I Booked a private game for the Hydeout online and came in. Google maps shows it s on floor 1, it is on the upper level inside the mall. Important to know! When you get to the front door you can t go inside, there is a table blocking you as if it s set up during lockdown times during COVID. After check in and signing the waiver you are then allowed in the lobby. We then had Jacob as a game master and immediately noticed he s wearing a mask and coughing endlessly while getting us going. I m not necessarily...
scared of Covid or implying we should be scared however if he may have been sick and was coughing while wearing a mask since he was sick he should have stayed home. During the game when you go in nothing made immediate sense or caught your attention. We did succeed at getting out of the room however it isn t the most sensical and you will more than likely need clues as we did! At the end Jacob got really weird with us when I went to the bathroom and commented on the room I saw with the door open that it was neat and well done. I didn t go in or take photos I just commented how neat it was as I walked by and I maintain respect and don t take photos which I never did during my visit. He then insisted my girlfriend not use the restroom after me and that she needs to wait in the lobby and spoke in a very raised, unpleasant voice. I wouldn t come back here and enjoyed Infinity escape in Fullerton much more!

I did the End of Days room with my son. It was incredibly frustrating for many reasons. 1) They separate the rooms with a small metal slide that you have to keep going up and down between. You have to go under a 4 foot tall metal bar while going to the metal slide. When youre 63 this is hell. 2) They tell you before starting the game that there are many distractions and not everything is important. When you get in the game they give you around 15 objects to figure out what to do with. This gets...
worse later in the game with more objects. Not to mention the 20 things on the wall to figure out whats important to focus on. 3) They have this horrible are where you have to sit on the floor and put your hands in these massive gloves (full of other peoples hand funk ). You then have to plug electrical plugs into outlets. Theyre broken and the plugs kept falling out. This is a complete garbage concept. 4) They sell the room saying that its good for 2-8 players. Once we got out, the attendant told us that its a significant disadvantage with only two players. They shouldnt advertise as being completable with 2 people. We left the game early in frustration. Ive done 4 escape rooms total and this was the most frustrating one Ive ever done. The way they force you to run between rooms and scramble is super frustrating. Every other escape room Ive done has each room you enter isolated or there are very limited interactions between the two. Overall 1/5. Theres plenty of other actually fun escape rooms to do in LA/OC area.

A nice, shorter, escape room. Similar to other escape rooms, just a little smaller. Very friendly staff and the setup was really cool. The location is also nice because there are a lot of stuff to do in the area. So if you have to wait a little while you can find a place to eat or find other places to shop.

Our family had an amazing experience here. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, impressive engineering and just the right level of difficulty. We drove 3 hours in total to visit and it was easily worth it. Well definitely be back to try another room.

Great escape room with attentive game master. Tiffany explained to us everything before the game thoroughly and she was helpful during the game too. We definitely needed the help but we managed to escape 3 min before the time was up! Highly recommend this place if you want to challenge your teamwork and have fun with friends.

Alex was our game master and definitely levelled up our overall experience. We played The Darkest Hour - I m pretty jumpy and there were definitely some spooky parts, but overall not that bad in terms of horror. The puzzles themselves were low difficulty and not the most techy, mainly locks and keys. I wouldn t have more than 3 people in the party as the puzzles were linear and the rooms were small - any more than 3 and you ll have people twiddling their thumbs.

Love love LOVED our experience! Joelle was an amazing game master! My boyfriend had the best time for his birthday! The Darkest Hour was so scary!! My boyfriend loved how terrifying it was. I, on the other hand, had to leave the room but I still thought it was amazing! Thank you so much Joelle for saving me from the room but letting my boyfriend finish! We will definitely be back to do other escape rooms with you guys!

We did the End of Days mission and it was AWESOME! Our party consisted of Dad (an Analyst and numbers guy), Mom (puzzle enthusiast) and 15 year old kiddo (super smart and experienced virtual escapee). We were ALL able to contribute to solving the various puzzles. Required teamwork and problem-solving to activate the impressively well engineered puzzles!! We only had 3 minutes to spare by the time we saved the world!! Highly recommend this adventure and we ll definitely be going back for other missions!!

Had a great time here! We arrived 1.5hrs earlier than our scheduled time, but our GM Nikki was extremely accommodating and super friendly, energetic, and helpful throughout our game! She noticed all the things we struggled with and made the game 200% better. Definitely the best GM I have ever met anywhere. Room was fun too, with an emphasis on set design, and very solid puzzles with little to no guesswork involved. Highly recommend <3

This was the best escape room location I ve ever done; my team and I played two rooms. All of the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Ashlyn and Tiffany. The rooms are so cleverly designed and the puzzles test all different kinds of skills. Absolutely worth a visit.

Marco our game master was amazing for Bank Heist! He made us laugh, provided great hints, and afterwords gave us a recap of our game! It was my little brother s first time doing an escape room and he definitely wants to come back to try another one. Marco recommended the End of Days one, I can t wait to come back to try it.

I scheduled the End of Days game here for my partners birthday. Were all in our 30s and let me tell you, it was an absolute BLAST! The amount of detail and effort that goes into creating this is wild. We were literally yelling with excitement and the difficulty level paired with the 60 minute time limit was perfect. As soon as we ended the game, we wanted to experience the others right then and there. Travis, our guide was also amazing. We will definitely be coming back to do all of the games! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is looking for some good fun.

My wife and I booked the Hyde room on a whim, and we had a blast! The room was done incredibly well, and our GM, Jacob, was awesome. The puzzles were challenging but not unreasonable. We had such a great time that we went right back and booked the Bank Heist, our GM Mimi(I think was her name) was also great! I would absolutely recommend this room to anyone.

My bestie and I went here to celebrate my birthday/our graduation, and we had the best time!! It was our second time doing an escape room here, and we decided to do the bank heist this time. Massive shoutout to Marco who was our game master! He was sooo funny and kind. If you re thinking about trying out this room, I definitely recommend! :)

We did 2 rooms and what an experience! We did Bank Heist and The Darkest Night. Both rooms force you to use your brain and think. The Darkest Night is a good horror/thriller room with plenty to keep you on your toes. Definitely coming back to try the others! Travis was our Puzzle Master and was amazing!!

We did the Hydeout and it was the most difficult, disconnected, puzzle and clue arrangement I could have ever imagined!! Although they state that no special knowledge is needed that is absolutely not true! There should be an age suggestion and explanation of difficultly level before you make a choice as we were told this one was the most difficult one at the END of our experience. I would not have booked it if there had been some guidelines as to what age group each room would be appropriate for. It was a waste of $135 dollars as we did not enjoy ourselves as we were unable to solve 90% of the puzzles even with the clues.

The Hydeout was a fun room that has a smooth linear flow. The escape room was clean and Corey was a great host! The end of days was incredible for its set design and puzzle flow. Loved it!
