Top Tier Escape Rooms Oceanside

So far we have done two of the three rooms that are being offered. Weve done Atlantis and pirates and they were both super super fun!! Arwen was incredibly helpful and very enthusiastic and after both games filled us in on all of our questions. Thank you so much! For making the experience extra enjoyable! I needed to add that we did Atlantis and then pirates, Atlantis was so much fun that we had to try the pirate room and even though it was exponentially harder, the reward was so much sweeter! Highly recommend both.

Had a great time with our 3 kids (16, 14 and 11) along with my wife and mother in law. The Outside In room was perfect difficulty for us and gave each member of the family a chance to participate. Our guide Kellen was timely with redirection when we lost our way. Top notch facility!

We did Outside In. We all had a lot of fun, but I dont suggest this room for parties over 6 people because its a pretty linear puzzle, and at some points we felt a little cramped with the 6 of us. But the puzzles had a variety of aspects, some were simple, some were interesting, and some were challenging. It took us 58 minutes, and we asked for a clue once. Our host was also super friendly and helpful. We all want to try their other rooms as well!

Had a lot of fun at Top Tier Escape rooms. Our group did the pirate room and found it challenging but still very fun. Thanks to Kellen for helping us out with the room!

Great fun!! The rooms are super creative and challenging while staying fun! It was just me and my wife and we had a blast! It was a fun hour and cant wait to go try out some of the others.

Wife and I went here for her birthday. We did the Outside In. We ve done quite a few escape rooms throughout North County and this one was amazing! Highly recommend. Challenging enough to make you think and very engaging. Our host was awesome!

My family of 4 had a great time here. My girls are 11 and 8 and they were able to participate with no problem. We made it out with 2 minutes to spare. The young lady at the front desk was very professional and helpful as well.

We had a blast for our coworkers Bridal celebration!!! The set was so well thought out and it really transported up to feel like we were in a pirate ship or a Crystal cove. Holly was an incredible game master who helped us play and ask for clues when we needed. She even helped us hide a special bridal prize at the end for our coworker. Puzzles were fun and unique. Will def be coming back!

My family and I had a great time. The staff was amazing. The puzzles were fun. We did the easy room which was perfect for my 10 year old. Would do it again for sure. Very good details and puzzles in the room.

Had a blast playing the Atlantis room! Normally not the biggest fan of non-linear gameplay in Escape Rooms cause the story and details can get lost but they did a great job of giving you what you needed and sprinkling in lore to keep you on track with the story. Plus our host gave us the heads up to expect non-linear play in the beginning so we weren t caught off guard by it! The only time I got a little pulled out of the immersion was the final bit. Either way, our host was super helpful the whole time and nudged us in the right direction in the end to complete the escape. For what seems to be a mom & pop type establishment, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the puzzles and how the players would go through the room. Some of the builds were a little underwhelming later in the room but it does really WOW you at the beginning! All said I can t wait to come try another one of their rooms!

Oh my goodness, that was so much fun!!! We did Outside In with our kids, ages 12, 9, and 8, and it was challenging enough but not too hard. It was great seeing each of them contribute to solving different clues. We can t wait to do another one! And our host Natalia was wonderful, giving us just the right amount of hints when we were going the wrong direction. Read full review was 75 minutes instead of the normal 60, which was perfect! We ended up escaping with 10 minutes to spare. The set design is really great, felt like we were in our favorite Pirate movie. The puzzles were fun; now that we ve done a few rooms, we had a better idea of what to look for, but the puzzles were still an enjoyable challenge. We look forward to doing the Atlantis room here next. Thanks TopTier!

We had a great time at Top Tier Escape Rooms. The Outside In room was unique and clever, our group of 6 was able to complete in ~45 minutes with a couple of clues along the way! Alyssa our host was very kind and helpful. Wouldn t hesitate to come back again!

The overall experience was ok. The place was clean and all of the puzzles worked. The Atlantis room was too easy though. With two people we finished in 40 minutes with one help. Some of the puzzles had seen better days and could be replaced. So so room but not hard although it was labeled as hard.

