ESCAPE! Alaska Anchorage

Fantastic experience! We have done a dozen of escape rooms and decided to visit when touring Alaska. This is a meticulously designed adventure with tons of historical period appropriate artifacts in both rooms. It s great for multi generational games especially in bad weather. HIGHLY Recommended! Be aware NOIR room is challenging but don t forget to have fun in the end.

Loved the puzzles! The room was well thought out and played well. The reason I am not giving 5 stars was due to the building being locked and staff not being there up when we were to arrive. Secondly the staff did not seem to want to be at work, their abruptness during check-in and check out was noticable in contrast to the excitement of our group. As a side note the Google map directions should be updated. Both of the cars that where in our group got lost in the area.

The escape room was EXCELLENT but not giving it 5 stars because the place is the strictest escape game weve ever gone to and employees were pretty unpleasant. Children require a $150 deposit, they even have restrictions on how you smell, and the staff was not friendly so it didnt have a fun vibe. If you can get past that and just want to enjoy the rooms, they are exceptionally well done. Just dont have body odor, or they might kick you out.

We did The Tomb and got out with 11 minutes to spare. We have done Escape Rooms all over the US and this was one of the most well made rooms. Love the setup and we are most likely going to do another one tomorrow night! Update: we did come back the next night to do Noir and it was even more amazing than the first room! If you arent a first time escape room player I would recommend the Noir room!

We just did the Tomb puzzle, and I was completely blown away. We had so much fun. The production quality is through the roof. The staff is incredibly friendly. Puzzles were very unique and creative. Really makes you feel smart, because everything you need to solve is in the room. Hints are also easy to get if needed. So worth the price. Would recommend to anyone. I wanted to do another one immediately!

We have been to a few escape rooms in several states. This really is a high quality room and props.

Its always a blast and one of the best in the state. I keep coming back to your rooms, the stories are engaging and the puzzles are so cool! I have done Noir and The Tomb & recommend both, it just depends on how difficult you want.

Awesome! The two rooms were really good. I recommend not doing the investigation room if you dont have the experience in escape rooms. We managed to make it out with 3 second to spare. However, the Egyptian one is kid friendly and highly recommended it!

One of the most entertaining evenings we have had in a long time! It was so much fun to find all the clues and figure out all the puzzles. The room was so well made and the effects were very impressive. It was thoughtfully laid out and set up so it wasnt extremely frustrating but it wasnt easy at all. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity. We had 4 adults which seemed like a good number of people, but it could definitely be done as a couple on a date too, or with some kids even if they are into that kind of thing, at least 8 years old would probably be able enjoy it.

Done multiple escape rooms, and this on was far the most fun. Kept us engaged, and in the mystery the whole time. After solving the first room, we tried their beta room (another escape room), and challenged us even more. Overall, I highly recommend if you are visiting the area. The people running the show were very friendly and kept us entertained.

This was my first escape room experience and I loved it! We did the Egyptian room. The atmosphere was perfect, felt like I was really in a tomb. The puzzles were very clever and the staff was great! It made me feel at ease knowing I could ask for hints. I cant wait to try their new one!

Super fun experience! It was our first time doing an escape room and will have to come back and try the other room sometime. The Tomb was really great, with real quality decor that made you feel like you were really there in an old tomb. It was just overall really great experience, especially compared to the price of other escape rooms here in Anchorage. Definitely a need to do here!

Did both the Temple and Noir and it was one of the best Escape rooms we have ever been too. The puzzles were complex but interesting and the scenes/rooms were well decorated and interactive. Even the costumes that the employees wore were amazing! The production value was on point and we absolutely recommend! A very fun time for our family!

ESCAPE! Alaska was so much fun! The vibes were immaculate and the Noir room was so well put together. There were no red herrings, but plenty of surprises in the room. I can t wait to go back for the other escape rooms!!! Update: we ve done a few more escape rooms now, including The Tomb from ESCAPE! Alaska, and they absolutely spoiled us. Both rooms were such a fun and satisfying experience. I honestly wish we could do them again, but gosh darn, we escaped the first time.

