Escape Room 66 Irvine

What a blast! We chose this game based on proximity to where we were going to be, as well as all the positive reviews. Weve done probably 10 different escape rooms, and I have to say that the design of this one was very unique, as was how the game began. The puzzles were challenging but fun and since it was just the two of us and there was a lot to do, we really had our work cut out for us. Taylor is a fabulous game master. We are definitely looking forward to trying out the games at their Los Angeles location.

Fun room, perfect for our small group of 3 fairly experienced escape room goers. There was plenty of little puzzles and games out in the waiting area that we enjoyed while waiting for the room setup. Its not a very big room, and the difficulty felt easy-intermediate. The puzzles were not too confusing, and I liked that the hints didnt give away anything right away and just kind of pushed us in the right direction. Parking was easy and the location was convenient, just across from the Diamond Jamboree plaza.

It was a blast. For us the room was a perfect balance of fun and challenge. Everyone had a great time. Id definitely recommend Escape Room 66.

This was a great time! The puzzles were varied and interesting, and the theme was great. It is a lot of puzzles for just two people, but definitely doable. Taylor was a wonderful host, super warm and helpful.

This was a great experience! The waiting room was decorated and had lots of activities for us to fill the time before we entered the room, with complimentary refreshments in their fridge! Taylor ran our room and she was super nice; led us the whole way through getting into the room (which was thoroughly decorated, I loved all the details). We escaped (with bonus)! Overall a great time, I would highly recommend!

We celebrated a birthday by breaking out of prison. The room was big enough to allow a big group to be comfortable. We had loads of fun, and I think it would be a great team building activity. Thanks to Taylor for helping us have a super time!

A great newcomer Escape Room group! A welcome addition to the growing Escape community of Central OC. The debut Prison Break Trapped In Time is a great non-linear puzzler. It uses simple lock tech with a lot of ingenious puzzle design and great fully realized atmosphere. Even the lobby and bathroom are lavishly themed. Had a great long chat with one of the owners (Hi Taylor!) and I always love smaller, personal experiences with escape room companies. Cannot wait to see their expansions and new games down the line.

We love Escape Rooms and this one was suggested to us by a friend. This is my favorite one by far. Had a great time and it required us to work together which is one of the reasons why I love escape rooms so much. Would really recommend. Id give 10 stars if I could

Fun escape room! It was just the two of us and we escaped. This room was well decorated and has a lot of puzzles especially for two players. Its all mostly classic mechanics (vs hi-tech, electronics), key locks and combo locks, but it was well done that it didnt bother me. Its a mom-and-pop shop, so one of the owners were there, and it was a pleasure talking to her. She definitely loves what she was doing vs the day job she had in her past life.

We took 2 of our Grandchildren to the Irvine Escape room. They had SO much fun! My 12 year old Granddaughter really did not think it would be fun when we booked it. Her 10 year old brother was excited! They both had a blast! Taylor was a Great Hostess and explained everything well and was there to help with clues if needed. Great family night out!!!

The room was a lot of fun. Sets and puzzles were really well done and our GM was great. This place exceeds my expectations of escape rooms. I strongly recommend this place and I hope I have the chance the try the games at their sister location sometime.

What a great time! We went with 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-14) and everyone had a blast! None of us had been to an Escape Room before, so we didnt know what to expect, but Taylor made it fun for all of us. Highly recommend.

Very fun prison break themed room! Did the location in LA and now this one, and they dont disappoint! Best game hosts. Taylor very nice and passionate about her job. Do this w a group! I hope to do more rooms soon w this location :))

Thought it would be a good family activity to do for my daughters birthday. We had a BLAST and we got out with 2 minutes to spare. I highly recommend it. Make sure you have a well balance of thinkers in your group.

