No. 1 Escapes Irvine

This escape room is AMAZING!!! The staff is extremely nice, polite & helpful. The clues were challenging but werent impossible to figure out. Great make you think clues! Been to lots of others but if I had to pick just one to go to forever, it would be this one! Would recommend for teenagers &/adults! Thank you for the enjoyable time

A lot of fun! We did Jester s Revenge for my aunt s birthday and we had a blast. The room was really nicely decorated and the escaping was quite genius. A little difficult, but with teamwork we got it done. I would definitely recommend No. 1 Escapes for any occasion.

Very friendly and immersive experience. Clean and very safe. I have done both their current rooms, Revolution, and The Jesters Revenge. Revolution is the easier room meant for 4 people or less. Jesters revenge needs at least 3 people. The Revolution is pretty intuitive and engaging. We finished with 2 people with 5 mins to spare. The Jester was much harder, and you have to split up in the beginning and work together to be reunited. Finished with 1 sec to spare with three people. Needless to say the adrenaline rush was exhilarating! The owners are so nice and really friendly. Would come again, even tho I finished both rooms. Highly recommend.

This was a fun event. Had a guys night out and did the Nations Treasure room. The clues were well thought out and not to easy. Made it out in the nick of time, which made it more enjoyable. We were a group of 5, but you can have up to 10 people. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a great time No. 1 Escapes.

Review for the Treasure of the Nation room: Non-Linear room, so the clues you solve will probably come into play much later than expected. Dont be afraid to ask for clues, as theyll help point you towards the right direction. Used some clever items to propel the game forward, but overall, nothing your group wont be able to handle. We ran with 6 and it felt like 2 too many.

We had a blast playing National Treasure. This was my first time going to an Escape Room and I will for sure be going again. The person running the place was so kind and helpful and we loved the challenge of trying to solve the puzzle. Thank you!

Fantastic escape room for team building!!!! We separated into two team and competed at the same time in the two different rooms. Both teams had an amazing time and it came down to 1 minute difference in time. Owners were so personable and I would highly recommend booking your team building event.

Played Jester s Revenge with a mixed group of 9 family members (ages 5-75 and all levels of escape room experience). Everyone had a great time. The room wasn t easy so newbies may get frustrated (assistant said their other room was easier), but we enjoyed the challenge. The owner answered when we called to book and was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended. Minor suggestions for management: rooms could use slightly more lighting and a few of the objects could use refreshing .

We just played the Jester room and we all had so much fun! There were six of us including our 3 kids and everyone had a blast. There s a new owner, David, who was fantastic! He made the experience so much fun. We will be returning for sure!

Had great time solving through Jesters Revenge with my group of 9! We are so thankful for the game master who was so generous & patient with my group. Want to recommend to anyone who has been clearing escape rooms all throughout the area! Puzzles were quite challenging (caught by surprise ) and it had interesting connections from one puzzle to the next overall, we all had good time & recommend for anyone up for the challenge. Thank you to our awesome game-master!

We did the Jester s revenge for my daughters 14th birthday. It was a fun experience and liked the hits we got when needed. The owner was very nice and helpful. Can t wait to go check out the other room.

You guys are great. Fun rooms. Great people running things. Not too hard just right on the puzzles and makes you coming back for more. Cant wait until the 2 rooms open up late this year!

This escape room was super fun and the service was exceptional! We did both of their rooms and they were both awesome!! We ll come back if we re in the area again!!

We had a blast doing Revolution room with our family. We came here for our sons birthday and our whole family enjoyed solving the clues and puzzles. This was definitely family-friendly and our kids enjoyed this as much as we did. Loved all the props, theme, and different types of puzzles to solve. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking for an escape room for kids or a fun time with a group of adults. We will be coming back for another room and we all cant wait!

my family and I went to No.1 Escapes yesterday (6/3/22), we have been to alot of escape rooms and no one has created such a compelling intro video like this place (sorry, no spoilers!) My kids loved it and the staff were very kind to us. We nearly beat the jesters time but had to ask for a few clues! We showed up a little late but they managed to help us get into the room quickly. Thank you!

