PanIQ Escape Room Sacramento

I went for a Team Building for the Supervisor and Directors of my job. We got a little lost looking for the place, but other than that FUN. Our host was cool. We did the Insane Asylum (hardest room there) and it was so fun. We did have to use the hints but we got out with 10 minutes to spare. I will definitely be doing more!

Jessica was our game master and made a very fun and enjoyable experience! We did haunted manor with just two of us and it was a good amount for us with our experience. I think with a bigger group of experienced escape roomers, Id try a harder one.

Overall, very good time! My group entered the Wizard Trials room, and the rooms puzzles definitely matched the difficulty level. Not too hard, not too easy. Some of the puzzles were pretty creative, and the lighting and ambience were mood setting. Jessica was a great host, great attitude, and great wizard quips. The only item I could recommend improving was to adjust the audio for every puzzle (unless specifically made to make everyone try to hear something), background music, and hint, so that vital information could be more audible. Otherwise, perfect for the whole family, or a group of friends who like solving puzzles!

Very fun and challenging game with some unique mechanics, we played Wizard Trials and got out in exactly 60 minutes! Katie, Jess and Elijah were great game masters, especially during a rush of multiple groups in rooms at the same time. Will 100% return to play again!

Had an absolute blast at this location! This was my first escape room experience and I m now hooked. We did the Wizards room my first time then I came back again last week with a couple of girlfriends for a Galentines activity and did the Pirates room. It was seriously so fun and I loved all the attention to detail and creativity that went into each room. I will say the hint button was definitely gods sent because we did get stumped a couple times. I ll 100% be coming back with more friends and family. 10/10 recommend!!

We booked the Wizard room as a pre-Thanksgiving activity with our family in town and had a great time! Adrian did such a great job that we decided to do a double header in the Pirates of Tortuga room. Both were a lot of fun and we brought our 6 year old daughter and she had a great time in both rooms! Highly recommend for a family escape room experience!

The Pirates of Tortuga was such an awesome room to unlock! I took my friends here for a fun rainy afternoon activity and how the rooms are set up were so challenging. Jessica was a perfect instructor/hint giver. I will definitely be back!

An amazing place to take friends and family for a mind adventure!! Adrian was an amazing host and very well mannered. Id recommend this escape room for anyone interested. Try out there new asylum room, was a good challenge.

Solid games, great people and very accommodating! We were able to bring our toddler and baby carry our little one. Our group came in for 1 game, but we ended up booking 2 more games back to back. Jessica was our game master for all 3 games and she was awesome!

Had an amazing time. Our game master Jessica was awesome. I only want to go when shes working. She made the experience 10x better than any escape room Ive been to in the area. I also cant wait to try the rooms in Las Vegas. Thank you again!!!

Did the wizard room, and it was so much fun! The attention to detail in each of the rooms was amazing too, I highly recommend it! Elijah and Jessica were both so helpful and I can t wait to go back and do their new one coming out soon Insane Asylum

This is the 3rd time that I have visited PANIQ Escape Room. Adrian was our Game Master again, and like previous games we have played, he was very thorough with explaining rules and just overall a great vibe each time were here. From our first time here when PanIQ opened to now, Adrian is always a delight. My friends and I are looking forward to the other rooms PanIQ has to offer.

I haven t done many escape rooms but this was indeed my favorite escape room! The puzzles and challenges were very unique and yes we did need hints however the challenges were not too hard. Our game master Jessica was also very amazing. She had went over the game with us after we solved it and made us feel very welcomed. Would definitely try out the rest of the rooms one day and could not ask for better customer service from Jessica!! :))

Adrian was such an awesome host. We had such a fun time we booked another visit the next day. Highly suggest to ask for Adrain he will get you set up for a good experience.

I came to PanicIQ with my best friend for our joint birthday. We were looking for a fun activity to do and since it was raining outside we didn t have much to choose from. It was my first time doing an escape room and it was amazing! We did the Wizard room. The detail and design of the room is on point. The clues are fun and helpful and got our brain working. It was a very cool bonding activity to do together. Adrien and Jess were so helpful. We will definitely come back.

My family and I had a blast here with the wizard puzzle. It wasnt too hard for a nine and eleven year old to participate, and Jessica looked after us with clues so that we never got too frustrated. Lots of cool magnetized clues, which I prefer over a dozen padlocks. Would do it again.

Came here as a work team building experience, it was amazing! I have some trauma around being trapped in rooms and they made me feel very comfortable and safe! Katie and Jessica and Tabitha were absolutely wonderful! Highly highly recommend even if you are claustrophobic definitely worth a try!