Just played prison break at escape room 66 made our second leader board from this company if you haven t played any of there games they are a must great family owned company looking forward to the new location and more games swamp kingz 4 life

We had an excellent time here! The puzzles were so fun and interesting to solve. Very creative! Taylor was very accommodating to our group, and we are really appreciative! She is friendly and welcoming and she did wonderful moderating our game! Looking forward to coming back here!

This gen 1 room was absolutely amazing! It was so much fun! We had a group of 5 and various skill levels ranging from 3 games played to over 80. All of us had plenty to do and we all cant wait to come back for their next room and to bring more friends to try this amazing room! You can tell the love, care and effort they put into designing this room. Thank you Escape Room 66 for a great and memorable night.

One of the best escape rooms Ive been to. The design and concept was great. I had so much fun here with my husband. Will definitely try out the other rooms as well!

Prison Break: Trapped in Time is without a doubt among the best escape rooms I ve done so far. The level of cooperation it required made all of us engage with each other more than I ve had to in other escape rooms. The puzzles were fun, clever, and very satisfying to complete, and the staff was incredibly friendly. If I could scour from my mind the solutions to the room, I would absolutely do it again. But since that s not possible, I instead recommend YOU to do the escape room and experience it for yourself. You won t be disappointed.

This escape room was so much fun! Everything was set up great! Really professional team, super friendly and thorough with rules and how to play. Highly recommend this escape room to anyone who loves puzzles or games.

This was my first escape room ever and I loved it! The puzzles were clever and they did a great job of setting a spooky tone. The owners are hardworking, enthusiastic and kind :) Cant wait for their next one!

The room was great with a ton of creative codes to decipher and great teamwork with your partner was required. Taylor who runs this place is just fantastic and has such a cheerful energy. She made the experience even better. We are excited to return to do more rooms in the future!

A very well designed escape room, had our team of 6 talking about it afterwards for a long time! We have been to quite some escape rooms and this one definitely stands out. The team work required, various types of puzzles, and the many locks we had to tackle all made it especially fun and challenging. Most important of all, the puzzles makes sense if you know what I mean. The reception area where we met and waited is well decorated too, cute and fun with games and puzzles. Taylor who greeted us was very nice and friendly, even offered us free water and juice. Highly recommended!!

The Prison Break escape room was an absolute blast! Taylor, the brains behind the puzzles, was incredibly sweet and genuinely pumped for us to dive into her creation. There was a nice mix of challenge and fun in this 1st gen style room. With a group of 2, we finished with about 18 minutes left. What really stood out was Taylor herself she took the time to chat with us about designing escape rooms and gave us some cool tips. The whole room had this quirky and lighthearted vibe that made it enjoyable for me. I would recommend this escape room to beginners and enthusiasts!

We LOVE Gen1 rooms. Give us locks and keys all day and we ll have a blast. That s exactly what happened here! Our group of 3 passed with zero hints. There was so much to do, we were always occupied and we love that. Thank you for the great game play!

What a FUN experience! Our family of 5 had so much fun! The escape room is really well planned out & if EVERYONE works together its awesome! Highly recommend! Taylor was so great to get us all set to begin too!

GO! Just please go. Escape rooms are made by how well the components in the game work, and how engaging the puzzle leader is. Prison Break at Escape Room 66 wins in both regards. We escaped from the room in Irvine and had a terrific time doing so! Everything that needs to open or close or be visible or lock or swing or move or stick or whatever you need it to do works like a charm in this room. There is a tv screen where your hints are clearly displayed, should you ask for them. The room is clean...

Shes fun and light, gives incredibly clear direction at the start of the game, and provides thoughtful, truly helpful hints throughout the game. She even remembered the names of our team members and used our names in providing the hints! Thats pretty above and beyond. I am an escape room junkie whos done dozens of rooms, and Escape Room 66 truly stands out. I cant wait for their next room to open.

Went as a family of 5- super fun. Loved that we started out blindfolded, and that our family had to work together as a team. Everyone was able to pitch in, and the owner was super kind and fun. Definitely going back, and highly recommend!!