This was my first time to do an escape room and I had such an amazing time! I played Jester s revenge with my family and we first started off being separated then coming together as a group. It was fun to work on the puzzles and finding clues by splitting up in a smaller group but then eventually working together. This was such a great way to bond with my family and have a fun night out. Our Game Master was really friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. We really enjoyed our experience and cant wait to do their new escape room in 2020!

Just did their Revolution escape room was really fun and challenging. Sadly we didnt escape it but I had a really great time. The puzzles were very clever and fun to solve. Would definitely recommend! I hope I can try the Jesters Revenge next!

I highly recommend giving this escape room a try! We had to work as a team to solve, as some of the clues required more than one person. The puzzles were one of a kind, unlike some rooms that are endless locks. The use of technology was also super impressive, and really brought the puzzles to life. Finally, the room was beautiful and well-designed! It was the perfect mix between fun and challenging. Cant wait for their next room to open!

My group and I were absolutely shocked upon entering the Jester s Revenge room. The room decor looked like it had been done by a five year old. We had experienced an amazing escape room shortly before trying this one and the difference between the two was eye-opening. The puzzles were absolutely unrelated to the story line and some were extremely tedious with little thinking involved. It was also clear that the room was poorly kept due to the amount of dust and faded lettering on many of the puzzle...
Read full review clues. There was 0 immersion due to the lack of decor and the fact that you could see right out of a window and onto the parking lot from the second floor. The only thing this place had going for it was the friendly gentleman working the front desk. Either the reviews for this place are fake, completely outdated, or the quality of this location is in a plunging downward spiral. The rating was the main reason we decided to go here and our group was completely deceived. We felt completely ripped off after our experience. I am thankful that this was not my first escape room experience otherwise the bar would have been set at an indescribable low. Do yourself a favor and pick a different escape room location.

Not worth it! Came for my bday and because of one little mistake we got booted out 5 min before ending the game. Big disappointment and frankly not so great! Front person very rude and showed no customer service. Get a life dude! It s just a freaking game we didn t break anything, we weren t rowdy we were just looking for clues! Our friend took a picture so that was our one mistake and you gave us a warning!

My family and we are from Minnesota and came to visit. Our game masters were really attentive towards us and made our game really fun. They threw funny jokes and made us feel welcomed. The Heist and Playground were both challenging and fun. The Heist made our brains work even more than I thought it would. But the Playground made us run around and do some work out activities which was fun and challenging. Definitely recommend this place. Ps. Sorry game masters, I forgot your names

I would give 10 stars if I could. I had this crazy concept to propose to my girlfriend in an escape room. When I spoke with the owner, Brian, he was so excited to help make this a reality. He worked with me to get every inch of the room ready and every detail worked down to the second. My girlfriend and I started off solving puzzles in a small room, I then got a work call and stepped out of the room. She proceeded to solve the lock that led her into the next room where I was waiting to pop the question. It is a moment we will remember for the rest of our lives. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and very well thought through. The puzzles are challenging and creative. Please support this business. They deserve it!

Had a lot of fun at this escape room. Weve done several, mostly in the OC area. The puzzles were very unique and clever. The props were sturdy and expensive looking. The technology was impressive. Cant wait for their next one to open so we can try it!

My kids and I enjoyed the Revolution escape room. The clues were challenging for all levels in our group. Our game master Brian was courteous and attentive. Really had fun.

SO MUCH FUN! I went with a group of five and was so impressed with the how creative and challenging the puzzles were! We had a blast, and did indeed escape (I promise Im not writing this review from inside the room ;)

We were invited here by surprise by a friend celebrating a birthday. Challenging, exhilarating, and extremely fun. Outstanding group activity. A great place to introduce mutual friends. The details and quality of the experience were unforgettable. We went to dinner after and spoke about it for hours. Highly recommend this.

Our group played Da Vinci, it was really fun and our game master was excellent and overall me and my friends really enjoyed it!

We had a great time with this room. With only three people, one a newbie, and a couple hints, we were able to decipher the clues. Staff was great. Enjoyed the challenge!

Great experience. The guide was very engaged with our progress so when we asked for clues he knew just what we needed. Helped without giving things away. Well designed scenario. Small operation so they seem very anxious to see to it you have a good time. Full marks.