We had an awesome time here! Our game master Mattie was so cool and made the experience even better for our whole group!

We had so much fun with our game master Maddie, she was very helpful and informative! We will definitely be going back!

We did the Atlantis Room on 5/30/24 at 5:00PM. The room was not well maintained, a peg on the board we were required to turn came off immediately, extra force was needed to spin it. The colors of lights did not match the colors on the board (orange light, red on board, pink light, purple on the board), the hints we were given were not hints but instead commentary on our performance (direct quote you re on the right track with the buttons ), the door to the next room required more force than two...
Read full review of our members were able to give to push it open, two out of our four flashlights were basically dead, and our game master made a comment, it seems like someone is upset so I don t want to pitch in unprompted, also told us we needed to be near the speaker to hear the hints but would try talking to us when no one was in the room with the speaker. Don t waste your time or money here, there are much better escape rooms with more competent and kind game masters.

Pretty disappointed. The game master wore a surgical mask and wasn t particularly friendly as other rooms we ve been to. We did the Atlantis room and some of the props were either broken or very cheap looking. There is a chest with cheap plywood and cheap hinges that could have been decorative to look cool. And the game master kept interrupting the game for stupid things and hard to hear. And a puzzle wouldn t open due to her not activating it. Kinda a waste of $170+ for 4 of us.

I had a great time from beginning to end. The check-in process was quick and smooth, our host was attentive, energetic, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I enjoyed the clues the water element of the room we ended up in, you just can t beat this awesome experience especially for the price.

My group did the Pirate s themed room and it was great! The overall design and ambience of the room was extremely impressive. I don t want to spoil anything but I will say it was one of the most immersive escape rooms I ve done! I will say the puzzles in this one were tough, there were multiple points where I was truly stumped. We made it out but definitely don t be afraid to use hints in this game!

Kayla was fantastic! I visited with my family and Kayla helped make the experience incredible. She was very accommodating, friendly, helpful, and all around a great game master. I highly recommend the Pirates escape room. We had a blast!

I took my teenaged daughter and the two of us had so much fun in the Outside In escape room. Like everyone else had already mentioned, although at first appearances the place is small, but boy do they really utilize the space well. Read full review don t know, then there is a greater chance of difficulties working with those whose personalities you might not mesh well with. Not a problem with Top Tier escape rooms though. I also truly appreciated the easy-going and professional employees there who are more than accommodating and patient. Also, no pressure to pay extra, or up charges, so that too was also appreciated. Arwan was a great host and very pleasant throughout our time there. We will definitely be back soon. Prices were also very fair. Loved the overall experience.

Great experience at Top Tier Escape Room with the Pirates of the Mediterranean Escape Room! Very challenging and well thought out clues to the puzzles. Great theme and well built out room.

This is our 3rd visit and we will go back again! Staff is so friendly and the experience is amazing!

All 8 of us had a blast. The clues were tough but with our teamwork and a little help from the host we managed to get out just a few minutes before our time was up. Great memory and the kids want to experience another one soon!

Easily one of the coolest engineered Escape Rooms Ive ever done! We have completed 2 Rooms here, and both were so well made, mentally stimulating and very immersive! Arwen was our GameMaster, and she was AWESOME! She offered clear instruction, was very patient with questions, and only offered guidance when it was asked for/needed. The only sad thing is we theres only 1 Room left for our group to complete!

Outside In: A clever approach to a linear room. Great for a team of two. Our GM, Arwen, was awesome. It s a bit simpler for experienced players, however the gameplay makes it worth doing.

My family and I had a great time at Top Tier Escape room. We did the Pirates of the Caribbean & it was so much fun working together to figure out the clues. We will definitely be back!

Holly was a pro at running our room, giving us a hand when we were stuck or just missing something(look up, dude)! Pirates room was also a blast to play with great production value and plenty of layered puzzles! Definitely a fan of this place.