My husband and I decided to have a date here and signed up for the Wizard Trials . We both have been to escape rooms in the past but this was the first escape room we ve participated in that was extremely interactive and magical. They gave us hints (as requested) at times we were stumped; they were helpful but not obvious- enough to make it still a challenge! Read full review she started us off on our journey with the rules, provided customized hints (she offered to have hints on a scale of very helpful to no help at all), and was such a sweetheart in connecting with us after the game ended (we won! Yay!) and even took a few photos for my husband and I to remember the experience. It was such a clean and great environment. They even have lockers with key to keep your things in to have free hands during the game. Can t wait to go back! (Just be aware that maps leads you to an apartment- turn right into the market place before the apartments and spare yourself the confusion we had )

Jess was our host and she was fabulous and responsive. We finished the first room quickly and we were able to squeeze in a second room before the next booking was done. Top notch fun puzzles.

Jessica and Adrian were our game masters for today. We did the Haunted Manor, I am a big chicken when it comes to things being scary and it was not that bad. The game was doable and we were able to finish in a decent time. Me and my husband love doing escape rooms and this one was def a success. Will be coming back to do their other rooms

I ve been to many escape rooms before, but this is definitely one of my favorites! My group and I completed the Haunted Manor room and we plan to come back soon and beat the rest of the rooms. Our game host, Marcos, was extremely funny & helpful. His enthusiasm made the escape room even more exciting and enjoyable. I recommend that if anyone visits, they ask for him! :)

It was a ton of fun!!! Jessica and Katy made the experience even better as they allowed us to take a ton of pictures after we finished our game. After we finished, Jessica was helpful in telling us about their other escape rooms (we did the Wizard room), and what will be opening in the next few months. My friends and I will be going back again during our next get together. The place was extremely clean, and the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and willing to answer any and all questions we had. 10 out of 10 would do again!

Successfully escaped Pirates of Tortuga! Such a cool room. S/o to Jessica for being so attentive & fun! I have one more room to beat at this location so I ll def be back!

Took my granddaughter and two family members and two friends for the haunted Manor escape room for my granddaughters 12th birthday. A couple of the kids this was their first time going to an escape room. Everyone had a lot of fun. My granddaughters mom said too bad it wasnt a little bit scary. We definitely will be back to try the insane asylum

The Wizard room was cool. Not too hard at all. Just frustrating running out of time just to hear the employee admit yea it s bad lighting . The first room had issues with a couple clues by simply not being able to make out what the symbols are due to fading, second room was poorly lit. This was my very first experience doing one of these so no expectation were met but definitely want to give this review in hopes that they fix these details. Doesn t seem intentional to have aspects of clues hard to see.. I could see hard to find but hard to make out is crazy.

The Wizard room was super fun! My wife and I are not into scary and gory rooms so that room was perfect! I was told by the worker that it is the only room with a special something which you will find out during the briefing of your game. Some puzzles were pretty easy but some were actually really difficult. It will definitely test you so if you want something medium-hard do the Wizard room. I would also say this room is more fun with less people because the room isn t too big and the there aren t a ton of puzzles. The puzzles were tricky nonetheless

This is my third time doing an escape room at this location (and probably my friend group s 30th escape room ever) and I wasn t going to leave a bad review even with my bad experience but after reading the negative reviews (all having the same bad experience as me) and seeing the business respond saying they have made improvements and taken everyone s feedback I m here to clarify they absolutely have not. Read full review night and things have just gotten worse. My first complaint is they need more than one person working on a Friday night. We got there at 9:15 for our room scheduled at 9:30 and did not get into the room we booked until 9:52. And then when we did get into the room our game master realized she forgot to lock something and literally showed us where the key was to unlock the first door. Then all the same stuff lots of other people were saying about the clues are kind of weird. Escape rooms are meant to challenge you but at the end make sense. This escape room likes to make puzzles that slightly don t make sense and when you ask them about why something slightly didn t fit they say oh we always have one puzzle that is meant to stump you. Hard Puzzles are meant to be clever, not random. After we got out we asked the game master how we were supposed to reach a key and she said oh we just place it slightly out of reach so we gage what that would be for each group. We had a 6 7 tall man in our group and he could barely reach the key. When I followed up and said what was the point of the puzzle right in front of the key that made it look like once we placed everything , they key would come to us, and the game master responded saying oh that s just for fun I would ve respected this game master and escape room more to own up and say it was broken rather than keep making excuses for their bad puzzles and rooms that are slightly broken. Please don t even bother responding to this review if you re going to tell me you re taking critique and feedback seriously when absolutely nothing about this business has changed or improved in 7 months. :)

Came here during the soft opening, and again when insane asylum opened. Games are detailed and thoughtful. Katy is a great game master and host. The employees here are cool. Will definitely come back when time machine opens. Can t wait to explore other PanIQ rooms around the US.
