drawings herself! We were very impressed! This room really made us think! They kept us on the straight path when we tended to stray a little. (Thx Tyler, thx Kolby!) I would highly recommend this business to families, for birthdays, for anyone wanting a fun room.

Fantastic escape room with wonderful owners. They put a lot of detail and attention into their room and it shows. Worth taking the time to check them out and experience their room. We did their coffee house themed room and it was great, cant wait to see the next room.

We came here for my sons 11th birthday. This was an awesome and very underrated escape room! I sorely underestimated the intricacy and while its solvable, its absolutely riveting! I grew up with Nancy Drew and this gave me such nostalgia. It was a very well thought out puzzle and quite frankly I loved it. We had two kids (14 and 11) and they both were able to equally participate in the game. So much fun!! The staff was friendly and welcoming. Thank you Skeleton Key Escape Rooms for a wonderful time! 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

My fiancé and I came here and loved it! We both love escape rooms and this one was really fun and sweet. There was lots of attention to the atmosphere of the game and the puzzles were really fun. What made it special was that a lot of the artwork in the rooms were created by the business owners! Highly recommend stopping by here!

Such a fun room and the owners are the sweetest people!! Loved all the personal touches inside the room and all of the original artwork incorporated into the puzzles was such a nice touch. Highly recommend :)

Very disappointed came here with family while visiting San Diego. Probably one of the worse Escape Rooms I ve ever been to . Very amateur and Not organized . Wouldn t recommend it to anyone.

A cute idea that ticks all the boxes of what an escape room should be. The staff is super friendly and I can t to see their future rooms!
