Phenomenal Escape Room San Diego

We wanted to do something different for my daughters birthday. We had a great time! The staff was very helpful when we had an issue with the booking and made the entire experience so much fun. The set was well decorated and the puzzles were just right for a first experience with an escape room. We will definitely go back when they open Emilys room.

This was my first escape room. It was multi chamber. We were split up initially in pairs and had to escape the initial rooms then escape from the greater area. It was fantastic. To escape the initial rooms you have to work with the people in the other rooms. It was fantastic! Really creepy too!

This one is really fun to play with your friends. It WILL require teamwork. Our host was super cool too. Ive done a few rooms before coming here and this one is relatively hard, but still very enjoyable. A bit of role-playing will help in your escape

OMG!!! To say that this was Absolutely Awesome, I would say nothing! Yes I was nervous on the beginning, but when game actually did started, it s began so much FUN!!! I even got upset that we got out of room before the game time ends, I wanted more and I can t wait to do it again and bring more of my friends to experience life outside of the box thinking! Highly recommended! Thank you to the owners for such thing as this amazing experience!!!

If you like horror type escape rooms, this one is for you. The puzzles are different and not super easy (in my opinion). The operator was super nice.

Very fun! The rooms were very intricate and realistic. Probably one of the more challenging escape rooms that Ive experienced, but definitely worth it. Overall a very good experience; definitely would recommend.

It was good experience. Room is scary but not so scary so it s good game to play with family of with friends. You will definitely enjoy your experience and will have incredible time!

We absolutely loved this escape room. The little details that they put into the scenes were great. Overall the puzzles were fairly challenging and got our adrenaline going. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is both experienced in escape rooms and any novice.

We were so hyped to play this game, especially because of all the fantastic reviews, but after playing, we don t understand the reviews at all. I ve never had to do an entire room with my arms chained behind my back. I thought there most certainly had to be a key somewhere. Nope. My entire hour consisted of me only being able to interact at hip level and to make matters worse, during my escape, my cuffs locked tighter around my wrist and by the end of the game my wrist was visibly red and swollen...
Read full review. But I didn t complain enough, so that s on me. Unfortunately, there s zero immersion and no live actor. Yes, you re in a room with blood on the walls and some cheesy limbs, but that s it. My partner and I freed ourselves and we were told we had to wait for other players to get out before we could progress. But then we discovered that wasn t true at all. We were the first ones out of our cells and helped free others. After that, it s literally 1 puzzle per room (that only one person can do) and you re done. It s so sad. We thought we were barely getting started and the game ended! There is nothing scary about this room. Nothing thrilling. Nothing exciting. Edit to Owner: We drove 100 miles to play this room so we anticipated enjoying it very much. Your game master told us they had never played an escape room before and it definitely showed. As for the handcuffs, I know you expect us to slip our arms under our legs to get out, but my shoulder dislocates, so that s impossible for me, that s a poor design flaw on YOU not on me. But even if I did turn my cuffs around, there was nothing left to do. I ve played almost 100 rooms, this was by far the worst. I can t help but notice your fantastic reviews mostly consist of new players that don t know what an amazing escape room looks like. I m sorry we didn t enjoy your room, but again, that s on YOU.

We had so much fun with our department. The rooms were well thought out as well as the clues. We would definitely go back to the Phenom Escape Room for another adventure. However, I am still waiting on the pics that were to be sent to me of the group. They are all wanting to see them. Thanks!!

It was such a great experience! It was my first time at escape room. Very friendly hosts, that gave us a safety briefing, and assured that if at any time we don t feel safe/or get extremely scared, they ll assist us. The game took us about an hour, and was quite challenging (at least for me). I would totally recommend it! Such an amazing team building opportunity!

Awesome experience! I had high expectations and they were met, our team had a great time during our team building activity! We did Elite Hunting Club and it was a lot of fun! The staff was super accommodating and nice. Definitely will try another escape room which will open soon :)

Ive been to several escape rooms, and this one is by far my new favorite. The staff was awesome and made the whole experience really fun. The rooms have interactive props, not just the cheesy flimsy things Ive seen in other rooms. I liked how this particular room required collaboration. Ive been in other rooms that attempted to make you work together, but one person could run the whole game. In this room, it takes team work, or youre not getting out. Lots of fun, put this one on your short list of things to do.

I ve been in many escape rooms, and this one is absolutely my favorite. The stuff was nice . They gave us sanitizers and measured the temperature and ,As they said , rooms were disinfected before we came to play. The game was fabulous . Firstly we didn t really get how to solve the riddles , but after 10 min we got into it . And we made it for 56 min . Thank you for such an incredible experience. I can t wait for your new escape room.

This was one of the most fun and immersive escape rooms I ve done! Puzzles start to get really repetitive after doing multiple escape rooms, but that wasn t a problem here. Definitely looking forward to them opening up the new escape room in the future so we can come back :-)

With the day starting off with brunch and not knowing where to go next I stumbled across Phenomenal Escape Room and Im glad I did!!! It was the right amount of scary and thrilling with the game actually being challenging. I cant wait until the paranormal game is ready to be played

This escape room was one of the best ones I have done. We had a big group and all of us working together was so fun in this detailed an elaborate environment. I am definitely coming back when their next room is open!!!

Very creative and sophisticated escape room. It s challenging, yet, it s not boring by being solely based on simple riddles like most of these in town. I went with a few friends and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience - it was nice that we each solved different challenges and by putting all out wit together did we finally find the way out. The design and authenticity was also something special that wasn t overlooked. I recommend you give this a shot with your besties! Oh, arrive early because parking is challenging, it s located in a busy part of town. If you re anxious and prefer to maintain your sanity, luckily there s parking across the street (in the side street) for like $2...totally worth it if you re not opposed to it.

This escape room was the best one ive ever been to. I wont spoil it but they put you in handcuffs and have a ton of really creative puzzles. The women working there Dinara is amazing and really nice. I had a blast.

Ive done 3 escape rooms before doing the Elite Hunting Club room with Phenomenal Escape Room. This is definitely the most fun because of the clever clues and extremely scary design. Definitely recommend this room!

Lots of fun and was really difficult. The setting was very immersive and we had loads of fun. My only recommendation is that if larger folks (such as myself) are going to be handcuffed I would suggest a slightly larger set be available, as it was somewhat uncomfortable.

It was super cool, the atmosphere is very well fabricated and suspends your disbelief quite well. There was a permeating sense of adventure and at times, even hopelessness. The puzzles are quite challenging and intricate.

Such a cool escape room with a twist in the beginning (I don t want to spoil it)! Excited to check out Emily s room in the future. Great experience and price

Wow! Just wow! Not your typical escape room...its better! Had to think outside the box on this one and it was fantastic! As soon as they open their second room, Im throwing my money at them, no questions asked!