So well done! Some of The puzzles were hard, but the way they gave the clues was clever and just what you need when you need it ! The effects were pretty sweet! Highly recommend!

I ve never been to an escape room before and didn t know what to expect. I was blown away! Top notch production value and innovative puzzles. Loved every minute.

The ambience was perfect, the puzzles were fun, and it was an all-around good time!

Amazing experience. Best crafted/constructed escape room I ve ever done. Completely immersive experience and well taken care of. True to history/the fact of ancient Egypt with was pretty cool. EDITED after we did NOIR. Noir was fantastic! Similarly amazing construction and truly immersive. Great story-line that was threaded throughout the room. The locks/obstacles are unusual and better than the usual directional or other locks. But most importantly, they worked beautifully with my now-fiancé so that he could propose. I had NO idea until the very end that it was happening. ESCAPE Alaska played it perfectly and didnt let on at all. Thank you so much for giving us a memory that well cherish forever and giving me the best proposal story ever.

Such a fun experience! They put a lot of thought into it and I really appreciate that along with the fact that there weren t any extra things thrown in to trick or distract you. Love the theme! Definitely recommend and would like to come back to try the other one

We played the Tomb and had such a good time! Everything was very high quality and very immersive. There was a good variety of puzzles, both in difficulty and type. We really enjoyed the achievement element to the room as well! Definitely in the top escape rooms we ve done! Both the lobby and the room were beautiful, and the service was amazing. The owners were very kind and friendly, and you could tell they took a lot of pride in creating a great experience. Would definitely recommend checking them out for a fun activity!

This was a blast! We (a family of 6) attempted to escape the Egyptian Tomb and had so much fun trying. The staff were so friendly and did a great job getting in to character when we started! We can t wait until our next trip to Anchorage so we can try another awesome room!

If you love escape rooms, ESCAPE! Alaska is a must! The rooms are top notch, cinematic quality and truly immersive. I cant wait to see what adventure they come up with for their next room.

Pretty cool, it was my first one. Nothing elese to compare to at the moment but definitely liked the authentic feel of the room and the storyline behind the whole thing. I completed The Tomb and am ready for another room!

Ive gotten to do both The Tomb and the Noir detective room, and they were so much fun! They do such an amazing job with making the experience unique and immersive. The prop design, the ambiance, every little detail its incredible!! I would seriously reccomend this place. They did a great job matching how much there is to do to how many people can be on a team.

We ve done several other escape rooms and this is the best one we have ever done. The quality and details were excellent. We were especially impressed with the sound effects and lighting when certain clues were solved. The room is private so no worry about others joining your group and the pricing is for each person, so very reasonable for 3 people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have put a lot of effort into the details and the experience from the minute you walk in.

I definitely underestimated how movie quality this escape room would be. Everything from the lobby, the details of the room/hallways, immersion into the story, etc. was REALLY well done. How can I say this: OUTSTANDING!!!!! From the time we walked in we knew this was going to be a good experience. From the warm welcome to the clean decor, it started our adventure in the right direction. Now about the room. We have done over 200 rooms and this was one of the best. Read full review you really got stuck the room runs itself. There were not guessing puzzles or large leaps of logic. The room was clear and directed you in the correct direction without having to ask for a zillion clues. Did I mention that we are also escape room owners? As an owner it was a true breath of fresh air to see owners create their own rooms and pull it off flawlessly. And yes this is their first room which surprised us 100%. We are looking forward to their new room opening up and we will definitely drive the 6 hours from Fairbanks to challenge their newest creation. Thank you again for building a Top 10 room and we can t wait to come back.

Did to the tomb with the family of 8 people. It was an awesome experience regardless of how good you are at puzzles. Definitely a high production value to the props and site.

So much fun and so well planned. The rooms are so creative and the mechanics are so awesome. We ve done both rooms and 10/10 recommend.
